I don't know that I've ever enjoyed a soda more than I enjoyed Live Wire in the summer of 2003.
I also used to chug Diet Pepsi Max when it was still out. Something about the mix of no sugar and high caffiene made it the perfect all-nighter fuel when I was an undergrad.
My all time favorite, though, has to be the Black Cherry Fresca. I can drink a 12-pack in a day, easy, without even thinking.

But the problem with french press is the oils. Not only will the coffee oil give you bad gas (at least it does me) but it also raises your colesterol.

The game was in early Novemeber; I think it may have been in 2005. Anyway, It was cold, rainy, and there was maybe 15 other people there. I rememebr eating some form of emulsified- meat-in-sauce-sandwich, and thanking God for it because it kept me warm.

Why? Are they playing different games?

I see "Senator". Seriously: he's calm, measured, intelligent, and well-spoken. /thinking
OK, so I guess I don't see him as a senator. But he'd have my vote.

I tell you what: I have seen some pretty awful stuff in my life, especially growing up. I still cannot fathom how this man has done what he has done. Everyday he wakes up and continues to accieve a degree from Michigan and a possible career in Basketball is a miracle. Seriously, I can't comprehend how he does it. I hope I get the chance to buy him a meal or a drink or something someday.

The name. It would be one thing to call it "Football academy" or something, but to straight call it "EXPOSURE U" is just... I mean, that's a playa move.

there was this super "hood", super-spindly, white dude who lived next door. I am pretty sure all he did was work at a local gas station, smoke a bunch of weed, and sit on his balcony in a super dingy recliner. Really nice, really funny, and really quiet dude. Anyway, he came over when we were moving in and helped me move in my couch. When he was helping me, he told me that a guy tried using his Wifi and he thought that he was using it to look at child porn. [I have no idea how he knew this].
He said, "Mane, don't be a [insert nickname for Richard here]." The next day, when I logged into my wifi for the first time, one of the networks was "DON'T BE A [insert nickname for Richard here]." It made me chuckle.

and go with Russel.
It would actually be really interesting to see the school set up a production company of its own to manufacture the uniforms and jerseys, and let the students from Art and Design, business, and computer sciences run the whole operation. They could partner with another company to handle other apparel and distribution. Of course, that sort of arrangment might work better at a school with a Textiles department, but I've always wondered how successful this would be.

I agree with your sentiment. The A's are A'ssholes.

Considering the history of the "Little Brother" comment and Michigans Record versus the Spartans since, I think MSU will take the trade-off.

But I would LOVE to play Tennessee. It's amazing how much their history parrallels our for the past 30 years or so ( From our most recent National Champions, even the recent fall of both programs and the recent buzz around the program).

would be SUCH a money maker, I would have to think.
Plus: the only real danger is if, say, team #7 goes 0-fer and just looses all hope of entering the tourney. On the plus side, if team number 8 went undefeated, it seems like it would do as much to boost to them.
My question is: how would this effect the B1G tourney seeding?

Quick question for Brian: if somehow political and supernatural forces combined and offered you the AD job would you take it?

"He's Toby Gerhart, but slower."
Seriously, though, looks like the kind of guy who may not have a Heisman-level ceiling, but has a pretty high floor. I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least a couple of highly-productive years as a split-time back. I am excited.

It is so, so good to watch. 10 years ago, I would have agreed with you. The main reason? There were so few good point gaurds back then. Sure, there was Nash and Kidd and Payton, but after the top five or so, rest of the league was stuck with garbage at the point.
Now? The fact that Ty Lawson probably isn't a top-10 point gaurd says alot about the quality of PG play in the NBA. Now, with a new crop of young, quality bigs (Drummond, Monroe, Nurkic, Gobert, even McGary) and soon the three things required for great NBA basketball will be here: Good Centers, Good PGs, and a few really special scoring wings. The NBA is where it's at.

I did accrue debt getting a relatively useless MA degree (Medieval History). Luckily, I was able to get a graudate assistantship in Instructional design, and now I am a tech writer. I make more money and have pretty good job satisfaction.
Anywhoo: yeah: Med School in the US is too expensive, and it does trash a ton of peoples professional lives.

I have a friend who just got into his 1A choice residency. Any ideas on what to get him? I was thinking whiskey, but if there is something residents present or pass can reccomend, that would be cool.

The reason this system exists is to ensure that Medical Schools can get the kind of students that will keep or improve their status. It also allows a week for students and schools who don't have a match to find one another.
While I am not in medicine, I know about 15 different people who are or have recently gone through the process. I am not sure how this process couldn't be nerve wracking. Having been rejected to all 8 choices for a PhD program, I can tell you that waiting for an a decision can suck no matter the timeline- and that finding out that you were rejected everywhere is bad no matter the system.
The system is more advanced than simply matching people and locations. The math behind it is Nobel Prize quality. Small consolation, I am sure, to those who don't get in.

what I want people to know is that we have the best fight song. By far.
I defy you to listen to the fight song and then do something half assed. It is impossible.

Isn't whether the students should benefit from the millions being generated by the NCAA FB system, but why Milllions are being generated in the first place and who IS benefitting from this?

I think that is Malzone. I could be dead wrong, but Speight just doen't seem to have it. My opinion means less than nothing.
