If I had to pick one of the two to play today, this is probably it. Black gives MSU another big receiver to cover and spreads them thinner. Gary being out takes that position from All-American level to all-conference level. It’s a drop off, yes, but still a heavy strength.

Black practiced all week. I heard he was not limited at all. I heard Gary was limited. He practiced, but did not participate in all drills. No contact for Gary.

Travel rosters are severely restricted, to bring a guy who can’t play is a terrible use and most teams wouldn’t do it.
