Will still bet cash he ends up at Michigan. Family has more than enough money to pay even if he doesn't get offered. On that note, I guarantee the staff has expressed their interest in him but that they may "need help" getting him in much like what the Mathews family did for Clay at USC. You really love Michigan? Let us use the ships on kids who dont have a wealthy family and pay his way (at least until we have an open ship). He will be a Wolverine, offer or not. |

THIS. usc is always going to be good (or should be) but the decline of UCLA only makes it easier. the state pecking order used to be: USC - 35% roughly. Last 10 years? Drop UCLA down to 1%, up usc to 90% and spread the rest, LOL. |

this. they did this when they werent on limits. kids his age still remember their dominance in the 2000's very much and few care about what previous kids did to hurt the program as long as it doesnt effect them. if you have 15 ships, the only option is to play the "best of the best" card. kids, especially with a major program, will eat that up. would love Cravens here but it is 100% not happening. No inside info, just obvious. Like Isaac in hindsight obvious. |

What really bothers me is that Northern schools have to endure the negatives of the cold with recruiting.Further, we played bowl games for the last 100 years in a warm climate and often against a team so near the bowl game site that its practially a home game. Heck, anytime UCLA makes the Rose Bowl it is a home game againt a team that traveled 1000+ miles. USC is just as close. The Florida hostes bowl games often feature an SEC team, etc. I just dont see how its "unfair" or in any way anything BUT fair to finally have some of those teams play in the weather we do for half the year. I think that is only fair. You get the higher seed, you host the game, cold or not. |

2K did suck until 2K5. However, not only have they always pushed the envelope of realism in their sports games but (more importantly) it gave EA competition. EA knows they are the only game in town and have been this entire gen so they went with the lazy route of using a universal engine for its sports games. It just happens to suit Soccer and Hockey much better than football. I do not understand the issue with simply adding more realistic player models and player movement animations like their other sports titles?!? Forget the lack of features and slow, clunky menus as the gameplay is also below the standard of last gen. Sad considering these consoles are 30x stronger. IMHO, the issue is competition. 2K needs the NCAA/NFL license for nothing more than competition but it might yield better games considering their amazing NBA series (as well as College Hoops 2K8 which I still play with updated rosters). |

preaching to the choir in my case. this gen's EA football games have been beyond atrocious. I still play NCAA 11 on PS2 for my college kick. |

I kept trying to remind people that usc has a great recruiting staff and to not count them out for Isaac. I still thought he would stay close to home but Orgeron, Kiffin Sr and even his spoiled brat son can sell kids on a school. Orgeron is widely seen as the nations best recruiter. Not a huge shock to me when he picked usc but it stings as I wanted him here. Anyway, only time will tell with every player and program. |
