This is stupid. And you get approval for this. What were those glory days you speak off? We used to beat OSU. That is about it. Won one championship in so many decades. Have some faith dammit. We got over the MSU and PSU hump. We will get there with OSU. One recruit is not going to make or break a team. We had the best DL from his class in our team. Look what happened. Once we get over that OSU hump we will get to be in the glory days that we did not have for so long except for odds and ends.

Can you blame him? Our defense shit it’s collective pants in the biggest game of the year and looked like a RichRod defense. If I wanted to win national titles and Alabama was an option for me, I don’t know why I’d go anywhere else.

Wish he would’ve stayed, but I don’t blame him for leaving.

I was debating whether to get ham blasted drunk tonight or not, I think reading this has helped me make my decision.

Never forget that Saban offered a linebacker $40K while he was a coach at TOLEDO. Imagine the cash being thrown around now... Hard to blame the kid. Gary making it to signing day was a miracle. Clemson offered him the world, man. We just don't play the same game as these teams. It's a joke.

Oh please, cut the bullshit. He flipped as a result of the epic disgrace of a performance we just gave on national tv. If we had beaten OSU and won the conference championship and were on our way to the playoff, do you REALLY think he would have flipped?

People on here may not like it, but how the team performs on the big time stages with the whole country watching DOES impact recruiting.

I find it funny/odd/interesting that Dax Hill committed to a 2-1 Michigan team that had lost their only significant game of the season (against Notre Dame), was coming off a year in which they went a disappointing 8-5, and had many fans assuming we'd go 8-5 again.  How did our on-field performance put us in a better position then than it did after finishing 10-2, with convincing wins over MSU, Wisconsin, and PSU--even with the OSU loss?  Was Dax really thinking back in September, "I bet Michigan makes the playoffs and so finishes the year in an equivalent or better position than Alabama"?

Now clearly I don't think the OSU loss could have helped, and maybe he would have stayed had that game gone differently.  Teenagers can live in the moment, so perhaps he's now feeling Alabama's success in a concrete way as the playoffs are immanent.  Still, I don't think it's naive to think that the OSU game wasn't the sole determining factor.

62-39 has consequences.

And Meyer could've made it 70. Ohio State was already in the redzone and looking unstoppable. He could've told his team to punch it in (instead of victory formation) and then gone for 2.

Surprisingly, Meyer took mercy on us and didn't pull a Woody Hayes. His offense toyed with our defense for much of the game.
