Children have a lot to teach us, outside of, say, driving a car or having to perform open heart surgery.

That is a cool story!

I like to remember the time we got blown out in a 6U coach pitch baseball game and our head coach sat slumped in the dug out with his head in his hands.  Our best play came running in from shortstop - with a huge smile on his face - and asked if we won.  I said, "yes, we always win!"

Sometimes the learned can learn a lot from children. JJ is wise beyond his years. He is an easy guy to cheer for - and one incredible football player.

Anytime I hear people complain about a younger generation, I always think of things like this and remember not all change is bad.

I coach my twins U7 girls soccer team. We have 3 rules. 1) Have fun 2) try your hardest, 3) don’t use your hands. It’s so gratifying to hear them repeat back the rules to me every week.
