|11 hours 17 min ago||This would be a great idea.||
I have often wanted to make a post asking for advice or tips on finding a job, but I always felt like it wasn't the best place. If I didn't already have a job, I may have done so already.

I am your man. Or, at least, his man. And your's too, random MGoBlogger.

I love their jerseys.
|1 day 13 hours ago||Crap||
I was all ready to place the Halleluja chorus here.
Replacing Mark May with Galloway is like finding out your crabs are cleared up but you now have herpes.
|4 days 9 hours ago||We NEED LBs, DEs, and WRs||
LB's for depth, and we just need an infusion of talent at the other two positions. I just have this feeling that about 3 WRs are going to leave early. While I do think that Charlton/Marshall/Ojemudia/Poggi are going to be a bit better than most think, I really would love to have a couple of edge-terror-beasts.

What did Harbaugh say that set off Swartz so bad?
|4 days 10 hours ago||This Softball team||
just seems like an amazing group of humans. Seriously: They have fun, do their work in the classroom (Perfect APR Scores), and are better at softball than I am at anything. Carol Hutchins is a lifetime coach, and might be the only Spartan I respect this much. Furthermore, she is an excellent human being by all accounts.

1) First, Make a list of things you need for a wedding. Then, find those things at briadal shops. Now go scour the earth for that same thing elsewhere. Anything you can find that is in the same color/style you want but without the word "wedding" on it, it will be 30 per cent cheaper.
2) Pack your wedding meal in a lunch basket. We barely got to eat at the reception, and having a full meal with cake on our wedding night was the second best part of the night.
4) You may not fall under this stereotype, but dude: never make any absolute declarations ("I LOVE" this or "this is terrible!"), because she may have picked it out as the perfect thing. Also: She gets the final say.
5) Good food is what most people will remember about your wedding. Spend extra money there if you are going to splurge.
6) Demand you get ONE thing. I know it sounds selfish, but it shows you are interested and helps you stay involved. Nothing major, mind you. I got to wear wingtip shoes.
7) Be prepared: you will probably have to buy one thing twice. For me, it was a dress. My brother had to re-do all of their engraved invitations for 400 people a week before they were sent out (which actually cost more than the new dress). Just let it slide.
8) Shop around for the wedding photographer. We paid $300 bucks and got about 200 pictures with the rights, and they were fantastic. My brother paid $1200 because he was scared of getting ripped off.
9) Find some way to involve all maternal figures ( hers and yours) in the planning. It makes them feel good, it makes your wife feel connected to your family, and can prevent drama.
10) Not that it's your call, but do the bachelor party weeks ahead of time. Also make sure you bring along someone super responsible who will stay sober. Don't want to make any embarasing mistakes, especially the night before the wedding.

I have never found this guy funny. Like, MAYBE one laugh an episode. I don't know if I am too young or whatever, but I just never got why he was a big deal. It's not that I don't respect the guy on some level, but late night TV in general is so far out of my millieu in general that I can't access the part of me that should give a crap that he's going away.
Of course, he is still better than Jimmy Fallon, a man who is so activly unfunny that I get angry just thinking about it. Like, If I am ever arrested for having a Beautiful-Mind-room, it will have been built to plot the slow, painful death of Jimmy Fallon.

That program should be solid next year, and Countess would go along way toward helping a shakey D.

|2 weeks 16 hours ago||I moved to NW Ohio in third grade||
I was a nerdy, quiet, and new kid with low self esteem due to family issues. The first thing I had to do when I moved to the area was choose a side. I had "cool" kids trying to convince me to choose one side or the other. Our class was very strange: nearly every boy was from a Michigan house, and every girl was an Ohio State fan. I decided that whoever won would win my affection.
I started third grade in 1996.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||She seems great||
It's easy to read into her as an over-bearing mom, but with her son seeming to have no issues with her comming along, it seems like she is just cautious enough to make sure her son goes somewhere he could get EVERYTHING: education and a shot at the NFL.
This position seems amazing, and Ms. Bush seems like the perfect fit.
In related news, this is more proof that Harbaugh Gets It™ .

I have been trying to remember who he reminds me of, and I think I got it: He looks like a skinny Mark Rypien.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||The REAL question is||
How is this going to be funded? Are you telliing me that building an infinite stack of trains is worth bankrupting our country? Is it more important than funding our schools, our social programs, and defending our country?
Furthermore, this sounds like the sort of boondoggle that will be rife with corruption, and poilitical favors that will keep the rich in power and screw over the middle class Joes and Janes trying to scratch out a living
It's people like you that want to destroy this country. HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME, TRAITOR.

This is BAD. I am surprised that the B1G commish didn't take the financial picture into account. And by "I am surprised that the B1G commish didn't take the financial picture into account", I mean #FireDelaney.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||My take on Simmons||
-30 for 30 was a GREAT idea
-Seems to be a good talent-scout (both writers and directors) and is a hands-off kind of guy, which is a great combination for a managing editor.
-Has become a bit of a self-congratualting bunghole, and isn't the writer he used to be.
-Assuming he decides to go solo, his new site will probably be much less successfull than he thinks, though still fairly successful. He'll sell enough ad space to keep the operation afloat for a few years right off the bat.
-Wild guess: he's back at ESPN within 7 years.

the best thread title of all time.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||If we rephrase the question||
to be "What player do you appreciate more after his career than you did during his career?" the answer for me is clearly John Navarre. During his career, I remember thinking he was a bum. Now? He's one of my favorite players who played during my football memory.
2) Jake Long
4) Brandon Graham
5) Chris Perry

I don't know that I've ever enjoyed a soda more than I enjoyed Live Wire in the summer of 2003.
I also used to chug Diet Pepsi Max when it was still out. Something about the mix of no sugar and high caffiene made it the perfect all-nighter fuel when I was an undergrad.
My all time favorite, though, has to be the Black Cherry Fresca. I can drink a 12-pack in a day, easy, without even thinking.
|5 weeks 11 hours ago||I admit, it tastes better||
But the problem with french press is the oils. Not only will the coffee oil give you bad gas (at least it does me) but it also raises your colesterol.

The game was in early Novemeber; I think it may have been in 2005. Anyway, It was cold, rainy, and there was maybe 15 other people there. I rememebr eating some form of emulsified- meat-in-sauce-sandwich, and thanking God for it because it kept me warm.

I see "Senator". Seriously: he's calm, measured, intelligent, and well-spoken. /thinking
OK, so I guess I don't see him as a senator. But he'd have my vote.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||This kid...||
I tell you what: I have seen some pretty awful stuff in my life, especially growing up. I still cannot fathom how this man has done what he has done. Everyday he wakes up and continues to accieve a degree from Michigan and a possible career in Basketball is a miracle. Seriously, I can't comprehend how he does it. I hope I get the chance to buy him a meal or a drink or something someday.
