by purchasing Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Lemonade Five Hour Energy shots. Sure, only a small margin of the proceeds go to breast cancer research, and the energy shots probably cause cancer themselves, but look, it's pink!
|4 weeks 5 hours ago||But are you aware of the VERY SOLID rumor||
about James Earl Jones taking over as the radio voice of Michigan football? I love you, Brandstatter, but I want to hear Darth Vader yell "Meeeeeeechigan Touchdown!"
|4 weeks 5 hours ago||A good omen would be more rumors about coaching changes||
and people getting fired.
Going forward, can we have only rumors on the board today?
I'm hearing something about John Harbaugh already being signed on as the next head coach with Jim Harbaugh as the QBs Coach/OC and Mr. T as the DC...my sources are really, really solid. Really.

Shane was out there for one additional play after the hit, correct? It's the medical staff's responsibility to assess who can and can't play based on potential injuries. I think it was reasonable for Hoke to believe he could rely on his staff. Clearly, it's terrible that he was allowed back on the field. The fault for that is with the medical staff, not Coach Hoke. Changing the policies of the medical staff, or if need be, firing that staff, seems more reasonable than firing Hoke unless we can say for sure Coach Hoke overrided the medical staff's decision to keep Morris off the field. Protest the medical staff, and Dave Brandon, too, but leave Hoke out of it. Coach Hoke's record is enough to merit losing his job in the eye's of many, but to include such a chant like the Harbaugh chant only trivializes and disrespects the primary cause of the protest: Shane Morris' well-being being further jeopardized by remaining in the game.
I hope I'm not accused of being a troll for politely sharing my opinion on this heated issue.

can I get a verification that Michigan's offense failed to make it into the redzone during the game? That would be the second straight game. Considering we just hired a new OC to correct our offensive woes, I think that explains all the torches and pitchforks.

I think Justin Fargas (Antonio Fargas' son a.k.a. Huggy Bear) is my whole equation. He left Michigan for USC. Now, let's hope we take Ty Issac from them. I was really pulling for him to go Blue and was sad to see him go to the dark side that is USC.
|24 weeks 1 day ago||Hey, we lost Huggy Bear's kid to USC a decade or so ago, due to||
transfer. It's time for Michigan to take a RB back from them. It's college football Hammurabi's code. Eye for an eye and running back for a running back, I say!

Why didn't someone at FSU tell him about the glory that is chinese buffet crab legs? You can have as many as you want, Jameis, and unlimited lemon butter sauce, too!

why Michigan didn't at least put up a fight. I'm curious if Nike has other colors trademarked, like North Carolina's Carolina Blue, for instance.
|27 weeks 2 days ago||If not Nike,||
then British Knights.
|27 weeks 2 days ago||Ah, you're right.||
But, when we DID start donning Adidas, we had two losing seasons in a row and got in hot water with the NCAA for extra practice. My theory still stands.
|27 weeks 2 days ago||I guess I didn't state it directly||
but in attributing Michigan's pre-2007 success to Nike, I was pulling for a return to Nike and their trademarked Maize. Nike = wins, B1G championships, and Rose Bowls, obvs. Plus, their uniformz aren't as bad as Adidas (not saying I'm a fan of them or anything).
|27 weeks 2 days ago||Please, bring maize back.||
I hate "sun." And how has the team done since we signed the Adidas deal anyway? I believe the contract was signed less than two months before App. St. I think it's safe to conclude our football woes are the fault of Adidas. Last time we wore Nike, we played in the Rose Bowl and the game before that we were possibly a personal foul away from playing in the Title game.
Think about it.

|28 weeks 3 days ago||I don't see why he had to give a reason at all||
for Gibbons' dismissal. It's hard for me to believe Coach Hoke meant to conceal the truth, but when your head coach states a lie perceived to protect an alleged rapist, he's going to be heavily scrutinized at the very least. I think it only makes matters worse if the university instructed him to state what he did. Whether the university acted correctly, the media could skewer it for this.

Add a "presented by Coke Zero." I wonder how much it costs to sponsor the David Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's trash can? Would it be the "Toasted Yostie's Dave Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's Trash Can" or the "Dave Brandon's Cornerback Coach's Office's Toasted Yostie's Trash Can?"
|35 weeks 14 hours ago||Wow, I was at two of the last three.||
And that's only going to a Michigan basketball game once every two or three years. I'm taking full credit and will begin attending more games all for your benefit. You're welcome.
|41 weeks 5 days ago||My dad called me after hearing on local sports radio||
about how terribly the the press conference went. I watched the press conference online here in Texas and didn't get any of the vibe being discussed in Michigan. There was a quick introduction by Hoke, a basic "Thanks to my family," and "Michigan is awesome." from Nuss followed by a short Q and A. Short and sweet. Did they interrupt the local channels to broadcast it or something? The bottom line, if you're a member of the media who doesn't think its newsworthy, don't report on it.

but I have an overwhelming feeling of awe for this team, especially for Gardner, for how hard it fought on the field today. I think of the final scene from Friday Night Lights, where the player comes up a yard short of a game-winning touchdown...heartbreaking but inspiring. Thank you, Team 134. Already looking forward to Team 135. Go Blue!
