Oy USC looks bad early. Chucking shots bc they cant get anywhere near the rim. Tom gets a 7 seed, virtual home game, and a bad 10 seed traveling across most of the country. Imagine that!

This is essentially a 9:15 am PDT start for the Trojans. And, I wonder if many on that team are usually in class at this time.
The MSU vs USC game is the only 7 v 10 matchup today.

USC is in the hood, not close to beach
It’s 14 miles from USC to Santa Monica. I’m sure if an athlete wanted to hang out and study at the beach, finding a ride wouldn’t be an issue.
But I'm guessing most of the team doesn't get close to the classroom either. Matt Leniert famously came back to take a course in Ballroom Dancing his last season.

I'd like to see lots of upsets today. My bracket got trashed yesterday as I had Arizona winning it all. That was dumb. I am dumb. I enjoy it when my bracket gets busted so I can root for chaos in the tourney.

At the USC game. Kept my head on a swivel walking through the tunnel into the main bowl. Had to make sure there were no swinging helmets.

Smart, any sighting of a horse shit coach?
A horse shit coach and even more horse shit fans. I have been called more names so far than I have attending OSU basketball games and living in Columbus all because I am wearing a Michigan sweatshirt. It is funny though when I ask what bowl game they played in this year I can see their minds overheating trying to come up with a retort. These people are truly insufferable.

honestly, i think you deserve it. i think anyone wearing rival garb to a game they are not involved, deserves all the trash talk they get.
That’s fine I would wear Michigan gear regardless given most of my causal wardrobe is Michigan gear. I bought the tickets when they went on sale not knowing who was going to be here. I go to the tournament every year and always wear Michigan shirts.

Green is actually a good color for MSU and especially Izzo. A majority of the time he looks well on his way to taking a s***, albeit one with razor blades in it.

Head on a swivel at USC games usually involves their cheerleaders. But I know what you mean.
I wore a snappy Wolverine and Spartan mixed ensemble to the Final Four in 2009. I said I was Spartan for a day, but truly a Wolverine. Spartan fans generally approved.
I can never root for OSU or MSU. In fact, I would say I experience about 75% of the happiness I do from a Michigan win when one of those teams loses, but more so in football and for OSU.

MSU and USC are sharing a tunnel! There is only one way this can end.
Nice comeback by USC to tie the game up at halftime.
And, in a bit of a surprise - Kennesaw State is tied up with Xavier about half way through the first half.
The thing about Xavier is they're not that good on defense. And they're coached by Sean Miller. The next time he gets his team to play up to expectations in the tournament will be the first in over a decade.

i need to stop watching this msu game. early on usc looked like dogshit and were getting stomped. i went and grabbed lunch and came back to a tie score at half. now watching again, usc has turned back into dogshit.

I remember going to the 2011 Michigan-Uconn football game. I was living in East Lansing at the time. So my roommate was doing an internship for Michigan State's strenth and conditioning program and asked me to meet him at Harper's after the game. State lost that night.....
Point of story is that I only had my Michigan coat on and I turned it inside out to avoid any altercations. I was in the bathroom and the one and only Max Bullough was using the urinal next to me. He asked me what the hell I was doing there. Fortunately, my roommate was able to talk him down. Lesson learned....Ha.
Sounds like the Spartan TV broadcast crew is working the game on CBS. Everytime Izzo cries about a foul (all the time) the announcers agree with him...good lord.

I'm not really a fan of making conclusions about a team's quality based on one tournament game, much less the entire conference's quality. That being said, the P12 is about where it has been for a few years now. One of the lesser power conferences.
