Moron OSU fan forges UM players' signatures to frame them for an NCAA violation

Submitted by buckeyejonross on

Ok, the moment you've all been waiting for, my first ever MGoBoard topic post.

Apparently some moron OSU fan (it wasn't me, I swear) forged (?) Jabril Peppers' and Jared Wangler's autographs on a piece of notebook paper, then went on Twitter claiming he paid them for the autographs. That would be an NCAA violation, if true.

As an OSU fan, I must admit this is something beyond pathetic. I do award bonus points for creativity though. Love this guy's effort. Someone on the OSU support staff should mail him an official Nike sideline polo or something.

Oh dear lord!  I just paid that same twitter guy $5,000 for the entire undefeated 1901 Michigan football team's signatures on the back of a Taco Bell wrapper.  Oh crap, do you guys think that that might be forged too?

I think he accomplished his goal of getting a rise out of people.

Serious question, though, and I've wondered this for awhile.  Jon, you seem like a nice enough guy but why so much interest in a Michigan blog?  Legitimately curious.  I don't have the slightest interest in visiting an Ohio State blog.

I am being 100% honest here:

I hate Michigan with the bloodlust of 1,000 Mongols. I wish your teams no success. I root against you guys in everything you compete in. My hatred of Michigan is as unhealthy as Wolverine Devotee having specific hangar colors for specific shirt colors. Part of my unhealthy obsession/hatred involves checking in on the goings ons of your various teams, and there is no better place to learn about Michigan than this blog. I enjoy reading about Michigan sports. I enjoy it nearly as much as I enjoy reading about OSU sports. I definitely like reading the comments here more than 11W. I also find Brian to be an enjoyable writer. Ace as well.

Plus, how will I know how to properly hate my enemy if I don’t read about them? I enjoy reading about your teams and players. You schemes and strategies. I enjoy reading your community’s perspective on OSU-related things. I especially enjoy reading your boards when you guys are in sports pain. Or when OSU has some sports success and you guys are forced to address it. I enjoy sports debating rivalry topics. I enjoy hate reading certain posters strictly because they’re so wrong all the time. I am petty. I am soooo petty. Super petty. Your sports pain is my sports pleasure. I believe the word for that is schadenfreude. Never forget that, and thanks for having me here.

born into the rivalry, much like many of us were.

I work with 2 OSU fans.  Both are smart, decent, well-educated guys.  I was stunned when I found out they were OSU fans, since neither is married to their sister and both know how to tie their own shoes.

Or at least I assume they do, I've never actually seen them do it.  Come to think of it, I have no way of knowing if they didn't marry their sisters.

You know what?  Fuck those guys.  Couple of degenerates.

If nothing else, your honesty is refreshing lol.  I will say that you play into the stereotype that MIchigan fans have about Ohio State fans but hey, I'm sure we fit into Ohio State fan's stereotypes about Michigan fans.

I look forward to the rivalry reaching a level of intensity and competitiveness it has obviously been lacking for some time.  Golden years ahead, I hope.

Last but not least, death to Ohio State.  Go Blue!
