Only a Buckeye takes 6 poorly written paragraphs to gloat "Enjoy our scraps." Go ahead and generate another 6 paragraphs of internal dialogue pondering how little you add to this blog.

Does anyone else listen to these press conferences not expecting to learn a single thing about the state of the team, but instead to just see how coaches deflect, hedge, mince and avoid saying anything particularly useful? I'm all for it of course as I wouldn't want to provide opponents any informational advantage, but they really are odd endeavors these pre-season press conferences.

I'll be honest. When I first learned about Ashley Madison - as a form of institutionalized minimalization and disregard for the value of honesty between spouses and the value of truth - I genuinely felt a visceral revulsion and sadness for the direction of our species.
Nothing, and I mean nothing would give me more satisfaction if not relief, if this disgusting company went belly up.
|1 week 1 day ago||Sure, you can go down the||
Sure, you can go down the shades of grey slippery slope, but the only scenario you present that comes close to marital infidelity is abortion without disclosing the pregnancy to a spouse.
For many of us, while we certainly have strong beliefs with regard to privacy, we have just as strong beliefs that when it comes family and friends honesty and truth on topics of relevance are equally paramount if not moreso. It's a value thing, and for the sake of the millions of faithful spouses that get hit on by the millions of people with no regard for the institution fo marriage or the institution of respect and honesty, this Ashley Madison bust makes me feel good, and comes nowhere near the line on that slippery slope where my internal beliefs are teetering.

For the ones who aren't married, the shaming won't be as severe but it's still there. These are the lovely folks out there with no respect for the institution of marriage, looking to score with married people. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Publicly shame them too.
|1 week 1 day ago||How you get upvotes is beyond||
How you get upvotes is beyond me. Someone else's infidelity doesn't "A"ffect us? How about the millions of faithful people out there that have to deal with their spouses receiving the advances of cheating scumbags who have no respect for the institution of marriage?
How would you feel about coming home to have your wife tell you some guy at work hit on her, knowing she was married? For the millions of us faithful spouses out there, yeah, nothing gives us more pleasure than JUSTICE for this merry band of cheating, unfaithful people who do not value the gift of honesty for their spouses enough. If they can't even respect their spouses enough honest and just get a truthful divorce, would they really respect the marriages of their colleagues or acquaintances?
Sorry man, the "let's let people get away with affairs to spare the kids" argument is just, I can't even....
Bring on this public shaming and hopefully some in this generation will learn a lesson before the next generation of cheatesr quickly forgets it and gets right back to having the moral fiber of a soap dish.

So the world was so much better off when we could all quietly be scumbags and cheat on and deceive the very people we purportedly care about instead of valuing honesty and manning up and finding a solution for the family based on truth and honesty?
|1 week 1 day ago||Yes because truth is never a||
Yes because truth is never a better option to lies and deception. Well played. Most "normal" people out there would prefer honesty and a divorce, ramifications regardless, to dishonesty and living a clueless, humiliating lie. The lack of value you place on honesty and trust is problematic. I'm hopeful you don't share your values with any impressionable young minds beyond this board.

Love dumb sh*t like this so we can put ridiculous expectations on the program and all be let down with 8-4 or 7-6. Give coach his 3 years please, and be pleasantly surprised with modest expectations.

Lavar Arrington wasn't that great. He was a ton of hype and an above average player in a beast body. That is all.

His dunks were so violent he'd literally be horizontal 10 feet in the air by the time he was done, hanging on the rim for dear life. Desmond kept feeding him alley oops too. Desmond just looked like a little boy but the way he talked so much smack and had Michigan football gear on I figured he was a DB or something. It was clear he and Derrick were good friends.

I played pick up basketball with Derrick and Desmond when they were underclassmen at the CCRB and Derrick was the most athletic and violent dunker I had ever seen in my life. I didn't know who the two of them were at the time, but I thought they were football players and that Derrick was going to be a superstar, and Desmond was a mere afterthought. Good to see he is doing well.

I'll go out on a limb and guess you're under 28 and can't remember the days when it actually took talent to make a song that gained national attention, as opposed to nowadays when anyone with a drum machine and 2 bong hits can post garbage online for national consumption.
This song is so bad I'd rather be handcuffed to a toilet stall next to Charlie Weiss and listen to his sphincter pay homage to the 5 buckets of diablo chilli con carne he'd earlier capped with a gallon of lactose enhanced whole milk than have to listen to it. It's so bad I'd rather jam my head up Charlie Weiss's ass than ever have to listen to it again.
So yeah. It's objectively bad.
|3 weeks 22 hours ago||I'll tell you exactly how||
I'll tell you exactly how this is different from those songs. Go listen to those songs again and notice repetitive, catchy hooks, instrumental melodies, be they synthetic cheese or otherwise, and verse/chorus structure to add complexity and cohesiveness to the sound.
This pile of trash is a Super Mario ditty layered with a canned 808 drum track beneath a bunch of kids incoherently barking out T-paned dance steps between grunts. No melody, no catchy hooks, no cohesion, just a steaming pile of audible waste that I will never be able to unlisten sadly.
If this was just some kids farting about in a studio for shis that would be one thing, but apparently this song is a "thing" and to me that is outrageous. I am dumber, sadder, and angrier about my existence and the world around me having listened to it.

Sorry man, but no. Don't know all the tunes you rolled off but as for the macarena, at least that song had such simple concepts as verse, chorus, and actually had a catchy hook. This piece of trash is nothing but a rudimentary drum track fronting what sounds like a ditty from Super Mario, and then a bunch of kids barking out dance moves between grunts. It is absolute, utter shit. I've heard video game songs that showed more talent than this cacophonous disaster.

Stop for a moment and listen to that song again and ask yourself if that isn't one of the worst piece of trash songs you've ever heard in your life... Dear god there is some just ASS music out there...
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Disagree. Not saying my||
Disagree. Not saying my equation is necessarily spot on, and I implied that reality as it is perceived because one's reality really is only whatever they perceive it to be.
But by your equation, if I expect a national championship season, and a national championship season happens (as perceived), then (NC season - NC season) = 0 satisfaction.
By my equation, satisfaction would be 1.
On the other hand, if I expect 0-12 and it happens, my satisfaction would still be 1, so my formula isn't perfect either.
