Will focus on Michigan and Oregon

Come to the good guys!

Embedding for those who'd rather not go to Elon's hell hole.

Don't care even if it's '26 class. This is the type of kid Michigan wants. Hope he comes.
December 2nd, 2023 at 11:17 AM ^
He'd be the fastest dude on whatever team he joins. Genuine Olympic quality speed.
December 1st, 2023 at 9:24 PM ^
Go Washington, tonight!
Hope he enjoys tomorrow evening immensely.

I will say it's hard to think a high WR recruit watches Michigan and thinks, I can't wait to go there and block. I assume Clemons transfers out.
December 1st, 2023 at 9:26 PM ^
That’s a name I had high hopes for this year. I thought Clemons could be really good
December 1st, 2023 at 9:34 PM ^
Still could be. We just don’t rotate WRs very much.
December 1st, 2023 at 9:39 PM ^
Because we play so much two TE and this year we also played 2 RBs.
Next year we likely lose Wilson and CJ is gone.
Clemons seems like a front runner for CJs spot if he steps up and takes the open spot.
December 1st, 2023 at 9:50 PM ^
Very disappointed Clemens hadn’t hardly touched the field with that freakness they say he has …
December 1st, 2023 at 9:59 PM ^
I think he was working through an injury earlier in the season. That said, he has all the talent to breakout next year. Seems like a really good kid, hope he does.

We rotate receievers enough. Guys with something to offer get chances. Not huge numbers, but chances; 8 guys have double-digit receptions this year, and only 4 of those are in the categories you list above. Both Tyler Morris and Semaj Morgan have gotten non-garbage-time targets in meaningful games. Wilson and Johnson compare favorably in stats with Bama's leading receivers, for example, and favorably with Emeka Egbuka and Julian Fleming at OSU. Not dominant all-world guys but quite good.

Clemons got hurt at an in opportune time. Looks like Morris and Morgan would be 1, 2 right now but both under 6'. Clemons has length and speed.
December 2nd, 2023 at 12:35 AM ^
Seems like the WRs who can block see the field more quickly, and frequently, at Michigan than the ones who can't. This may be part of Clemons's issue. Pure speculation.

Egbuka has been battling injuries most of the year and has sat out games.
December 1st, 2023 at 9:38 PM ^
On the other hand he could become the ‘24 version of Roman Wilson
December 1st, 2023 at 9:40 PM ^
Hines Ward is a borderline NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver who was perhaps best known for his blocking.
December 1st, 2023 at 10:23 PM ^
Ward was an amazing blocker, but he also has the most catches, receiving yards, and receiving TDs in Steelers history. He was not only a blocker (nor would Michigan's receivers be)
December 1st, 2023 at 10:01 PM ^
They won't win your fantasy football league but they get plenty enough work to show routes, speed, hands on film and nfl execs love that blocking film too.
December 2nd, 2023 at 8:14 AM ^
I don't know why you're getting negged so hard for this, it's true. I thought Roman Wilson would get hit on plenty of fly routes this year.
When I think of Jeremy Gallon having 1300 yards it's hard to even fathom.
Nico Collins should have been a 1st round pick, we couldn't get him the ball. Harbaugh hasn't had any receiver reach 900 yards.
Having said that, I'd rather have the 35-1 regular season record in 3 years.

Fuck Oregon! He is Blue!!!
December 1st, 2023 at 9:47 PM ^
Well, that didn't take long...

Do want

Oregon it is then.

You'd turn this down?

Tonight's Pac 12 Championship game must have helped Michigan's chances. Come on down and Go Blue Mr. Bair !
December 2nd, 2023 at 7:35 AM ^
Welcome to the Big Ten!
December 2nd, 2023 at 9:12 AM ^
1. Do want. There is no reason Harbaugh can’t pass the ball. Bo had AC, Des, Derrick Alexander (Mo?) etc. As per the round table we at least need more play action to keep the safeties deep.
2. I saw a profile that said he ran a 10.15 100M which translates (inaccurately) to a 4.23 40. https://www.milesplit.com/calc?time=10.15&event=100m. That is fast! https://youtu.be/ERY2241c1ns
3. I love that they call him Burley Gatlin Blair. (Burley is his hs)

While I'm definitely worried about the Oregon bag, I think the fact that Bair ever committed to Boise State shows where his priorities lie. I think his relationships at Michigan will prevail

Very nice.
