|2 days 21 hours ago||The colts tried this a couple of years back||
Daniel Adongo may stick around, but I always thought his hips were to narrow for his size and position (3-4 OLB at 6'5", 270). This kid looks a lot more suited to the NFL, but the transition seems hard.
|3 days 17 hours ago||I agree||
I have no problem with Wilton, just a gut feeling that he's just not very good. I also thought he stared his recievers down and I never liked his in-game arm strength- every pass seemed to mosey to it's reciever .
Of course, these things can improve (and I am trying to remember something from more than a year ago, so I could be completely wrong) but I just never really thought he was all that much of a recruit.
|3 days 18 hours ago||Do I like our depth?||
I think I like our depth. Well, everywhere but QB and Kicker, I think our depth is pretty good actually.
Man, if Michigan could have even one of those interchangable mediocre Wisconsic QBs from a few years back, I'd be calling for a 9 or 10 win season as a possibility.
I think that we are about a year away from Malzone being the only QB with a connection to Hoke left on the roster. I would imagine that Morris would transfer if he's passed over, and I just don't believe in Wilton Speight (too old, Borges Oh Noes, and TERRIBLE QB name) as a big-time QB. I'll happily eat crow, but I just think that Malzone, O'Korn, and Gentry are MUCH better options.

For the first three years of her life, my dog Olive was my little white shadow. Even though she was my "wife's" dog, she followed me from room to room every where I went. It used to drive my wife nuts, because she always ate scraps when I was done eating (I also have high body temp, which makes little lap dogs LOVE me). I Then, around a year ago she started following my wife around-- about two weeks before we found out that my wife was pregnant. Through her whole pregancy Olive was less dog and more my wife's personal body gaurd--so protective of my wife that even I was under suspicion.
Ever since we brought my son home (who is three months now) my dog has managed to get less sleep than me or my wife. E-V-E-RY time my son crys, my dog is there. Without fail, more than a couple of minutes of crying and Olive will try to gain access to him in order to make sure everythign is OK.
When my son got sick, Olive would go and make regular inspections of my son until his fever broke. When not performing nursing duties, my dog is sitting in a strategic location watching over the house, and every small noise requires a complete investigation. Safe to say that she is my son's dog now.
Is all of this an excuse why a grown-ass man teared up over a cartoon? Totally.

Now you've stumbled upon a few of my pet peeves: A "doctor" isn't nessecarily a physician. It comes from the latin "Doceo/Docere" (plus the suffix -ter, which signifies an agent noun) and means "teacher." You may have a case against their being called physicians, but a doctor is simply somone who has accieved a terminal degree from an accredited institution. Laywer gets a Juris Doctorate. Most other fields (at least in the US) get a PhD. Optometrists have recived a terminal degree of their very own.
Also: I hate when people say that "irregardless" isn't a word. It is a word. It has been published numerous times and it's meaning is understood. Just because a word is malformed or is generally unnacceptable does not make it a non-word.
I have no problem with your aversion to "Attorney". If I remember correctly, to "attorn" means to turn over legal responsibility. Since that is not all Lawyering is, seems a tad misleading.
Also: language, being a living thing, is quickly making a decision: Data is pretty much a mass noun now. I don't like it, but if I were grading a paper I don't think I'd mark off for it.

That is all.

They look pretty good.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||I dunno||
but you bet there is gonna be a ton of massage oil around.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||This made me laugh so hard||
that I woke up my baby who only slept three hours today because of a growth spurt. Well done.

Grantland sees his success and makes him a 'Godfather' offer to become a national writer for them.

the regional-recruiting thing can be over blown a bit. I think a successful coach will be able to recruit outside of their region. I mean, We've gotten some good players out of the Atlantic region because we had a good recruiter.

Commonly called Addison's disease, it has some potentially dangerous causes (i.e., cancer). Here's hoping for something benign.

we end up with someone not named Harbaugh or Miles. I have a feeling that one of these evenings it will leak out that Michigan is in serious talks with someone (Stoops, Herman, or WILDCARD mystery candidate on the high end; Schiano, Gruden on the low end) and the deal will be announced the following morning. I just think that if Harbaugh gives Hackett a firm "No" then M hires someone in short order.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||I'd be happy||
If the cheesy font of "MGOBLOG" was changed. Sorry, anyone who helped design this, but it looks like something I would have put in a PowerPoint presentation in 6th grade. I am 27.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||Yeah||
Because if there is a good joke, you sure as heck don't hear people telling it.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||I don't get||
how easily people are buying this. If Les Miles is a "young" 61, David Cutcliffe is an acient 60. Seriously, He looks 20 years older than Les. In fact, I am convinced he lies about his age in order to avoid being taken by the sunset squad.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah||
I am going to stop paying attention until real news comes out... of course, I will never know when that is unless I pay constant attention.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Yes||
You are tripping.
Sean Peyton is the NFL coach who wants to coach here. Duh.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Both, Actually||
He started at Wisconsin, but played his last two years at Michigan.

Guess 3: Kevin Sumlin

|13 weeks 2 days ago||Anyone else think||
this is a bit underwhelming for Florida? Maybe I am underestimating the guy, but it feels like they will be back in four years looking for a coach.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||Hackett||
Man, now I want him full time. Intelligent, thoughtful, articulate, and wants to banish Michigan man to the dust bin of history.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||I am not off the ledge||
though I have a spot reserved for the next month and a half.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||Not a bad plan||
I wouldn't mind Mile in the least, I just don't think it will happen (based off of nothing).
Who would be the one to take over? I am only curious because it seems like his staff is generally pretty old.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||OSU Fans want him gone?||
The majority of the OSU Fans I know love having him. And unlike the other coaches you mentioned, Herman has a track record of having VERY good offenses at Iowa State and Rice without any Meyer influence at all. Not saying he's the best coach around, but I do think this is how it plays out.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||That's not even the worst||
I used to spell "Lesson" "Lesion" for some strange reason. I had a professor who used to laugh pretty hard when she came across it.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||Are we sure this didn't happen?||
The way I hear it, it was against Brady Hoke. Keeping to form, Hoke failed to have a full chamber out on the dueling field and Stitt attcked with a faster tempo, which befuddled the hapless Hoke.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||I can't see this happening||
I could see Hoke return in a couple of years as an associate AD, but I think it's far more likely he takes a year off then accepts a MAC job.
