I don't post new threads here anymore. Why? Because the treatment OP is experiencing is quite common. Indeed, it is the norm. Too many people are more are more interested in tearing down other MgoMembers than in discussing football. In case you were wondering, yes, everyone is impressed with how smart you are when you attack other posters for not being as informed as you are about every tiny detail of every previous thread.
I live in North Carolina and I have some bad news for all y'all:
There is a sizeable plurality of people who live outside of the midwest don't know there is a difference between "Michigan" and "Michigan State." Wearing UM gear, I've gotten shit for Nassar and the rest of the clusterfuck that is MSU.
I patiently explain that UM and MSU are not the same, just like NC State and UNC. Ohhhhh.
From my perspective, I would prefer that MSU stay out of the news entirely. Stey under the damn rock you usually live under, Sparty.
When facing down a trash-talking rival who is gloating about some victory over UM, I have always enjoyed having the retort: "your team may have prevailed this time, but my university has always been and always will be academically superior to yours."
The fact that I sound like an elitist ass-wipe doesn't bother me that much.
Keep it at 4 teams or scrap the bowl system completely and go to 32 teams.
No half measures. If we're gonna expand to more than 4 teams, go all the way and abolish the bowl system. Otherwise, you dilute the tradition and significance of the bowls.
I'd rather pay for an "insider" membership on MGoBlog than either Scout or 247. This place is full of amazing info. If Brian decided to charge $10 a month for access to "after the jump" UFR material, I'd be first in line, especially if all of the ads disappeared.
I think we should all get used to paying for the best content on the internet rather than enduring endless ads for stuff we don't want (or already purchased).
Many Bama fans think the OP (of the Bama thread) is a genius troll. I went back and read his old posts. Here is what I learned:
1) He is not an English professor (or any other profession that requires a modest mastery of the English language);
2) He loves Bama; and
3) He has never before exhibited a particularly subtle or sophisticated sense of humor.
My (highly speculative) conclusion: OP was legitimately concerned that Tua could not speak English. After all, Bama has a history of admitting football players who have academic deficits. I am thinking, of course, of Forrest Gump.

Before 2018, the last team to lose to Villanova in the NCAA Championship game (UNC) went on to win the championship the following year.
Maybe there is a pattern developing here?

Work, drink, work more, drink more, wait impatiently for 9/1/18.
Go Blue! Crush the domers.

Two banners in one year!
Final Fuckin 4 !
Michigan is Elite ...
in so many ways!
I haven't seen anyone post a link to Trey Burke's shot against Kansas, so here it is.
Sorry, IDK how to embed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5RK8ED2CUY
Trey's Shot was just one of many amazing shots that he made in that game.
FWIW, 538 gives the ladies an 81% chance of bearting N. Colorado.

Go Blue!
We'll know soon enough what the bracket looks like.
Beating Sparty never gets old and Muppets are the icing on the cake.
Glenfiddich 12 is my best recommendation for starter Scotch.
Or you could try Irish Whiskey.
Bushmills Blackbush is truly excellent for the price and easy to find.
Do we want Iowa or Illinois?
Seriously, I don't know.
The future is bright.
The team took their task of "beating" Maryland literally and absolutely beat them into the ground.
In College Park. On senior day.
Ouch!
Go Blue!
Beating OSU and ND 3x in one weekend is awesome. Is it any wonder that I've had a few celebatory libations?!
A split would have been pretty good, but a sweep is awesome!
Go Blue
This is not a rivally thing.
This is a sexual assault thing. Bad people need to be brought to justice so the victims can find some peace.
I saw a Sparty with "Choke" shirt (with the Coke wave logo).
How apropos!
Go Blue!
The season is starting to look up.
Mel is turning it around.
I really fuckin needed some good news.
Thanks JB and the Michigan BB team!
So I chipped in.
Chad Tough!
Go Blue!
Another vote for Eagle Rare. It is an absurd value at about $34 (here in NC).
If you can find Blanton's (recommended by several other posters), it makes an excellent gift because it is a great bourbon in an awesome bottle.
I agree with those people who suggest charging a modest membership fee for posting.
It would filter out some of the trolls and provide more cash to improve the site (maybe even pay the mods some beer money).
Put up or shut up.
UM was on fire in OT.
Did M's "fire" spook UCLA?
Too soon?

Pick one. No hybrids.
We've already got UM license plates here in NC.
Let's spread the wealth to Georgia!
This happens pretty much every day in the great state of Alabama.
Karan Higdon is indeed a role model and a true Michigan Man. I know he is inspiring kids to excell in the classroom, the athletic field, and life.
OSU is not longer an unstoppable juggernaught in B1G regular season games.
Beat OSU on 11/25/17 !!!
JT's arm is glowing in the top pic.
Is God trying to tell us something? We need to take the "shine" off that monster somehow.
Maybe Mo Hurst and Devin Bush will think of a way to do it.
Any details on Sparty's loss?
I'm hoping it involved some horrid blunder by Mike D'Antonioio or one of his idiot players.
I don't know much about hockey, but this is some high level wordsmithing.
I'm pumped up for M Hockey this season. Bring on some glory!
Impressive scholarship.
I hope many people read this diary.
And in other news: Devin Funchess caught 7 passes for 70 yards and 2 TDs for the Carolina Panthers.
Go Funch!
Go Blue!
MSU's Super Bowl???
Shut the fuck up!
Maybe this game is their Rose Bowl, but it is not their Super Bowl because that is not a thing in coillege football.

I swear MSU is letting ND win just to piss off Michigan.
I remember Caldwell as the Wake Forest coach.
He was fired.
Nice guy.
Is it safe to get drunk now?
Until now, I've just been popping advil.
Red zone = end zone!
Is it my imagination, or is #8 more accurate today than #3 as a passer?
It seems as though the coaches have lost confidence in Speight.
Why else would they not let him throw the ball into the end zone?
Why not throw it to the dude who is open?
Maybe the defense can score a touchdown, cuz the offense is strugglin'.
Time to score to end the half.
No matter what happens in the game, Matt Millen has something dumb to say about it.
I only saw one UM - Notre Dame game in Michigan Stadium (1987) and it was forgettable. The 1991 game was a gloriuos victory that set the world right.
I cannot emphasize how much I hate the fuckin' domers. I respect OSU as a worthy opponent and pity MSU. I just flat out hate ND.

1. UNC
2. Wake Forest
3. NC State
I want to be able to go to the game. Can you guess what state I live in?
I haven't been to a Michigan football game since the Rose Bowl on 1/1/1993. Ty Wheatley was the MVP of a very exciting victory.
