| 1 day 20 hours ago | 2017 are you fucking kidding me? |
Yes it is cool that Ross's brother is a player but Jesus H Cripes we are talking about freshman? |
| 3 days 8 hours ago | Obviously the coaches felt differently but |
Cornwall's ability to run made me want him the most. All things being equal, give me the guy that can make things happen with his legs as well as his arm. Not that Speight won't be good but I fear a return to the statues at QB. They say Speight can move a little in the pocket but the margin for error goes way down when I guy isn't nimble enough to evade the rush and buy a few more seconds. |

| 4 days 9 hours ago | I don't think Judge Smails was an Ohio booster |
|
| 5 days 4 hours ago | Yea no one around the Country tunes in for the ND/UM game |
every year. Seriously, there is no way you can spin this that looks good for ND. They backed out of one of the top 10 rivalries in all of college football with consistently huge tv ratings every year so they could play a crappy ACC schedule plus Sparty and Purdue. |
| 6 days 5 hours ago | Too much hand-wringing? |
What else are we supposed to talk about in June? There are only so many sub discussions one can have before the mind starts to wander to future football seasons. |
| 6 days 6 hours ago | I had the same thought. I think I prefer Thomas to Safety |
Safety has been a talent wasteland at UM for the last 10-15 years so I'd love to see a talented duo like Dymonte and Wilson manning the safety spots for a couple years. Peppers can handle the nickel spot for a year before sliding over to one of the starting CB spots. |
| 1 week 9 hours ago | Agreed. Subway is just terrible |
oh and Jared is creepy. |
| 1 week 20 hours ago | Do Pistons fans even care at this point? |
What a turd of a franchise they have become. |
| 1 week 1 day ago | Lets face it Tebow is a terrible QB |
If he wants to ever make any meaningful contributions on the football field he needs to face reality and move to H-back. |
| 1 week 1 day ago | Bouncing |
being the opperative word. |
| 1 week 1 day ago | Insert Obligatory Transfer to Michigan Speculation |
followed by the obligatory response that he is not coming here to backup Gardner. |
| 1 week 5 days ago | I agree with this. I was at the 2001 game with an Ohio fan |
and definitely emboldened their fan base. You have to think it did the same for players, coaches and recruits. Of course there is no way to know for sure, but it was a huge win in the rivalry. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | In terms of football and basketball he is unfortunately correct |
Ohio has been the best if you combine those sports for the last decade. But you don't even need to include academics to conclude UM is better overall, at least this year anyway. UM was just ranked the number one athletic school in the B1G when looking at all men's and women's sports in 2012/13. When you add in academics it is not even a question. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | Are you seriously blaming ESPN/ the media? |
You sound like a Bucknut. Gee should have been fired for the Tressel scandal and his comments on that alone. Nothing could be more of a sign of a sports culture run amok than the President saying he hoped the serial cheater/liar of a coach did not fire him after what should have been thought of as a hugely embarrassing episode. Gee's latest comments, while likely made in jest, simply confirmed what an utter lack of judgment he has. I've never been more sickened than I was while watching 100k fans hail Tressel as a hero in last years game. If that is not a sign that Ohio's priorities are so thoroughly out of whack I don't know what is. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | Maybe. There's many exceptions to HIPPA, however, |
And the players may waive their HIPPA rights in their contracts or CBA when it comes to PEDs. |
| 2 weeks 9 hours ago | Me neither and I dont think that will ever change |
there should be consequesnces for bad journalism and the Freep is the epicenter of bad journalism. |
| 2 weeks 1 day ago | It is a great fit, but there is this overblown notion |
that Ann Arbor will burn like Cedar Village if we schedule Staee for a night game. This may be an actual case of Michigan arrogance thinking that a few thousand Sparties will run roughshod over the city if we play at night. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | Sparty LOL'z |
Its so nice to see the natural order restored off the field. Now we just need to carry it onto the field. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | Well according to rankings |
Meyer out recruited Hoke in his first year at Ohio so I'm not sure how overrated he is. |
| 2 weeks 4 days ago | What was really stupid about Beckman's column |
was that it appeared his goal was to make a broader point about political correctness, which may or may not be a fair point, but why in the world would you choose this situation to make that point when it was clear to everyone in the world and Sergio even admitted that Sergio's comments were MEANT to be hurtfull. Pretty hard to claim political correctness was at work in such a case. |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | Wow- 19 DB's. |
I guess nickelback really is like another starter these days |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | Doyle does seem to be a bit of a flyer offer, but hopefully |
he ends up more like a Novak, Morgan, Levert sleeper than a McLimans, Christian type. |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | Its nice that he wants that, but its not going to happen |
just like Tebow is not going to be a starting NFL QB no matter how much he wants it to be so. |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | Fair enough but in most of those cases I'm assuming |
There would be a more obvious cause of death that was related to the elements like cold, drowning, lack of food or water, infection, falling from heights, etc. it doesn't sound like any of those were at play here. |
| 2 weeks 6 days ago | Honest question: what about this story is "common"? |
Wandering off into the woods after calling people to tell them you were I trouble and then being found dead with no signs of trauma? How is any of that common? |
| 3 weeks 3 hours ago | Nice work. The talent on both OL and DL really stands out |
as does the overall trend upwards.
Future's so bright, I gotta wear shades. |
| 3 weeks 10 hours ago | So you are saying that having to sit out a whole year |
as a senior is less of a punishment than not sitting out at all? |
| 3 weeks 10 hours ago | I loves me some ND shadenfreude like everyone else, BUT |
they still have 1 more healthy scholarship QB than we do at this moment. Our QB situation is beyond scary thin. I still can't beleive we did not sign a QB in the 2012 class. And yes I know they tried with a few guys, but it seems like they could have signed a 3 star sleeper type late in the process. Thankfully that is about the only recruiting criticism I can can come up with as this staff have been recruiting rock stars. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | You forgot to mention the most obvious ACC target |
in Georgia Tech. Atlanta market, good academics, not central to ACC and already not in same conference as in-state rival. |
