Please stay coach. I take back everything negative I EVER said about you.

If he goes to the NFL, he goes with the undying love and appreciation of this fanbase.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:59 PM ^
Love Coach, but if I were him it’s time to win a Superbowl.
January 9th, 2024 at 12:29 AM ^
I'm good with whatever Coach wishes. He set out to bring Michigan back to its prominence, and he's done that. Our future is bright because of Harbaugh. Michigan man through and through.
He deserves to be selfish. Go do you Coach!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:19 PM ^
I thought he couldn’t win big games? That’s pretty much all he does!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:19 PM ^
Unbelievable

Unbelievable
January 8th, 2024 at 11:19 PM ^
Everything we wanted.
I said he was done, that it was over, that he should be let go.
I’ve never been happier to be wrong.
Thanks, coach. You did it.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:20 PM ^
My late uncle was Jimmy Harbaugh's teacher and coach in junior high. I'm sure he's smiling up in heaven seeing him finally win it all.

From 2020 to this. I would have never dreamed it. Congratulations to Jim and every member of the program! Go Blue!!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:20 PM ^
Whatever he decides to do it’s totally cool. He’s made the place better from where he found it. Thank you, Jim!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:21 PM ^
Mission accomplished!!!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:21 PM ^
Best run of football of my lifetime. I am grateful.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:21 PM ^
From here to where we are now. Thank you, Jim!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:40 PM ^
it took a little longer than some people thought it would at the time, but Jim did what he needed to to reshape this team and this program.
thank you Coach.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:21 PM ^
This might be one of the best teams of all time. That defense was unbelievable.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:22 PM ^
I think Michigan needed the covid season. It was a year deserving of a mulligan, but also forced the program to take a hard look at itself.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:22 PM ^
Best Michigan football coach ever. Point blank.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:23 PM ^
Thank you Coach Harbaugh for delivering a National Championship. You earned it. Whatever happens next, you gave all of us faithful fans great joy this evening. The 2023-24 season will be the greatest ever.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:23 PM ^
I love you!! Thank you!!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:24 PM ^
I know Yost and Schembechler were great but Jim MF'ing Harbaugh is now the greatest coach in Michigan history.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:24 PM ^
This is exactly what we all dreamed about 9 years ago when coach came back to Michigan. It's not often that dreams actually come true.
What a ride!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:41 PM ^
Dreams do come true. This team is so awesome.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:24 PM ^
Get that contract extension done! Go Blue!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:24 PM ^
I’m at a lost for words. Did this really happen? Damn right it did!!!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:25 PM ^
Whatever he does from here doesnt matter. He's officially Michigan's greatest coach in the modern era, he did what he was brought here to do. Thank you, Jim, I'm sorry I doubted you in 2020.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:25 PM ^
I appreciate him.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:25 PM ^
From the ashes post-Carr to the very top of the mountain!
Thank you, Jim, thank you times a thousand.
Thank you for coming home, always focusing on the players and the Michigan family, and GETTING IT DONE!!!
Whatever comes next, I'm all for it.
HAIL!

Amazing job by Coach Harbaugh. Remember when we used to obsess over his lack of “fiery demeanor” on the sideline lol.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:27 PM ^
Nice job on the interview by Will Johnson.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:27 PM ^
NOOOOOBODY!!!
January 8th, 2024 at 11:27 PM ^
Watching Harbaugh on TV right now.

This team is a perfect reflection of its coach, and it's the best team ever. Thank you, Jim. I hope you stay, but you do you.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:28 PM ^
He did it! I love me some JMFH
January 8th, 2024 at 11:29 PM ^
In all honesty I was fed up with the GA game and the TCU game. I wanted him to step it up. To his credit he did. All offseason their focus was on "beating Georgia". Alabama did it for them. Taking care of Alabama was huge, and getting that first ever CFP playoff win.
The knack on Harbaugh was that he couldn't win bowl games. It's why I in all honesty was uncomfortable. I remember the South Carolina game, they played Alabama in a bowl too previously, and lost. This year had to be that year that they got that monkey off their backs, and they threw that monkey off and left it in the fucking dust.
He's progressively gotten better every year, and he was nearly fired too after Michigan's worst season in a very long time. To rebound like that, to become a champion, I am proud of you today, Jim. I'm proud.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:30 PM ^
It's going to be difficult to keep him in Ann Arbor. As I hear Blake say "business is finished" I can't help but think that he should have said "this chapter is finished". Jim is a great coach and his players love him. I think Jim's place is not just winning for Michigan, but also developing players and coaches for the college game. With Saban retiring soon, I can't think of a better person to develop the game by progressing players and coaches than JH. I hope he sees it, but I think he's gone.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:44 PM ^
You have the NCAA to thank for that. They wouldn't leave him alone, they and the big ten suspended him 6 games. Honestly I think he is done with their bullshit.
Giant F U to the NCAA and Big Ten by winning this title. Fuck them both

The most frustrating part of this "argument" is I have nothing to argue. If I'm in his position, I'm leaving. Unless you fire Warde and give a full court press, I really don't see him signing again in Ann Arbor. And that sucks. Part of him leaving may be 90% wanting to succeed in the NFL, I don't see that happening. Unless he wins a SB in 4 years, which is not easy, he may bounce around in the NFL like Patricia (but hopefully not that bad).

No contract negotiations. Just give Harbaugh a blank check.
January 8th, 2024 at 11:36 PM ^
I hope he stays, but he’s earned the right to go pursue a Super Bowl ring if he has any desire to do so.
He has gotten Michigan to the mountaintop, and in today’s day and age of recruiting, NIL, and so many other built in disadvantages Michigan has to deal with, this was nothing short of remarkable.
Can’t wait for the 30 for 30 on this team in 5-10 years.

I'm ecstatic. I watched him when he played, i made believe i was him in the backyard games, i fully supported his return. Now he's led us here. What a night....
