TCU being a 7.5 point dog as the #4 team going against the #18 team is interesting. By all accounts it seems this may be more of a Pros vs Joes type game which is driving that number up (and it was actually 7 most of the week). Seems the sharper betters may not buy into a TCU team that's had to face some pretty crummy QB's recently. It's a stay away for me personally, but good luck to those who have action on it!

I've been saying it all week: TCU's glorious run ends tomorrow night in Austin. I don't think TCU is awful but they are not the fourth best team in the country and it's going to come to a screeching halt tomorrow. With that said, I don't love giving the hook on the 7. I could see a backdoor cover from a TCU offense that is adept at big plays. I think ML is the play, albeit a juiced up one.

I'll be taking Iowa at home. The spread is even

DraftKings shows the O/U at 35.5 lmao!!

If M goes air wolverine and are successful, it could be 63-10. If long throws go amiss and we go to a running and short passing game I could see 45-13.

Drake nah: 63-10
Drake yeah: 63-6

Very possible but I don't want to over use Blake. I would like to see only 20 carries for 200 yards and not 30+ carries. Save Blake's big number of carries for the last game.

Maryland at Penn St, 3:30pm: Penn St -10
I don't have a take on this one, but for some reason Gordon Lightfoot popped in my mind....

The Penn State Nittany Lions are Smooth Jimmy's Lock of the Week!

Always good when we’re on the same side, Smooth Jimmy!

Gordon made the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald sinking date popular, by his 1976 song. Wow, hard to believe it was 47 years ago yesterday. RIP to all on board.

I'm taking over 49.5 for M-Nebraska. Any other takers?

So far I have:
TCU +7.5
Ole Miss +12
lllinois -6.5
Northwestern +17.5
Indiana +40
Ole Miss +12 seems like a gimmy bet so Bama will probably win by 30!

Indiana might not be a terrible play despite being a terrible team ... snow expected in the 1st half in Columbus
Power ratings I see have the Bama/Ole Miss spread about right ... just depends on how you think Alabama will respond to being all but eliminated from the playoff/SECCG this early

I guess I can be a longhorn fan for one night! Hook 'em horns and get rid of TCU from any chance of getting into the playoffs.
November 12th, 2022 at 8:24 AM ^
I dunno, they're probably our best chance for a 1 SEC playoff.

I am rooting like hell for UConn. Beat Liberty, become bowl eligible, and make our non-conference slate look a little better.
I will bet small on Michigan -30.5. Seems like a ton of points. Bookies might have a notion that JJ will regain his deep ball touch.

I almost bet on Michigan -30.5. I don’t see Nebraska hanging around for long in this one . We shall see.

Just realized my Michigan over 9.5 wins bet will hit today. Easy 💰

I like most of these picks except UConn. They have been winning despite getting outgained most weeks and that may correct itself
I like Texas -7, Florida St -6.5, Navy +17, Louisville +7, West Virginia +8.5, Rutgers +10.5

I like all those picks, with obviously betting one of them. I considered most of those betting myself also. West Virginia and Louisville are a couple of frustrating teams, but I think they have the value at the moment.
