People that think QB's are in real game situations in the spring game are seriously deluded, the game is more of a fan thing/recruiting tool than anything else. So many false expectations set by the spring games over the years...

4 days 17 hours ago | I believe that Barrett's injury was Orchestrated and Haskins |
...was prepped to step in in case The OSU offense was struggling late in the game. Don Brown had Barrett locked up tight and Meyer knew it, he probably figured that Michigan prepped the D to stop Barrett but not anyone else. When Haskins came in I told my wife that this could be trouble, and it was. That being said I think that any QB they play against us this year is going to have a very difficult time of it, and if we can limit te QB in the Meyer Offense we stand a pretty good chance of winning the game provided we don't make any stupid mistakes. |
4 days 18 hours ago | I had the pleasure of meeting R.Lee Ermey on several occasions.. |
a couple of times at Trade Shows and then at Camp Perry duruing the National Matches on the firing line, commercial row and at the PX. I remember the Marine Corps Rifle Team Drove him down the Viale Range Road in a USMC Wrapped Humvee, and parked it on the Assembly line. Boy did they get their asses chewed out by the RSO, because the only vehicles authorized to use that road are the Shooter Shuttles and the ambulances as well as CMP Staff. The Gunney took all the heat and sheepishly apologized for this transgression. After the Garand Match the line in the hot August sun for people to get him to sign his autograph was 5x as long as the lines for the commemorative T-Shirts and Award Medals. He stayed until the end and made sure everyone who wanted to shake his hand got the chance. I brought my daughters with me to a trade show he was attending back in the early '00's and he took a real liking to my youngest daughter and presented her with one of his Mail Call Challenge Coins, She brought that same coin to the SAFS when she was 13 years old and challenged the Gunny with it. Of course she had to buy him an Iced Tea at the PX. But he remebered giving it to her and she thanked him for all the work he did for Toys For Tots. As I sit here reflecting on my memories of the Gunney I'm sad that America has seen the passing of a person that embodied Esprit de Corp of the U.S Marines. Godspeed Gunny and Hold Hard.

People are a product of their times, beacuse something was the norm in their day doesn't necessarily mean that they were/are evil people and that their actions should not discount any good acts that they might have accomplished. |

To address a situation especially in football, sometimes you just move people around and they'll move on on thier own. If you get the reputation as a hatchet man everyone will fear you and you are less likely to attract great candidates because they might not want to risk thier career on your organizations lack of tolerance for risk. That being said I think Drevno and Pep have been 'reassigned' so that they can move on without losing face.. My inside source said Harbaugh missing on the Greg Roman hire was the only reason he kept him around. Bringing Ed Warnier onboard is the insurance policy for when it comes time for Harbaugh and Drevno to part ways. |

"Well even though we had violent felons on our team it's OK because Grant Perry, Brendan Gibbons, Taylor Lewan amirite?" Unreal to deflect like that... More of the anything to win mentality... |

at SF. Alex Smith was widely regarded as one of the top 10 NFL draft busts before Harbaugh took over the niners. Redemption because of Jim Harbaugh's tutleage not Uban Meyer's development. |

He keeps saying that Harbaugh relishes the underdog role and is reminding everyone who will listen of what he did to Pete Carroll and his Trojans...

6 O-lineman in the class of 2013, only 1 remains.... Sheesh... |
27 weeks 1 day ago | That was on the special teams coach... |
The punter is supposed to look over the formation and if it don't look right take the delay of game and then get the protection right. In the sense that the head coach is ultimately responsible it's Harbaugh's fault. And that's why Baxter's back at USC... |
27 weeks 2 days ago | Yup, Brady Hoke the gift that keeps on giving... |
https://michigan.247sports.com/Season/2013-Football/Commits I can't believe that we missed on virtually every O-lineman we took that year. You guys keep saying bad luck... It don't get any worse than that. |

But I would have taken the delay of game, and then fixed the formation. My conjecture is that's why Baxter 'went' back to USC at the end of the season. That being said, our RB's fail consistently to pick up the blitzer on pass plays. That is directly on the RB coach, we'll see if it gets addressed in the upcoming weeks. And, finally, let's simplify the playbook a bit to get the offense some confidence. stop trying to outsmart the other team and let's get back to what Harbaugh is known for out physicaling the oppositiion. |
27 weeks 4 days ago | Yup. |
And if you're 6'2" and you insist upon standing up infront of the 5'3" lady sitting behind you don't bitch when you're told to sit down because you are blocking out the sun... Common courtesy folks it goes a long way. |

27 weeks 4 days ago | IMHO the Issac fumble... |
was the killer in that game, we were moving the ball, then the fumble and then the MSU touchdown swung the momentum over to them and we didn't start to get it back until the storm blew in which sapped it away again... Just goes to show that you gotta take care of the football.... |
27 weeks 4 days ago | I'm not sure if.... |
Either Hamilton or Drevno were on the sideline during the monsoon, but I'd sure like to know why we wre attempting to pass the football in those conditions... I'm very surprised that Harbaugh didn't override those passing playcalls....
