I think there's a way to use a nest doorbell, a raspberry pi and a few relays to release a raining cloud of pepper spray on unwanted solicitors.  All you need is a smartphone and $3k, and probably a lawyer.

I agree somewhat.  I work in the A/V industry and you can't imagine how much people spend on tech they don't use or even understand.  This kind of tech is practical if it's used to light a dark hall for your kid, be alerted to a water leak, unlock the door to let a neighbor in to check on the dog, turn on random lights while on vacation, or to deter/ catch a thief stealing a package off the front porch (which happens way more often than someone hacking a smart home).  I don't think you have to be in your 30's to appreciate tech of this nature.

The symbol typically represents chaos theory, a type of geometry that sent the Euclideans spinning.  Benoit Mandelbrot is typically given credit for first having learned it.  I watch too much Netflix.

It does get them off of the Red team.  I hope, think most of them won't participate on team Chaos.

Great job team.  Eradication of VT and Stanford eliminates @ 15% of the Red star power.

Get rid of Wisco and this game gets very straight forward, aka destroy osu

From the pretty much non answer I got yesterday, it must be double top secret, about how stars are used, those 9 star strengths can be different.  We were told that 3,4 and 5 stars have more weight.  Well duh.  How much more weight must be the secret part.  So, as in your example, if you have 9 stars and all of them are 1 star players, like me, then there would be a 90% chance of winning.  But if there is a 5 and 4 star the odds would be even better in secretville.

However the math works out, I think we need to attack more, a lot more.  Have a few defenders to put up a modest fight and hope for those counterintuitive odds to start working in our favor.  And everywhere else start pushing the other teams faces in the dirt.

How are the stars weighted?  Does an MVP count toward the awards that get us more stars?

Seems more like there's no rhyme or reason in who wins in individual battles.  How are they calculated anyway?  A poster the other day wrote that a sampling is taken of each attacking/ defending group then an outcome is decided.  If that is accurate then we shouldn't have our vast army of 1 stars do anything, unfortunately.

Just went through all the ohio state battles from last night that I could find and in all fairness they should only occupy Toledo and Rutgers at this point.  UMass may be the worst example of bs, they had a 4,3 and a 1 star.  We had 2 5's and 11 4's plus many many 3's, 2's and 1's. Seriously WTF.

Equally bad is losing Ann Arbor, where we easily had the numbers not to mention the 2x home base defensive advantage.

Sorry, that was poorly written.  If I understand correctly, we can no longer raise our star rating through karma.

06/14/2018 - 8:45pm Agreed, but it doesn't mean…

Agreed, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try.  It seems like we should take out a smaller team e.g. Alabama or Wisconsin to help minimize directions threats can come from.  Also, we should be constantly trading territories with our allies to gain "MVP" awards for 1 or 2 star players which will ultimately raise their and our team star rating, especially since the recent kibosh of the karma rating.

Hisense is a company to consider, they resently bought Sharp, because of their aggressive pricing, but as with most things you get what you pay for.  I have an AV company and we install lots of Samsungs, especially in bars.  Get the highest refresh rate you want to afford on a tv you like how it looks when its on and off.  Buy a Raspberry Pi, install XBMC (latest version is Kodi) and stream to your hearts content.  Run a Cat-5 to the Raspberry, save your WiFi for mobile devices.

I also do work for Google Fiber and what the public will be able to do with torrents in the near future will blow the cable/ satellite providers out of the water.

Can't believe this is the subject of my first post...milk is not good for us, period.  Strangely, whole milk isn't as bad as skim, but it still isn't something we should ingest on a regular basis.

The advertising for the milk industry is federally subsidised and one of the regulations placed on them is that aren't allowed to claim that milk is "good" for you. They have some clever ways of trying to get around that problem, but you won't be able to find one instance where they claim it is.

Harbaugh is a great coach but I hope he never encourages anyone to ever drink milk, the soup of cancer causing suspects, again.
