If I were a Rutgers fan, I don't think I'd pay too much attention to recruiting. Or to the roster or to the games after the first quarter. I'd probably just read the occasional news article and some crazy opinion columns by Steve Politi, telling me how Kyle Flood is a better coach than Harbaugh.

Eh, we grab a lot of talent out of the state and get a layup win vs them every year. Basking in schedenfruede seems unecessary. I can't think of a school having a better friend than Michigan has in New Jersey.

 I was there when we lost and they stormed the field and sitting not far from a goup of 4 Rutgers fans that got thrown out of Michigan Stadium the following year.  Loved Maryland and thier fans (partied with them there and smoked with them here), but Rutgers is insufferable.

 

(Actually a litte taken aback by my negative visceral response to them and even more so the speed with which it formented)

Probably more than fifty percent enraged. These people are completely delusional and to be quite honest they seem to be very disturbed. I guess the problem I am having is how freakin funny they are and how much they entertain me. Bahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. People from New Jersey are priceless. The next game with them could be even uglier. They really should learn to keep their pie holes shut.

They are delusional - but that makes for great fodder.  Piscataway is an easy place to visit for a game, although the tailgating feels like a FCS or low FBS team.  

So 78-0 on their field will suddently change with their pathetic recruiting class vs our top 3-4 class and full JH tutelage?  Delusional.

They have zero shot. They're gonna be a punching bag for eternity as long as they're in the same division as Michigan and OSU.

I don't see any other way around it. Schiano won them some games in the Big East against the USFs and Louisvilles of the world. 

The name B1G programs have a culture of football that Rutgers fans cannot grasp, nor will ever understand because they'll never reach that point.

I watched them a few times and each game it looked like he was about to break into tears at any second.  Not a good look if you want to convince a young alpha-male that you can be the leader of a great team.
