Evening March Madness Thread

Mates,

Our earlier March Madness thread is getting a little long and in danger of falling off the main page (which it will with this OP).  We still have 4 more games to go in addition to the 4 that are on-going.  I note that the Vermont Catamounts are giving doooook a good game, Nebraska is down by 18, and that Purdue is likely to make it out of the first round.

Anyway, happy Friday, happy March Madness.

and a b.s. foul call on a loose ball on vermont, followed by a moving pick shielding a 3 by dook.  must be nice to not have to worry about those silly basketball rules.

Nebraska - looks like they will remain 0-for-their-history in NCAA games.

Oakland's win yesterday meant that all 7 D-1 Michigan teams have won a Round of 64 or beyond NCAA game* at some point.  Michigan is the only state with more than 4 D-1 schools where 100% of the schools can say that.

* They did win a 16 v 16 play-in game in the 2000s.

Big ten is so mediocre. Purdue might be good but against grambling who had no size, seemed too difficult a hill for them to climb. We'll see.

And we were 19 pegs below every other team in conference. Yeesh
