More Sparty Crying about Chris Frey

Submitted by Mojo Hall on

Chris Frey's father is upset at the officiating rather than the likelihood that his son played with a concussion without even being checked by MSU for that under concussion protocol.

"Instead of asking questions about our MSU Training Staff. Why don't you start asking the B1G about a targeting review that they skipped."

Right, that 15 yards and ejection for our specials team's player may have lead to a difference in outcome, just like Riley Bullough.

More Sparty tears.  Link is below.

Good to hear he's okay. It's a contact sport with high risk of concussion. I didn't see the hit so I can't really comment on that but I for one think the targeting rules are not effective.

but it was targeting and I fully expected it to be called down. Shocked it wasn't. Still, with their years of punching in the pile and cheap BS I say let 'em lay. You want to talk shit all year on top of game after game of cheap shots going uncalled? Let a true Freshman light you up! Zero sympathy. Not this one, nope. Let 'em lay.

I came here right after watching a Vine loop of the hit. I actually wanted to ask people for a Bush hit compilation as he's had some thumps this year (all but this hit absolutely legal). I recall a couple vs Hawaii and I thino he got to another guy in the MSU game but I need more.

First time in years where I saw Michigan come out and truly assert themselves in this game. Sparty had had a nasty habit of making Michigan look like a bunch of soft weaklings over the past few years prior to this year.

Hope he's alright, but no one on this team will apologize for doing something that Sparty would've taken pride in doing if the shoe was on the other foot.

Those morons just are not used to losing to us. They forgot what it feels like, even though it was not long ago we were owning them every decade. They sure as shit better get reacquainted with losing to Michigan. Harbaugh is not going anywhere.

have simply crapped the bed in this game for 4 years.  Denard almost had his head ripped off and nothing.  Cheap shots from both teams, late hits, constant jabbering on the field.

Mr. Frey is correct if we're honest.

Massive wolverine fan but be honest guys. Yes, Devin Bush's shoulder hits Frey but Bush's helmet also makes a lot of contact with Freys helmet. This pretty easily could have been targeting. That being said, wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game a bit and I love Bush. Pumped to see him play more.

If that was Wilton Speight or Jehu getting hit like that I'd be screaming for a targeting call.

The fact that should have been called a targeting shouldn't matter when figuring out why MSU let his son go back out there. It was absolutely a hit that should have been flagged and led to an ejection, but Frey going back out there is 100% on his team.

this is pretty much like the same level of incompetence from the Shane Morris hit two years ago against Minnesota. refs blew a targeting call, coach blew a player safety call. the difference is we recognized who was more at fault there; msu just keeps blaming refs as if that would help their clueless coaching staff.
