Wow.  Somebody really did not like what was happening with Michigan basketball.  We are moving on all of this at a speed that Michigan simply does not move at.

How did he already put in work? The collective went to work for a coach they liked and wanted. Its ok to say that. Its obvious that Juwan was not really liked at UM and part of that I BELIEVE  is two fold: He wasn't Beilein and he his poor decision making with regard to his emotions. The only thing that was going to overshadow those things were winning big time but that comes with support and he didn't get the way May is getting in coming in the door.

There is another aspect to it, which is that Howard just didn't seem that engaged in PR in general, whether it was giving the media access or doing fundraising events.

I'm sure some of that stuff is annoying and I could see why a fabulously wealthy ex-NBA star might not want to do it ... but it's part of being a college head coach.

Gave $25. If the Big House crowd all gave the same = $2.5 million. Also, while more of a CFB fan, seems even a modest increase in NIL to get just 1 or 2 more guys than otherwise would make a big impact.

I understand why people wouldn't want to give $$ to players already getting paid, instead of using it for their own families. But I see $25 as well worth it if it makes watching the basketball season and March Madness more enjoyable. Seems better use of $25 than going to the movie theatre.

That's the tough part, you tell me my $25 will be matched by everyone in the Big House and with a decent confidence that it will lead to a better season,  I would be in. I know Kansas didn't likely crowdsource the Hunter Dickinson thing, but if they did to pay him... Those people probably want their money back?  Not that I will ever tell a soul what they should / or shouldn't do with their money, I see both sides.
