What's funny is I remember when Pitt hired him after NC State fired him and Pitt fans (of all people) thought they should have done better.

Then that one season comes out of nowhere and Pitt's offense beats Penn State and Clemson. After that, immediate failure at LSU.

He's quite a polarizing OC, which is a strong statement given the nature of that job already being so.

OSU's approach =/= Maryland's.

Maryland runs 2 or 3 guys in motion and then runs zone off LT. The whole approach is to get a LB or Safety filling the wrong gap or being out of position for a RB to sprint through a lane.

OSU ran 1 guy in motion and then found the mismatch with Watson or a Safety and exploited it. It wasn't Michigan getting confused, it was Michigan not having the athletes to match up with OSU's 3rd WR.

It only works if your LBs and Safeties suck. Yes, Michigan's game plan was bad and didn't work against OSU. That doesn't mean Canada's is better for the long haul.

Look what Maryland's offense did against MSU/Iowa/PSU. They barely put up 100 yards on MSU and scored 3 points combined against Iowa and PSU. It's boom or bust and more prone to busting against competent defenses because it's simple.

Matt's just excited because he's settling down to a Blimpy's quint with grilled onions, pepperjack, and bacon on an onion roll.

It's a way of joking about how your order is exactly like my brothers.  It wasn't meant to be a significant contributor to the board,or even for you to get it, simply a tongue in cheek comment about your random comment regarding blimpy and how that order happens to be exactly the one my brother orders, who also is a state fan.

EDIT: and also how this entire board post is...uh...pointless. And the guy commenting below isn't too far off.  There's like five different ways this could be taken.
