Petition to fire Engler
I know petitions do not mean anything but signing made me feel better :-) #FireEngler
If you have been following the news emails have been released where Engler essentially attacks the Nassar victims. I guess the BOT could select someone even worse, but I am not sure how.

Fire Engler - save MSU from themselves.
He'll be gone soon. Two Board members (Mosallam and Bynum) have released statements in the last 4 hours calling for Engler to resign.
When that happens - the end result is inevitable.
He has put a crap ton of cronies in high paying jobs so he may be reluctant to resign. Plus remember that the BOT include Joel Ferguson who makes Engler seem enlightened. Plus some of the other BOT members are knuckleheads. As we have learned never assume anything will be done correctly with the current administration and BOT.
Board members should be swept out too.
"Board of trustees"
Indeed.
You can't have the same folks, who knew exactly what they were getting, still around. The trustees were well aware of his past dealings with sexual assault cases.
Links, Links, Lynx
Copied this from a previous poster. I do not know who.

Inserting URLs for Links
It took some time before I figured out that the way to post links in MGoBlog 3.0 is to (a) copy the URL for the link, (b) click the link icon at the top of the message box, (c) paste the URL in the box and (d) click save. That's how you can insert the link in your post so that it takes just one click to connect to an article or a YouTube video.
Also, if, like I do, you prefer to insert the link into some text like Michigan Marching Band Pregame, so that the lengthy URL doesn't appear in the body of your post, (a) copy the URL for the link, (b) highlight the text where you'd like to insert the link's URL, (c) click the link icon at the top of the message box, (d) paste the URL in the box and (e) click save. The link then should be inserted in the highlighted part of the text.
I figured that out a bit late in my post re: calls for Engler to step down. Now, if you can show me how to edit my OP...
Quoting a few MSU fans on Twitter/Facebook/people I know:
"We're already writing a check for $500 million. Time to move on."
Uhhh... that's exactly how to NOT fix systemic issues that may or may not be embedded culturally at the University. Just writing a check when it happens from time to time is not how you stop sexual assault you dolts.
If you want to have the MSU community turn on Engler, have him coach the MSU hoops team to a series of blowout losses to Michigan and then flame out of the NCAA tournament.
I still prefer this option: Burn it down. Burn it all down.
that's it. i quit. somebody please email me when they get this thing fixed. it was pretty easy to stay away this week. just tried posting an image. i think i messed up somewhere between steps 448 and 461, but i'm just not sure exactly where.
have a good summer you guys.
I've spent so little time here since the reboot that I haven't bothered to try to put an image up.
But "insert image using Imce File Manager" is not encouraging.
I haven’t posted a link, photo or YouTube since the change. BTW, I have been reading the reddit risk posts every day. What I learned from that is the red image you posted means you are a bot.
The sick/twisted part of me wants him to stick around and continue to destroy Staee from the inside.
The better part of me knows that not all Sparties have done anything to deserve this and the victims of all the crimes committed by faculty, administrators and athletes deserve better so kick Fat John to the curb along with the rest of the enablers in the Board and elsewhere.
I have nieces and friends' daughters who attend/will attend MSU. Also, I'm a taxpayer. The situation needs to be fixed.
Also, a lot of people around the country don't know the difference between U-M and MSU, so it's not great for one of the two to be a total tire fire. It's one thing for MSU athletics to take a downturn but we don't want their school to be a mess.
