Something I've noticed is that people who aren't extremely rude, negative, disruptive, or dishonest don't seem to get banned here
If the blog admins are so "sensitive" then why aren't they banning everybody left and right?
The real sensitive ones seem be to those who can't accept that there are consequences for shitty behavior
Also, how do people just keep forgetting you can make a new account? If XM (referring to his kids obviously, not himself ;) wants to come back, he can. There have been people banned her and then come back under other names without getting banned again, unless they continue their BS, like MaizeN and his occasional appearances.

Seems like the easy solution would be to just stop following Ace on Twitter, but I guess its easier for some poeple to come here and complain instead.

Ace is extremely talented and a brilliant writer/communicator. He is also hypersensitive. Those qualities can be complementary as a writer.

Buckeye Jon Ross is pretty level headed, like Chuck. Or am I off base there because I don't follow screen names too closely. I seem to recall he always had good inputs, for a Buckeye.
Yeah, Chuck and JonRoss are OK in my book. I love being able to engage in civil discourse with other fanbases. They both allow such exchanges to happen. I've met my share of absolutely horrendous OSU fans, but I'm sure Chuck and Mr. Ross can share similar sentiments about UM fan interactions.
XM—no one did more to foster real community on the board; and even off the board for many, though I was never able to take him up on it.
WD—second primarily because I do have internet and could obtain the info otherwise; not a fantastic personality like XM, but often brought useful info to light (I much preferred the non-revenue highlight posts to the merch posts, but even those were fun sometimes)
There are probably others whom I thought just lost interest, and who added positively overall, that got hammered. But those are the two I actually "miss."
Yeah, XM fostered community when he repeatedly posted that anyone who questioned crackpot Covid cures was rooting for people to die. Admittedly, that's hyperbole, but he did show an ugly pattern of saying that posters preferred bad news for political reasons if they didn't immediately jump on the bandwagon of every anecdotal "my-babysitter's-aunt-was cured by spreading Ben-Gay on her left elbow" post.

Haven’t been on lately. XM got banned? Why?
In one word: Ace.
In a few more words: Ace took exception to XM's covid takes, but also accused XM of posing as a black man.
I have not been a long time member or poster however, I have read the articles and comments for years.......I never thought or had the impression that XM was Black.
Ace is that online guy who immediate blocks anyone that disagrees with him on any topic Ace decides has been settled by his own opinion. I have big respect for Ace for his health struggles, but little respect for that part of his personality.
Actually, XM was probably my biggest defender. He was my boy. (Possibly why some of you didn't like him?) ;-)
When he left I felt like I lost my bodyguard. But I didn't know he wasn't black, so when I found out (which was after he left) I felt a little put off and definitely didn't feel the same way about the connection we had.
