This will be the thread for hot takes regarding the offense and offensive playcalling.

JJ doesn’t have the touch on his short throws. He throws a fastball when he only needs a change up. Very similar to Shane Morris. The tools are there just need more refining. As for next week he is going to have to hit some throws but the game plan won’t be revolved around him. Need plays like Cade made last year. His mid/deep balls allowed for a lot of what H2 did last year.

Down a ton of contributors, the players were put in position to win plenty of times.

Corum fumble, Anthony failing again to make a play, Gash drop, McCarthy happy feet and poor decision-making, etc.

Need at least a healthy Edwards next week.

I expect a lot of guys back in the lineup next week.  This was a game Michigan could have lost and still achieved its goals.  Nevertheless, JJ was awful today.  Way too many individuals not making plays when they there were there to make.  Great catch by Wilson to move the chains and good for you Gash for converting that huge 4th down after a huge drop.

If they burned another down on a run play to a fifth string RB, I was going to throw my phone thru my tv.  WTF is going on with the playcalling?  Way too conservative until you decide to throw a pass on 3rd and 5 with no timeouts with the best kicker in America.  Y'all need to clean this shit up this week.

I realize this is an emotional take but it is just a bad take. Once Corum went out of the game, our offense changed. I am not about to say there isn’t somE criticism to give but it is pretty tough to run an offense when you 1st, 2nd and 3rd string running backs are out. One thing I would say for sure is get the ball to our playmakers once Corum goes out. Surely we have plays that can gain positive yards instead of giving the ball to Gash on first down. Gash did make one of the plays of the game with his 4th down catch. I am just really happy we pulled out the W and better yet Moody makes the game winner in his last game at the Big House. One game left to win the B1G 10. Go Blue!

“All our QBs since Rudock have regressed”?  Gracious.  Cade beat OSU, slaughtered Iowa in the Big Ten Championship game, and got us to the playoff. JJ is undefeated as a starter.  We are 11-0. Again, no interceptions today.  Perfect?  No.  But the idea of all QBs regressing is ridiculous, in my humble opinion.
