I do not believe I have received my scholarship....

Since SHOUGH is pronounced "shuck," I assume MILTON pronounced "meal-town"?

UM would take two this round.
Harbaugh has let it be known UM is taking 2 QB's for 2018 but we are so deep at that position it hardly matters to me who they are. Probably 4 years away from playing.

Do you still think DTR is going to commit to Michigan? Lorenz flipped his CB to UCLA because they didn't hear any indications that Michigan did enough coming out of the visit to change his mind.
I've accepted that he is not going to commit to Michigan.
Tyler Shough is going to be on campus next month.

but I believe DTR goes to UCLA like you

Don't have to read much into Ace's CB for Milton--Ace also put in a CB for DTR to UCLA.

I am a Joe Milton fan.
First off, he would be our third straight "Great College QB Name" recruit. Can't undersell how important that is.
Secondly, He's a perfect fit as a guy who will need two years, minimum, to be ready-- which fits our timeline for a QB pretty well.
Thirdly, he reminds me of Jim Harbaugh. Seriously, my first impression was, "Holy crap, that's skinny Jim Harbaugh." The throwing motion isn't a perfect match, but the way he moves around the pocket, keeping his eyes down the field and shoulders square... it's uncanny.
So, yeah, sign me up for Joe Milton, Michigan QB.
This kid has a cannon for an arm as well. Take that, plus like you said the way he keeps his eyes downfield while moving well in the pocket. Give Harbaugh a 2-3 years to work on the rest with him and he could be a scary good college QB.

It's Shough
It's a Slough News Day.
Michigan is going to take two QB's this class because they have to. O'Korn is graduating, Malzone is likely to move on after this year, and there is a possibility Speight does as well. That would leave Peters and McCaffrey as the only two scholarship QB's on the roster. Shough and Milton would be a really nice haul.
Why would Speight be "moving on"?
Not likely.
I assume they mean leaving early as a first round pick after winning the national title this year.
OR depending on how legit this QB competition is, maybe he loses his job to Peters?
I don't see it happening but ya never know...
Thanks for clarifying...
But Bama has offered 19 QB's this cycle so is it really that valuable? If it were a running back that'd be a totally different story.

Makes sense. Pretty sure DTR is UCLA bound.
All we need now is a "Fuck Michigan" from Milton to seal the deal....
that he finds paradise in Ann Arbor.
Hope you had the pleasure of taking Ralph Williams' course on Milton.
Also, your comment is why I love MGoBlog.
I learned everything I need to know about Milton from Professor Dave Jennings of Faber College.
How about another movie reference. Name this movie:
Don't write this down, but I find Milton probably... as boring as you find Milton. Mrs. Milton found him boring, too. He's a little bit long-winded... he doesn't translate very well into our generation, and his jokes are terrible.EDIT: beaten to the punch by 6 minutes, d'oh
(I realize that encapsulates my undergraduate career pretty nicely).
to get into a class taught by Ralph Williams or Sidney Fine.
I took several terrific literature classes before moving from LS&A to the B school. Two Great Books classes taught by Robert Wallin, and an English class subtitled "Visions and Revisions," in which we read and compared pairings of books. The pair of "creation myths" was Paradise Lost and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
All of the Mallory balls keep going to Miami. Interesting
From Aaron Bills' twitter last night. He is the Director of Football Creative for the team. Seemed prophetic and Milton does wear #7 for his HS team. I assume #WIP means work in progress but who knows with acronyms these days.

Love his work. Howeva, that looks more like something you'd see from the esss-eeee-ceee in terms of opening the "vault" for a recruit lol. Might be too heavy for one bagman to carry though!
I prefer this artwork myself:
Apparently it's highly effective.
He would make a great WR.
Did you watch his tape?
His arm is better than DTR's and Shough's. He's incredibly raw, but his talent is off the charts.
I think he is a great athlete and would be a great run-option guy. If Harbaugh decides to go heavy in that direction, I think he would be a good fit. His throwing mechanics are wonky and like you say, he looks raw. He reminds me of Terrelle Pryor.
Uber Athletic
Playmaker
Can extend plays with his legs
Makes things happen when the play breaks down
With his legs
Needs to work on his reads
Decision making is sometimes questionable
May not have as good a command of the offense as you'd like
Saying something that tries to say he's not that smart without saying that
Saying something overly complimentary about atheliticism to make up for it
No this has nothing to do with him being a black QB why would you say that
Terrelle Pryor was a phenomenal college QB.
Joking here. This is too harsh from what was probably a benign comment on your part but you should think about this maybe.
He reminds me of Pryor because he can probably be a good college QB too but like Pryor if his throwing mechanics stay average he'll need another position at the next level.

Pryor didn't have Harbaugh working with him though.
Over-react much? You should think about this, maybe.
