6 weeks 1 day ago	I remember a poor sole trying to protect his car	He was probably my current age but I just remember him as an older guy.  I always assumed he parked on South U before the game with no clue of the storm that was coming.  He tried to defend his car from the mass crowd and it actually made it worse for him.  I didn't see a car flipped but I remember people walking on his car like it was a doormat to the street on the other side.  If you are going to the Diag tomorrow night ..... don't park anywhere near the Diag!

17 weeks 3 days ago	Spud Webb didn't do so bad either	but you don't go looking for a 5'6" point guard.  I don't think it's stupid.  It's reality.  There are not many really good point guards in the NBA that are 6' or under.  It's one thing to be Burke size in college but a very different thing to be that size in the NBA when the guy guarding you is 6'4" and just as quick as you are. Having said that, I do believe that Trey has starting NBA point guard potential.  It's just not top 5 pick potential.  17th seems about right to me.
17 weeks 5 days ago	At one time Michigan had 6 QB's in the NFL	Harbaugh Elvis Grbac Todd Collins Scott Dreisbach Brian Greise Tom Brady At least 3 maybe even 4 were starting at the same time. (Harbaugh, Grbac, Greise, and Brady) Dreisbach was a legit bench warmer but Collins saw a lot of action for a backup.

Spring game was there a few years back	and that was the most people I have seen there .... and everyone had a seat.  The field is dug down which makes it great to watch no matter where you are.  There is a patio area which draws lots of fans that want to mingle during the game and I think that keeps the bleachers from getting packed.  Student section is impressive.  They do a "out" theme for every game (black out, halloween out, xmas out, etc) and tonight they are going traditional school colors Blue and Gold.  First 1,000 fans get a rally towel!  Go Hornets! http://thesalinepost.com/content/d1-regional-football-championship-saline-vs-cass-tech

35 weeks 2 days ago	It's a Big 10 school.	A school going thru chaos.  PSU kicking game is a disaster and this makes it even worse.  I'm interested and it's worthy. I get a kick out of fans that screw around on a fan message board then act like they are too busy to waste time reading a thread that isn't worthy.
35 weeks 4 days ago	Honestly us locals don't go downtown to watch games	And the kids well you know they are kind of watching games but also kind of trying to hook up so they like the skeeps and bw's vibe.  If I had to go downtown to watch a game then it would be the Arena but mainly cause I'm a psuedo regular from few years back.  It has odd angles to the tv's for watching games.  Must be because the way it's built.  Certain areas are terrible for watching.  And the tv's above the bar are too high.  You will have a kink in your neck if you sit there and watch a 3 hour game. Bw's in Ypsi is actually better for watching games.  It gets packed but it's a good crowd and doesn't have the college kids. Been hanging at Westside's lately.  It's a very confortable true sports bar.

38 weeks 4 days ago	Bad Move	Just my opinion of course, but last things Lions need is a top DOLLAR running back in a long term deal.  Sucking up the cap they could spend on positions that need legit upgrades.  MJD is a great back but Lions don't need a great back ..... not at that price. It would be a big mistake and one thing I have to say about Lions current management is that they don't seem to make big mistakes.  I'd be surprised if they went after MJD unless the price tag isn't what I'm expecting it would be.

41 weeks 2 days ago	I've always heard that it's because of the auto plants	Euchre is quick to play ..... when you have experienced players.  It was/is perfect for the short breaks the line workers take. I was in the service and Spades was the dominate game.  If you saw a euchre game you knew that those guys/gays were from Michigan or Ohio.

43 weeks 2 days ago	I'm guessing you are fairly new to the message boards or	you have spent most of your time just on this board ...... cause the PSU fans from the Lloyd era were totally batpoop crazy!  Lloyd was handing JoePa his lunch all blended up in a liquid cause that's the only way JoePa could swallow it ..... and the PSU fans just could not deal with it.  They cried constantly about the refs and they had this big conspiracy thing going where the refs had ties to Michigan and yada, yada, yada.  The Big Ten and ESPN and The Unitied Nations all had it in to bring down PSU so the fix was in for Michigan to win.  There was a period of a few years where the combined scores of the UM PSU games was like 135 - 30 or something stupid like that.  When ever somebody threw that up on the board you could almost hear the PSU fans screaming as they jumped out their office building windows.
