the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

| 2 days 20 hours ago | Dear DB, please, please |
the uniform stripes were not cool to many of us...Do NOT mess up the best helmet in college football history. Just don't. Thanks |
| 4 days 18 hours ago | I don't have a horse in the |
debate about the number 1 jersey. However, I would have no qualms whatsover if it were given to Gallon, for his commitment, his play, his work ethic, his class, and the fact that he has been a Wolverine and will graduate from UM. He is an outstanding football player who has 'performed' in a manner commensurate with what I believe qualfies him for #1. Among many other plays, the wheel-route UTL will always flash in my mind as a quinessential Gallon achievement (with Denard of course). |
| 1 week 1 day ago | Mr. Smith will always be one of my favorite |
Michigan players, due to his toughness, work ethic, and class. A Michigan Man who showed what a Wolverine is and should be. May the Force be with you Mr. Smith, et al. |
| 1 week 1 day ago | Going to wedding rehearsal dinner |
tonight (not mine), with open bar. White Russians on deck. Was going to work on the yard, but rain and 55 deg. is not yardwork friendly. |
| 1 week 2 days ago | I agree with grumbler, |
the fact that a simple, well stated apology seems so elusive to Webber makes me just wish he would fade away. No apology = ambivalence, Apology = integrity, and it is so damn simple to do. |
| 2 weeks 3 days ago | This was the best choice, |
of the logos being considered. It is basic, and CFP is also refreshingly descriptive and base. The other logo contenders were busy and ugly. I really like the logo, and for some reason I can't stop looking at it... |
| 2 weeks 5 days ago | Yeah |
yeah, and yeah. |
| 3 weeks 1 day ago | Someone is taking me out to dinner |
tonight, then cocktails, then...yeah. Tomorrow yard work, painting inside, then more cocktails, and hopefully more...yeah. Sunday, some paperwork, and an early bedtime. |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | Okay, that's a better look, |
still an upgrade, but too much teal on the shoulders. I like the helmet much better than the prior version. |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | As mentioned, it would not |
be the least bit unusual if he did not sign for a month or two with a team. Man, I wish he was in a Lions' uniform. |
| 3 weeks 3 days ago | I think both the Jags and Dolphins |
uniforms are upgrades. But I respect opposing opinions so I'm not going to downvote you. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | Let me know when |
a trip to the Dark Side of the Moon opens up, then I will be interested. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | Don't see this |
as a good thing. I love good Zombie movies/shows like some others, but doing this is pretty dumb in my opinion. Is it so hard to name a realistic apocolytic threat? Like Coach Crean having an episode or something? |
| 3 weeks 5 days ago | Request: |
Desmond Howard horizontal touchdown grab vs ND, with arms extended just prior to the snatch. thanks |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | Everyone, please be very judicioius |
and cautious about feeding into the criticism of Mr. Harris (elder), based on rumor and anything other than personal observation. Drake just committed to UM, and this thread is overly critical of a recruit's father, primarily based on hearsay. Reserve judgment pending more information. I'm afraid this sort of thread could help run an extremely talented recruit in the other direction. Drake is a minor, and has little to no power over his parent/s, and I don't believe its respectful to him to criticize his father, I imagine he has little or no control over his father's decisions. |
| 5 weeks 2 days ago | Back to life as usual, |
and still lamenting the fact that UM was screwed over repeatedly by the officiating. So yes, I do lay blame at the feet of the officiating crew, because I truly believe that there were nearly countless possessions where they tilted the floor against Michigan; to the extent that it was either criminal, or such a rare and collective cesspool of incompetence never before seen in a title game. I am still angry about that, as the Wolverines played with such energy, resilience, and class, but I believe they were actively infringed upon by the refs. I find my opinion supported by numerous other fans, nuetral and fan obervers, the national and local media, etc. Nothing against Louisville, they were a great opponent. It will take me some time to get over my anger and disgust with the officiating. With all variables considered, I truly believe those fools cost us the game. |
| 5 weeks 4 days ago | I truly believe that the refs |
were so poor, so tilted against Michigan, with glaringly obvious examples galore (listen to the Dan Patrick link for emphasis), that the outcome WOULD have been different if they called the game fairly. The Wolverines played with vigor and continued to do so, even after being screwed time and time again by the officials. Burke and the rest of the team took a physical beating thanks to the officials. And why is Pitino allowed to stand six feet on the court; even after he was warned, he walked right back on the court after play resumed. Great season yes. I feel terrible for the players who gave so much to the team, fans and University all year, with such slanted, piss poor officiating that I believe could very well have cost them the game. |
| 5 weeks 4 days ago | Great effort by |
the Wolverines. Sad to see Burke have to exaggerate the effects of the holding, grabbing, cross checking, etc., to urge a foul call. Every time downcourt there were Cardinals fouling the ballhandler. Dan Patrick and Doug (forgot his last name) were commenting today on the horrendous officiating, tilted heavily against Michigan. When the poor officiating could have arguably cost UM the game, I have good reason to be disgusted with them. This team did not deserve that sort of treatment by the refs. Go Blue |
| 5 weeks 4 days ago | This is a special team |
that provided so many moments of excitement throughout the season, ending in a great playoff run to the final. They were so close... I cannot shake the thought that the refs cost Michigan this game. I believe there were too many obvious fouls, no calls, and other problems that were severely skewed against the Wolverines. From goaltending, to Burke's pinning the lay up on the glass, to Burke boxing out and being pancaked from behind, to the refs leaving Hancock on the floor when he should have had five fouls, and called only three at the point when he undercut Burke and assigned the foul to a player a half mile away from the action...Yeah, rebounding, some missed shots...However, I truly believe that if the refs called this game even adequately, UM would have been the victors. It was the worst officiated title game I have ever seen, and for that I am residually frustrated and angry at them. Congratulations to Louisville, and Go Blue! |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | It's a little bit of |
pick your poison to me, but would rather play UNC based on the size issue. Both teams are very well coached and stocked with talent. Either game will be a significant challenge, and I like the way UM is playing right now. Should be very interesting. Go Blue! |
| 8 weeks 3 days ago | DAMNIT!!! |
I feel really bad for him, and for the team. Ryan is a great player and good leader. That really, really sucks. I hope he heals as soon as practicable. |
| 8 weeks 3 days ago | I did not miss |
that boat. I have more self respect than to ask a girl out who I know nothing about other than pics/videos/short interviews , and is half my age. Seems like a nice young woman though. You young guys should go for it. |
| 8 weeks 3 days ago | I like the 'factual' reference piece |
of your post. It is a fact that Obama is a sports enthusiast. He loves to play basketball, and is somewhat athletic for a President, particularly when compared to his predecessors. We have all probably seen video clips of him playing. I see no harm in mentioning his picks; he is the POTUS, and he plays the sport. There is no harm and it is marginally interesting. | 9 weeks 2 days ago | can someone post the front row url for free streaming? |
thanks |

want to watch on ipad. |
| 9 weeks 2 days ago | Go back and look |
at Braden, Kalis, Morris, etc. in the Big House Barbeque pic. Braden is just huge, and I thought he would be a starter at tackle this fall. |
| 9 weeks 3 days ago | Except when talking about |
how he would have walked to Michigan (from SDSU), Hoke is the master of understatement. |
| 9 weeks 5 days ago | Disappointed in the definition of |
"swagger jacker," I'm not sure that appropriately describes Crean. Now "douche bag" on the other hand... |
| 9 weeks 5 days ago | It not only his crimes, |
but his self righteous indignation at being charged for them. He is a piss poor example of a politician, a public servant, and a human being. |
| 10 weeks 1 day ago | Pink pony |
If it were any uglier, it would be cute. I hate those sorts of pink, little kid things, but I appreciate you as a poster, and it is now legendary, so keep it. (pos) bang me, please don't post much and need a point fix |
