Sherrone Moore, first black man to be Michigan head coach.

A monumental moment in the 144 year history of the Michigan football program. One that took far too long to come but is now here: A black man is the face of the University of Michigan’s most prominent arm.

Celebrate it. Embrace it. But most of all give Coach Moore your full support. He will need it.

Coach Moore is our Henry V now.

Once more unto the breach, gentlemen.

Go Blue.

We have eight home games next year, our toughest road games are Washington and AN Ohio University, the former with a whole new staff/team, and the latter with dubious coaching talent.

Texas at home will be tough. We have a loaded defense, a great RB room, and while the O-line graduated en masse, the new unit has lots of experience playing together.

BPONE be gone.

My Buddy’s son played for Sherrone at CMU and then was on the squad at Iowa for two years. He is a high academic achiever and knows the game of football. He is a smart kid.

Sherrone was his favorite coach he has played for. He says Sherrone is one of the brightest football coaches he has been around and has a demeanor that kids respect.

Lets hope that translates to being a great CEO and recruiter and continuing great things for the program.

We had a little hope for about half a second. Schefter tweeted Fangio was leaving the Dolphins (Harbaugh's DC from Stanford and the 49ers) ... and then finished by saying Fangio was already going to Philly. That would've been a great hire for Harbaugh and for us.

I kind of think so too, but it's also very close. Moore's work with Oline and offense has been invaluable. MacDonald/Minter defense has been extremely fun tho.

Would it really be that difficult to find another guy who runs the same system? You'd think more and more D Coordinators would be moving to this system anyways.

Snag a Ravens DB coach or something lol

I believe that NIL is the most important piece of recruiting now.  Not championships, academics, or where your buddy is going.  And we just handed the keys to the Ferrari to an inexperienced driver, and forced him to drive with one (NIL) hand tied behind his back due to our approach to NIL.  That sounds like a recipe for success. /s

Oh, and his offensive just left.  Sweet.
