Jim told me, but he told me not to tell.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
I'm surprised Jim even let you share THAT much Wahoo

We found the leak in the Maize submarine!!!
November 18th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
I’m pretty sure he has already taken the SAT and ACT
November 18th, 2018 at 9:04 PM ^
STATUS: In good spirits and ready to pave some roads in Columbus.
November 18th, 2018 at 9:23 PM ^
JBB seems to have that NFL body type, and am rooting for him to play on Sundays... he pummels people in the run game.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
He was definitely in there early. Just rewatched. Thought Harbaugh said he was a no-go though. Edit. Not for ohio, for Indiana.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
He played in first couple of series.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:06 PM ^
High enough to get into Michigan.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:09 PM ^
Played a couple series early versus IU, then came out for Steuber. Not sure his status. Should be fine if I had to guess, but Steuber also played fine
November 18th, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
He was in there at the start. Not sure at which point he came out, but he didn’t play much.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:28 PM ^
He started because it was senior day. He should be ok by Saturday
November 18th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
So, I'm confused... was he injured, or benched for Stueber?
November 18th, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
Dinged up
November 18th, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
wolverineswire had a report about this yesterday. He's been nursing an injury since Rutgers. They tried him out for a little bit against Indiana but decided it's best to let him rest so that he can be 100% for OSU. Steuber replaced him and did well enough. Link

It’s hard for me to catch everything as I get super wrapped up in the game But I kept saying to my wife, the heck happened to JBB? I thought Steuber played well though. Brian’s UFR will tell the story
November 18th, 2018 at 8:12 PM ^
I don't know what his status is for the SAT, I thought he was taking the ACT?!
November 18th, 2018 at 10:21 PM ^
I'm pretty sure it's the GRE he had to take. Had to leave after the first quarter to get there in time .
November 18th, 2018 at 8:14 PM ^
JBB played the first series and looked good. Stueber replaced him and did well. But I think JBB was being protected for OSU.
November 18th, 2018 at 9:00 PM ^
I thought he was removed when he couldn’t block anyone. That was mentioned yesterday
November 19th, 2018 at 6:08 AM ^
That was mentioned by another poster, not by anyone on staff, and seemingly incorrectly at that. I definitely don't remember any insta-pressures.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:15 PM ^
Serious question: Has there EVER been an instance where new information was revealed in a thread started by a poster asking for new information?
November 18th, 2018 at 8:22 PM ^
Not one time in the history of message boards. That won’t stop people from asking though.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:25 PM ^
Yes. All this info was new to me.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:36 PM ^
One of the weird drawbacks to this being the blog for the more highly engaged portion of the Michigan fanbase is more that threads like this achieve their purpose far quicker than they might in other places. I think you'll find a lot more people here - myself among them - that are watching who goes in and out on almost every snap, so the useful lifespan of this thread is short because a fair number of people here know the answer straight away.
It might be new to the OP, but they'll get that answer within moments here, then the rest of the thread is.....whatever you want it to be, I guess.

You make an excellent point. And the reason is, people care about the details of this program and take being informed about it on their own as a measure of their fanhood. It also explains why on any given Saturday, the complaints about anything can go off the charts.
The fact that most people here could actually explain the kind of blocking schemes that Michigan employs as a matter of fact is only a sign of this inveterate interest and accepted knowledge. I regard this as a point of emphasis for being a Michigan fan and a avid follower of this most excellent blog.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:12 PM ^
Not sure that it's a drawback. Even the most avid fan misses things once in a while, and it's nice to have a place where a hundred guys with the same level of interest can pick up the slack.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:04 PM ^
I slept with your mom. Did you know that?
November 19th, 2018 at 8:07 AM ^
It worked for me.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:29 PM ^
Hope he's good to go, but it was nice seeing Steuber out there. Looked like he held up pretty well for his first extended action which bodes well for next year. Also might mean the loss of Hudson isn't as big of a deal as it might have first appeared.
November 18th, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
Por Favor? No soup for you!
November 18th, 2018 at 8:55 PM ^
Nice try Urban.
November 18th, 2018 at 9:19 PM ^
was good to see Steuber play well, for next year...we are set at both tackle spots.
Harbaugh isn't gonna disclose JBB's health prior to game... no way... he will leave it in limbo.
November 18th, 2018 at 9:51 PM ^
Shit, JBB was hurt doing the limbo?? WTF?
November 18th, 2018 at 10:14 PM ^
When you're that much man, the limbo inevitably has got to hurt...
November 19th, 2018 at 1:49 AM ^
JBB tweaked his knee in the PSU game. I think he played a bit sore against Rutgers. It looks like he played the first two series and then came out for the remainder of the game. May have been a test and when he said his knee was still a bit sore, he got yanked to rest up for the OSU game.
November 19th, 2018 at 9:07 PM ^
He's become a strength for the offense and I really want to see him out there against Ohio. Preferably pancaking some DT/DE while Mason runs over a linebacker on the way into the end zone.
