Is there anything in this world more overrated than harrys? Hair gets caught between the blades, and I never got more than 2 shaves out of any blade. This might be ok, except that my face has never burned so badly than after using their stuff. I appreciate the idea, but their quality SUCKS.
Anyone here use dollar shave club? I've heard mixed reviews.

All I know is this: I wouldn't want to play shuffleboard with that guy.

depends on when your age in relation to his accomplishments. I entered 7th grade in 2001-- and this is when I started paying close attention to the program, so My formative memories are ever-so-slightly negative. I am sure if you are older than me by at least 2-3 years, your memories are probably much more positive, especially if you are old enough for the National Championship to have occured during your "pay way too much attention" years.

I understand he agreed with it. I am just saying that it should never have been offered in the first place. Of course, I couldn't care less about the baseball hall of fame (despite being a huge baseball fan) because something called a "Hall of fame" is just a terrible idea. If this were a "Museum of Baseball history", of course he'd be in it, and they would be able to talk about what a jackass he was for betting on baseball.
|1 week 5 days ago||I've always thought that keeping him out of the hall of fame was||
stupid. Instead of acting like the keeping him out of the hall of fame will keep people from remembering him, put him in and talk about how big of an asshole he is.

but wasn't this a bad year for MI football recruits? I thought there was like 7 Players total or something that were B1G caliber recruits. Seems like this could be a reason if true.

I think trade schools are a great resource.
I will say that I hate when people assume that the only usefull degrees are "Engineering" and "Business". I was an English major, and I work a job making just as much as an engineer at the same point in their career-- in fact, my official job title has "Engineer" in it. The one problem I have is that schools have plenty of support to help Business, Finance, Marketing, and engineers find jobs, but have bubkis for anyone else.

I do worry about the fact that people younger than a certain age lack the ability to focus for long periods of time due to technology (STUDY), but that is becomming less and less important anyway. But, as a whole, yeah, life will continue.

Meyer: I am bored, but I am also a robot. Ha ha. 10010010011011... wait, oh my God, I am a robot. I think in binary. I am made of machine parts. I require no sustinance. Do I have a soul? I'd be freaking out right now if my programming allowed for it. Thank goodness it does not.
Dantonio: I am bored, and this makes me angry. Of course, I am angry when not bored. Am I just an angry person? I have all this pent up rage. I mean, there was that incident with the cat and the squirrel.... I mean, that cat had it comming, but that squirrell was a father... wait, I can't think about it now. I don't want that on my mind when answering questions. Just clinch the jaw. That holds in the rage. That's how you seem normal. Stay one step aheah, Marky, that's how you win.
Harbaugh: What? Who said that? Want to fight? I am high on nature's most addictive substance: myself. Cocaine was invented by someone wishing to emulate me, you son of a bitch. PCP ain't got nothing on whats flowing through my veins. It's all the competitive sprits of those who couldn't handle me. I will be strenghtened by your defeat. You may want to throw a few punches, but I'll fight you til the death...oh, you were talking to someone else? I like your competitive fire. Want a job?

1) I don't respect Tom Jackson or Dan Marino as talent evaluators. I respect (or perhaps should say "think highly of") a very small number of pundits who do so. (Daniel Jeremiah, Bill Polian, Jon Gruden... and that's about it).
2) What the crap are you saying? The Elite 11 has absolutly NO value if not for identifying talent. If your defense of Dilfer is that he just seems bad because he's not trying, that's pure BS. Of course it's not 11-on-11 football, just like BP isn't baseball. Scouts still can learn alot about a player in BP, and can identify TALENT based on it: bat speed, swing, even things like how he prepares (is he trying to mash everything? Is he spraying the ball to all fields? is he trying to pull everything?).
3) I think that saying "you can't win if you lose" is a pretty dumb thing to say by anyone's standard.
Look, I agree Trent Dilfer's career is amazing, and can only be viewed as mediocre by comparing him to the impossible scale of elite of the elite. But I have never seen any indication that he can identify talent or do anything but spew nonsense when talking about football. Furthermore, the guy waves his super bowl ring around like it gives him carte blanche to act like he's some great football guru. The dude even acosted Ozzie Newsome at a super bowl reunion for having the audacity to let him leave in free agency.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||This is true||
but he's a terreible analyst. Asking for his opinion about a football game is asking to be slowly choked by plattitudes and some bullshit about "leadership". He might have been a competent, replacement-level player who managed to luck into a super bowl, but he's not some magic QB whisperer or anything. He might be a terrible evaluator of talent.

1998 Chevy lumina. Say what you want, but that thing was a big ass car. I loved that sucker. My brother took over driving and ruined it, because he never kept it clean and weighed 400 LBS. He constantly would throw his full weight back into the seat, which literally broke the welding on the frame.
Of course, I did one worse when I turned in front of someone while I was driving my sister inlaw home from break. Totaled that magnificent bland beast.

and just add that It's more favorable to a dominant WING player. Also, I disagree that MJ would win EVERY title playing in today's NBA. For one, he could be on the Kings and not have a super-high quality roster that could win 50 games without him. Secondly, LeBron, Duncan, and Kobe would have had something to say about how many title he could win. Six in the past dozen years is doable, but I don't know that it is set in stone. Third: the most dominant player the league has ever seen was Bill Russell (though the comparison is a little unfair, since the league was much different then).
