Crystal Balls not looking good regarding Mr. Solomon

Submitted by Losher on
With some content out there on the internet right now talking about Aubrey Solomon it seems like Alabama is about to add another large piece to their class. Along with the bama guys saying they lead for Solomon the CB trend is now all in favor of bama. Even all the Michigan insiders have moved their picks to bama. All the talk about having a chance to bring him back into the fold has since disappeared. This is a huge miss for Michigan at a position of need for the next year. Let's just hope this isn't a trend for the rest of the guys on the board and Michigan can close out with some of the top guys in the country

I'll never understand why guys want to go sit at Bama or Kentucky for hoops and not forge a legacy of their own at a school. You'll get seen no matter where you're playing. That being said good luck to the kid. I hope he does well

Smart kids choose the school that will give them playing time right away. If he wants to go to bama then good luck but there is no way he starts right away until his junior year. So good luck to riding the bench. On the positive note he will most likely win at least one nc ring.
On a side note this kid gives a weird vibe and the fact that he decommites once already from us there is no way he comes back.

SMH Ive been telling people this loss to FSU is going to have a significant negative impact on our final recruiting

Nico, Najee, Solomon all players we are after but so is Alabama. Michigan losing an embarassing game to FSU while Alabma rolls just hurt us so bad.I wouldnt be surprised if all we get out of Tuefle, Solomon, nico, Fillaga, becton, etc was Fillaga.

All these recruits started looking at Michigan because we were undefeated at the time or atleast because we had only 1-2 loses. Finishing with 3 loses isnt appealing to them anymore so theyll go somewhere else

Hardly. OSU getting shellacked 31-0 might qualify as embarrassing, but their recruiting will be just fine. LSU has an unproven HC with 4 losses and recruiting just fine. Georgia has 5 losses with an unproven group HC they're recruiting just fine. Go concern troll elsewhere.

Am I the only one who is extremely annoyed by the fact that Georgia has a 5 loss season and is rewarded with a top 3 class? I don't know what is going on down there. Whenever Michigan has a bad season, our recruiting class takes a hit. Georgia has a bad season and ends up with one of the best classes in the nation. I know the state of Georgia is loaded with talent, but still; I just don't get it.

Georgia is a historically strong program with a dedicated fanbase and good facilities that has always recruited well and basically is the only high level option in a state brimming with talent, what about that sounds familiar? They're always going to recruit well, no idea why that's a mystery.

It's not surprising. Many of the best players in Georgia and other states of the deep South are African American kids who live in small communities, frequently from families that aren't wealthy and haven't traveled much beyond the South. Family and community ties are very important, and the attractions of playing nearby in Athens—where their families and friends can see all of their home games and a good portion of their conference away games—are significant. If these kids go to Michigan or any other school up north, it is far more difficult and expensive for their families to see their sons play.

There are so many high-quality options within driving distance. If you pick Atlanta as the epicenter, then GT is 5 min, UGA 60 min, Auburn 90 min, Clemson 2 hours, Bama, 3 hours, Tennessee 3 hours, South Caolina 3 hours, FSU 4 hours, UF 4.5 hours. Plus, high school coaches are very highly regarded in those communities and most have a lot of incentive to guide kids to local schools.

Everything you wrote is wrong. I'm impressed.

Sorry Oklahoma, Ohio state, Michigan, USC, Texas, and every team not Bama and Clemson, but you have multiple losses this single year. Therefore, we are no longer interested in your program.

Dude, you're a fucking idiot lol. Our 1 point loss in the orange bowl has little to no bearing on how our recruiting for 2017 will finish. I've been following recruiting long enough to know that it's a fluid situation and no one really knows what's going to happen. Michigan will finish strong and move forward with the players they get.

accepted "n/a" as an answer on multiple questions by Bama or they just wrote in "National Championship" for every question. Seriously, what an amazing run of recruiting by Bama over the last 8 years. We need to win more of these recruiting battles if we're going to reach elite status.

If I had every hot girl I ever met chasing me, I'd be as undecided as I could be, for as long as I could get away with it.

It's fun to be persued by the cream of the crop.

As soon as he signs, he's just another Freshman getting yelled at in practice.

We need an elite dt and I know OSU insiders think they lead for tufele.  The difference between good and truly elite teams are these top 50 guys.  Its nice being in the top 5 but our average star rating isn't and that is probably the more important number.
