That or Jim Tressel

Tressel is the dark horse candidate

Rick Pitino Jr

hear the agreement is almost done, working on deal. Source is a friend that's always been right wrt OSU athletics and others are starting to say it so leaks must be happening.

As said already

He's the definition of boom or bust. His size/agility is the only reason he's being recruited because he absolutely isn't a good OL at this moment. He's a project so a generic 3* on size alone. If he learns quick and takes off at IMG the sky is the limit but right now the word is that he's not even the best OL at IMG.

This

No guarantee Odogwu would beat out Runyan but we'd love to have him for depth.

Not really

Faalele will either become a future top-5 pick or never see meaningful playing time. He's possibly the biggest boom/bust player we've ever seen. He is currently a generic 3* because his size is the only reason he's currently set to play at IMG, they have much better OL on the technical side atm.

AFAIK (with no pay subs)

Odogwu is more than likely and Faalele is not only favoring Georgia and Miami more atm but he's absolutely not a guy that would play right away. He's more of a boom/bust guy than Milton, by far.

what happened to

"I'll expose you and get you fired"? What a chud

MSU

better stick with MD or go to a really wild hire wrt system. Nobidy else is coming in, lining the ball up like 90s football and winning at MSU. MD is the best they'll get at that. Could be different if they grabbed a young passing spread guru or something. I dunno, just a strange way of saying they're likely better off with him.

we'll pursue

but I heard he's a heavy Georgia lean atm. Also, the guy is a bigger boom/bust player than Milton. I mean, he's as raw as they come. If he wasn't so massive and so agile while being so massive he'd be a NR-2*. His technique at this moment is junior high level. Room will depend more on his Sr year play.

Ben Mason

Fullback

Did Harbaugh play with

Hinton's father? That would have been around the same time, IIRC (94).

I was 17

Family history and a bad combo of: tons of milk, too much pop/soda and not enough water in my diet. I went from zero warning to the worst pain I've ever felt (to this day) in a split second. I was sitting in a chair and when I stood up - BAM! 0-100 in less than a second. I had no car, only younger brother home. Within 15 mins I was vomiting. He called my mother from work and I went to the hospital for more puking and demorol shots. Spent the night, lithotripsy (sp) 2 days later but I had to return for demorol shots each day until and a few after. The pain after the litho was worse, even with the mountain of vicodin I was given. Threw up for days in horrible pain. To this day I have light bruising on my lower spine from the litho blasting the stone into dust. I live in constant fear of another sneak attack lol. I've been a gallon a day water drinker since and I cut the soda down to very rarely. I've passed two small ones since but nothing too bad. One was a damn razorblade! It looked like a tiny snowflake - mostly flat - but it was sharp on the edges. The body is fd up. Good luck, man.

Firefox is the new IE

In fact, IE is now better than Firefox, IMO. I used to use different variations of Firefox but it's not what it used to be. I now use Chrome with a bunch of add-ons and it is a lot like old FF and I mix it with various others like Tor, USBuin, etc.

Agree

I was very surprised he wasn't drafted. He seemed like a sure 5-7 rounder to me but nothing is sure in those rounds so....

He always seemed like a 4th-5th rounder

Not a great blocker and not in the "big, fast WR" TE mold. He's more of a consistent route runner and receiving TE. I think he fell no more than a round.

I feel "meh" but

time will tell

Kalis wouldn't have been drafted

if it were 20 rounds. He'll get a shot and get cut. Smith *may* sneak on as an athletic FB type. Mags, Strib and Thomas will play somewhere.

ughhh

ughhh

Oh, yeah

Perry to Cinci hurt a bit. Edwards to Cleveland was also not ideal.

Same

JP to Cleveland is so bad because they don't care about winning AND half the fans will always hate him. He'd have to win MVPs to win over those OSU chuds that hate him to hate him. They always will.

Probably this year

JP to Cleveland is a sad twist of fate and Ive always hated the Cowboys. I try to get traded if I'm JP and I'm not even kidding. Half the fans already hate him and he'll get blamed for anything that goes wrong for them. Manziel will have been treated better when it's all said and done, success or none.

WOW

Cleveland lmao. Great pick for so many reasons.

Test won't hurt him at all

Trust me. The early run on offensive skill positions pushed late 1st defensive guys to 2nd. He'll go 2nd dor sure, if not Pitt in the 1st.

in short

feels like Pitt or bust

Not in the 1st as of the early run on skill pos

it was apparent by the 11th pick that a lot of 1st rated defensive guys would fall. He was already a back-end 1st guy anyway. Both he and Taco go 2nd round. JP in the 1st would have to be a team looking for a defensive athlete more than specific need anywhere. I don't see it anywhere but Pitt and MAYBE Raiders. We'll possibly have 4 guys in the 2nd tomorrow.

Few things in order

Grass, being able to bring in giant flags and such, troughs (kinda)

Always held this view

it's a much more common act than people think. Suicide has been an honor duty in almost every major culture, on top of peoplw doing it for reasons of escape. I also hate when people call it "cowardly". Like, really? Bringing upon the thing every human fears most is cowardly? A kamikaze pilot is a coward? That dude that jumped from the burning tower is a coward? Etc. Society has a really skewed view of suicide, IMO. The act sucks! I don't like to hear about people doing it in a dumb revenge act or similar but it's not cowardly. It's rarely brave but it's just as rarely a cowardly act.

Here is the likely deal

He gets off of a double murder rap to still find hinself in prison for life. Ok, what about an appeal on the origional murder charge? Nah. Dude likely has a very limited amount of assets left and he decided to choose between using them on a defense that wouldn't work or having something to leave his family. If he's dead they can't take shit in a civil suit of any kind because it's no longer his but whoever inherits it. Dude chose between leaving eveyone broke as he sits in a 10x10 cell until death OR having something to pass on and not spending the next 50-70 years in a cell. I think it's that simple. That or he truly hated himself/felt remors. It never appeared that was the case but ya never know.

DTR been a UCLA lock

for months now. When Fisch went there so did he.

app edit

*nosedive to lose the job

2.0?

more like .75

I'd almost guarantee Peters starts next year

Cold. I know but I'd bet money on it. This year? Speight would have to really take a nosedive job. The reality is Speight was the best QB out of O'Korn, Morris, Malzone and himself last year. That's not saying much. He's never going to be an NFL QB. He's just not. Peters will surpass him in 2018 but Speight has the job until he gives it away in 2017. Remember to take very little from a Spring Game. Each side has a garbage OL, pressure in their faces within 2 seconds and often WR/TE targets they aren't used to throwing to in practice. People are looking way too much into a glorified, light scrimmage.

Be surprised if not

UCLA. Very surprised based on what I've heard.

A Miami lock

for a while now

They were never a package deal

Jordan was going Miami for a while (wore a few Miami items on his visit, btw). UCLA still the leader for DTR, AFAIK. If not for his mother he'd likely already be a verbal to UCLA. He was gone when Fisch left.

8-4

Much better next year IMO

I agree now and last year

he is who he is and that's an above-average QB on a good day, pretty brutal on a bad one. That's still likely good enough to keep the 2017 job.

Yes

in street/team gear clothes

I thought ankle

On reply it appeared to be ankle area and a friend at the game said you could see something give above the ankle in live action. We'll see but I agree that it looks bad. Like "may miss 2017" bad.

Not calling for Peters quite yet

and it's hard to take anything from a Spring Game but he looked exactly like 2016 Speight. He lost weight, sure. Yet, that won't help him read a basic defense. He still breaks the huddle knowing who his target is and triple coverage be damned he's going to that guy 90% of the time. I think he's likely topped out. Can it keep the job in 2017? I think so. 2018? No.

41,000

Maize and a player we'll like for something other than a play because it'll be an ugly game due to bad OL play and the DL starters getting the Peppers treatment from last year (one or two series).

When it comes to Star Wars

consider me an extra RLM employee. Rogue One was better than expected but still not that good. Force Awakens was a boring copy of New Hope. I'd appreciate a brand new story within the universe, tbh. They've milked this one dry wrt movies. Star Wars is going to murder itself with a new movie every year for the next hundred years - watch.

written by the SEC

in painfully obvious manner

So Gant is basically off the board, right?

Heard he was basically down to ND and UM. Now it seems to be OSU and ND. Been around the area for a while and the kid is really really good. I can't imagine there is a better OLB in the Midwest.

With Asasi gone

sad face

Yeah

I'd obviously wish them luck but neither are NBA players right now. Not even quality bench guys, IMO. Wagner would likely go late 1 or early 2 but that's nowhere near a guarantee in the NBA. That's "I want one chunk of change in my life" money because it may be all you make from the NBA. Both need another year of development and proving they are who they were in their best moments, something they couldn't do in college. Very surprised to hear this, TBH.

1 - Not sure

2 - A very big deal. 3 - Both

Honestly

a major concern of mine was behavior like this. This Michigan desire to never upset people we hold as "untouchable" and the effects of that. The guy needs to retire or be told to. He's been great! He'll remain a legend here but it's time to move on. This isn't Carr in 2005 or 2007. This is like if Carr turned into a shell of himself and it's now 2043. Time for change.

Same as ever

bad - so very bad - but the same as ever for me.

I didn't think Oregon was that good

and now they're beating KU pretty decently. We seemed to be consistent play away from a real chance of at least a final 4. I dunno?
