it's getting better

It's not that Denard Robinson is worth $1000000/yr.
It's that Denard Robinson at UM in Stadium built in 192_, with fans cultivated over generations, on TV contracts built by years of growing interest, etc., etc. is worth so much money.
Denard's athletic capabilities are very entertaining to be sure. But, the market for his exploits is based on everything that has made college football what it is today.

Sounds like Urban at OSU is helping us weed out lousy candidates.
|1 week 3 days ago||right||
You have ~150 pts in 2 days on the board. At this rate, you'll pass him in no time given the apparent lack of outside (i.e. things related to having a life) distractions.

has to be the tagline.
Maybe followed by, "and Jim's hungry. So finish up."

Surprised this banner lasted this long

So, Harbaugh doesn't want to rub salt in Hoke's multi-million dollar wounds
And, he'd rather spurn Michigan and all those concerned with Michigan in his life and not take the post of Michigan head coach that he would otherwise be interested in
CBSSports is a fucking idiot!

|2 weeks 2 days ago||swim lanes||
Hackett has swim lanes corresponding to timeframes for UM and the prospective coaches.
Do you think he has a swim lane for the average mgoblogger?
Would "time to ejaculation" be a better analogy?

should be better thought out

that's that then (if true)

We're bargain shopping for a coach now?

OL: They should be pretty good next year. Everyone back with a lot of collective experience. Running game quite encouraging recently. The ability to get short yardage in recent weeks is a real blast from the past. They should be able to improve pass pro. Against OSU, 97 is one of best DE in country going against Fresh LT - They were certainly better than last year and seemed to improve within the year.
RB: They should be pretty good next year. Really like DJohnson behind this line already, and the additions of Green and USC transfer should make them quite potent behind this OL. Also, really loved the FB play at the end of season.
TE: They should be pretty good with Butt back, though uncertain depth.
WR: Very uncertain group. Assuming Funchess gone, no real track record from anyone. Though with plenty of bodies and with an improved running game, they could be serviceable if a QB emerges.
QB: Quality of play here will obviously be worth several games in the W-L column. Any coaches with track record of developing QBs?
DL: They should be pretty good. Lot of experienced bodies with decent record of production coming back. Still waiting for elite pass rusher - likely to be waiting for a while it seems.
LB: They should be pretty good. Likely starting 3 seniors who have been pretty good if not great. Some of the back-ups seem like they will be decent too - McCray, Gedeon,
CB: Hopefully, J Lewis and Peppers will be awesome pair - please no injuries. Uncertain depth it seems.
Safety: Uncertain quality. More experience than this year, but uncertain quality and depth.
Special teams: They sucked balls this year. Hopefully, change in coaching philosophy can see quick turn around.
If we can not be turn over machine and otherwise shoot ourselves in the foot multiple times every game, we should be solid if not great. Actually see comparisons to Hoke's first year when we were successful somehow by not fucking up constantly - how did that happen?

Hopefully, they get busy unlearning all the not development tips they've picked up over the last 4 years

It's this part that drives home the point:
"The performance part ... is ... 5-6 credits of the ... schedule."
I don't think he was advocating that they shouldn't take any classes and just play football. But, I agree it is very reasonable to give them some credits for playing football given the work put in that undoubtedly teaches them skills to be successful in many future pursuits.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||take it if you can get it||
Pretty sweet deal to earn $600K for an indefinite period until the new guy is hired. And, oh yeah, you're charged with hiring the new guy.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||Really?||
I doubt they'll name the new AD on the podcast.
Probably a press conference

Let's see him establish himself as a coach before we talk about bringing him here
