I'm not going to throw stones here. I think its fine to give the firm handshake. Not renewing a 5th year makes sense if the 5th year isn't on the two-deep. I also think its fine to have a depth chart conversation and let the athlete make their own decision. Its disingenious though, to believe that conversation isn't intended to push an athlete out. I am not a Bama apologist but there is a formula that ostensibly works. Recruit as many highly ranked kids as you can let playing time and pro draft attrition work itself out. Going into any season Bama doesn't know who is going to blow up and leave as an RS Soph or a Jr. Its a hell of a problem to have. |

Doom is great from a bottle but let it warm to around 45 before you drink it. If you don't let it warm its a little overwhelming with the vanilla and you miss the hopiness of the double trouble. Its also far better on tap. I've had 3 bottles, have a few I'm storing and have had it on tap once. |

I never count on Michigan at Iowa as a gimmie win. That game is always difficult. We're 5-5 with them over the last ten meetings with two losses in a row at Kinnick. Last ten years at Iowa: 2011 - Loss 2009 - Loss 2005 - Win OT 2003 - Loss I know there's a widening talent gap/RR years but I always circle that game on the calendar. |

Michigan fans/alumni will buy every available ticket on the east coast, thus, we are very attractive to the ACC as a home team. Its not like Duke has to worry about that at Cameron - because its going to sell out anyway - but I went to the Indiana/NC State game last year and half the joint was empty. Michigan travels / represents well and everyone knows it. Its a great chance for east coast alumni to get to a game without having to trek to Ann Arbor. I love it, I'm going to be there. |
