"It was a privilege," Gardner said Monday night at the Ufer Quarterback Club Banquet in Ann Arbor. "I don't think people understand how much of a privilege it was to not only be a quarterback at Michigan, but just to be a part of this university whether you're a student-athlete or not," "And I knew that as a sophomore in high school. I knew this was a special place."

Are we going to see the Blackfish and the Brotherhood Without Banners again or are they just going to drop them Sopranos style?
|1 week 5 days ago||typo||
Ace, I think I spotted a typo. It says that Syracuse is geting the most buzz to land a 4 star player. I can't think of another school that sounds like Syracuse that is well, good so I'm befuddled as to what you were trying to write. So you should probably edit that because it has to be wrong. Wait, is Robert Washington a basketball player? Lacross perhaps?

If it went to 8 teams you're going to get a couple teams in with 2 losses. No team with 2 losses should have an opportunity for the national championship.

I lived in Paramus through my teens and live about 20 minutes away now. They're the "new money" of North Jersey HS football powers. All of a sudden a few years ago star players who lived nowhere near there started transferring in. It's something Don Bosco has done a lo of as well. PC doing it has drawn more ire though. A lot of people wonder what they're doing and think the shoe has to drop at some point. I think PC doing raised more tempers because Partridge's personality rubbed people the wrong way. With him gone now I'm curious to see if they continue to bring in these outside players as much.

No more favorite characters for me. After Robb and the Red Viper I'm afraid to have a favorite again.

Do you get raided less if you're in a clan? I've been pretty unscathed until about 2 weeks ago. Then when I upgraded to town hall 6 I've been getting raided a lot.

|6 weeks 6 days ago||Matt Damon||
I never thought about the whole jersey thing until i met Matt Damon. I was at the final concert at Giants Stadium before they tore it down. It was Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Baand,(obviously). A friend with knew the head of security got us up fron on the floor. I'm standing there and I notice Matt Damon next to me double fisting. I said hello and shook his hand and decided to leave him alone after that. Not sure how big a fan he was though because at one point he asked me what song was playing and i had to tell him it was Jersey Girl. How does a Bruce fan not know....anyway a friend and his wife come over and are all star struck and get the selfie, etc. My friend is wearing an Eli Manning jersey. I'm making believe i don't know them. After they leave an older woman in Matt's group(I believe the mother in-law) turns to him and says something like "why can't people leave you alone" or something like that. Then Matt says back"Pfft,I know, and what's with the jersey? What does he think he's Eli manning?" That made me think about it. I think wearing one at a game is fine. Right enviroment. Outside of a game, I personally wouldn't but I wouldn't be snooty about it like he was.

Wasn't Costello suppsed to announce soon? I know it was trending away from us but still I thought it was soon.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Glasgow||
Glasgow's got this. I remember reading here the ND Def lineman had good things about Glasgow. When he started at Center for us (2 years ago?) they said that he was the one guy on our line that they had the toughest time with. Frankly, watching the ND linemen push Miller back into Gardner last year I was saying to myself "why isn't Glasgow at center?"
|8 weeks 6 days ago||Frustrating player||
I watched almost all of Sina's games at Seton Hall. He was a frustrating player. He had flashes of a hot hand from distance but they were too infrequent and were outweighed by his bad moments. Turned the ball over WAY too much. Mind numbing passes like hrowing it to a posted up center with 3 guys on him and lo and behold it gets turned over. Also has no shame. He'll keep chucking up shots even if he's 0-10. Plus you have to wonder about a guy who walks out on his teammates in February. Couldn't even see the season through.

I will join your clan but I'm not ready yet. Just started playing after Chrismas. I want to build myself up into a monster free agent and have people begging me to join them. But for now I must stay hidden, away from predators. For I am weak.

Read somewhere that Lovie Smith loves Winston and that was a big factor in hiring his OC. One guy, I forget who wasn't crazy about Jameis and that took him out of contention. Trestman liked him and got the job.

Fox has gotten better lately with Days of Future Past and First Class but they never got the classic team right which should have taken place in the first 3 movies. The classic team of Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Kitty Pryde have yet to be together as an actual team.

The North Jersey parochial powers are overflowing with talent. Don Bosco, St. Joseph's, DePaul, Paramus Catholic, Bergen Catholic and St. Peter's should be visited regularly by any coach worth his salt. If Flood locked those schools up Rutgers would be an annual power. Of course, he's not that great a coach and the bossed ar RU are satisfied with being just ok so the welcome signs are out in NJ.
