For the offense, playing…

For the offense, playing complementary football by maintaining drives and having a strong run game will continue to be the 12th man for the defense. It will be interesting to see how Moore and company mold the team.

An important point is Michigan doesn’t have to change their philosophy all that much.

XM- im sure you had a Julian…

XM- im sure you had a Julian pie while in San Diego. Now, that’s a good pie.

Incredible. What an…

Incredible. What an accomplishment for Space X

Second the motion and throw…

Second the motion and throw out the term tuddy, too

I wouldn’t say a ton of…

I wouldn’t say a ton of skill is from the Midwest. The players listed are but MW doesn’t have a high frequency of producing annually

Turn the game, we are up 7,…

Turn the game, we are up 7, 2 mins later Purdue is a small 6-0 run with all points scored down low.

just no movement on offense. Parameter play is atrocious, just spectating

You could of given me 1k…

You could have given me 1k guesses, would not have guess that.

Remember losing my mind when…

Remember losing my mind when he caught that. Like most of us, I was grabbing on to any positive momentum the team would have only to watch it evaporate in October / November

No, but I do know. Who is…

No, but I do know. Who is left? That’s my point: it’s about a head coach that is willing and able to deal with BS that is college football, which is no longer about coaching football

Exactly, why do you think…

Exactly, why do you think Harbaugh is in the NFL?

I don’t think he is over…

I don’t think he is over rated. Reality is he is top 5 college coach now. The talent pool has diminished. Sark won the Big 12 and a birth to the CFP…Texas has to secure him,

compared to Lincoln Riley, Sark is, as of right now, a better coach at playing winning football

Question: why would one have…

Question: why would one have to pay taxes for flying private ?

To add, Michigan in the 3…

To add, Michigan in the 3 years only lost to 1 BIG team. And that game, had many fluke plays to put it mildly. It took being on the road, having the opponent benefit from several big momentum swinging plays to beat us.

Damn- that’s a team for generations to come

One of the best diaries I…

One of the best diaries I have read. It’s seems you are in a good place despite the extreme adversity life threw your way.

Man, it’s hard not to take…

Man, it’s hard not to take it as a spite toward Harbaugh. And the timing and source of this article just reeks.

So let me get this straight,…

So let me get this straight, assume all 18 are drafted and with 6 coaches in the NFL that means there could potentially be 24 coaches/players from Team 144 in the NFL.

im going on a limb and saying that is a record for college team to X many players/coaches in the nfl

Why is that scary? He used…

Why is that scary? He used his talent correctly, unlike some coach down south.

El Prez knows how to make…

El Prez knows how to make money and run a business. Simple as that, he is successful. Appreciate that, remove your ego

Right, go take a lap

Right, go take a lap

I wonder if Julian’s Sayans…

I wonder if Julian’s Sayans decision to attended OSU had to do with familiarity with BOB, and now he is leaving, what impact will these have on Julian ?

Truly enjoyed your reading…

Truly enjoyed your reading your narrative. It allowed me to reflect on my experiences as a Michigan fan, and man, do I have a big ass smile. You hit home when speaking about your kids being incorporated with Michigan; it creates another strong bond amongst your friends and family.

I expect recruits to be more…

I expect recruits to be more comfortable with Moore than JH. The younger staff helped shape the current state of the program, and Moore is one of the main reason. I’m confident he knows how to sell it and speak to its results. We are the defending National Champs.

this program doesn’t need to use the same Cliche from Bob any more. The program has elevated, which is a great thing.

You mention a great point…

You mention a great point about the offense line. When did the oline begin to surge? Well- when Moore took over. What has been a main ingredient for our success? Line play…

I’m aligned with this…

I’m aligned with this sentiment. Young blood helps reinstate with recruits, players and ingenuity. Through in the mentorship of harbaugh, and we may just have a great recipe for success.

im excited

Critical to Moore’s and…

Critical to Moore’s and teams success is full support of Moore. Hopefully we have learned our lesson.

Enjoyed read this thread,…

Enjoyed read this thread, and come to same stance as Wendy. If he Michigan was his no.1, he would have accepted.

the 11th hour is likely not accurate either. That would mean Michigan up until the last hour stated his term were a deal breaker? Find that hard believe. He just wanted to coach in the NFL. That’s simply it

It’s two part for me: first-…

It’s two part for me: first- completely understand Harbaugh wanting to move on, and extremely grateful for what he accomplished at Michigan. I’ll always root for him.

it’s my hope that the program continues to ascend and JH intentionally groomed Moore for this moment. Time will tell…

lastly- the team will be different (not saying in a negative way) but no harbaugh, core plays (too many to list) have departed, mourning the transition but believe the foundation has been set.

I think this will be a rally cry for this team. Everyone will again doubt Michigan, which is a dangerous thing.

Disagree. It’s much harder…

Disagree. It’s much harder to win a Super Bowl. Less than 1% of college football players make the NFL, the talent in the NFL is far superior than college. Think about what you have to game plan every week. you are competing against the very best in coaches and players. The degree of difficulty is much greater.

That was an important play…

That was an important play. Sticking with the playoffs, JJs 3rd down run deep in our territory to pick up the first was the first contraction by the boa constrictor

Damn, it’s going to be hard…

Damn, it’s going to be hard to root for him.

I grew up in Northville, my…

I grew up in Northville, my parents still live in Northville. Vividly remember run awys escaping from the mental institution through the woods.

from a real estate standpoint, it’s great land and will be a great tax generator from the city.

Incredible, nicely done…

Incredible, nicely done. What a damn good team, enjoy every bit of the journal as a life long fan. Nothing better the rewatching big games, reflecting on the stress you felt and now, this team will be removed as the very best at Michigan !

Damn right, share the same…

Damn right, share the same sentiment.

Hahaha. That was good

Hahaha. That was good

Please stop, we are over a…

Please stop, we are over a week removed from the best season in Michigans 144 year history, and we witnessed it. I’m more than sure Harbaugh never intended to leave Michigan in shambles. He has groomed Moore

Very optimistic take but it…

Very optimistic take but it’s clear, he prefers to coach in the NFL. Yes, it will suck to lose him but come on, we are national fucking champs. During Covid, everyone one of us would have made a deal to have won a nation championship, even if I meant Harbaugh returns to the NFL.

he made this program something it hasn’t been a very long time…I respect and appreciate the hell out of him, and will be always rooting for him!

Great point. The compromise…

Great point. The compromise is both sides need to absorb some risk. How that is defined by both parties falls on the university to counter. The spirit of the university having harbaughs back may just be the necessary ingredient.

i like the move by Harbaughs camp to leak the deal points to the public.

Curious if the chargers…

Curious if the chargers posted similar announcements for other coach’s interviews? If not, they could be building fan momentum by foreshadowing JH as coach.

By contract, I’m assuming…

By contract, I’m assuming the entire legally binding documents, not just deal points. But, to not have presented him with an executable agreement, immediately is just flat bad on the administrative staff. Some one within the administration needs to learn how to close a fucking deal, and not assume verbal communication is sufficient.

I still believe it’s JH call on coaching here or the NFL, but that assumes the administration is doing everything they can to make him stay, not failing to prepare a legal document

On-field moment: “the stop”…

On-field moment: “the stop” against Alabama

Anger Moment: back to the Rose Bowl, the offense during the entire 3rd quarter, seemed tight and conservative

suprise player: Josiah Stewart- his improvement was incredible

favorite festure: the board, on the blog everything single day, enjoy reading others comments and opinions.

So many aspects of this blog…

So many aspects of this blog I value, it’s a like a buffet of things Michigan. But the one element that stands out to me is how ur authors and members describe their interactions and emotions for this program.

I enjoy reading post and comments to learn about others experiences.

The last three years have reset the standards of Michigan football. This is the new bench mark, no longer are referencing the past.

the program has been reimaged for the better

My short answer is no…

My short answer is no. Recently having coached 3 years of under 12 pop Warner football, i have seen a tackle or hit that causes an injury that would be considered more severe than playing other sports than football.

our politicians have much bigger problems to solve than restricting pop Warner or tackle football

I’m all for this! Great idea…

I’m all for this! Great idea, appreciate everyone’s efforts to make this happen

Go Blue

What an emotional swing this…

What an emotional swing this game was, microcosm of the year. We get a big jump on them and have a chance to step on them, not once but twice. And do not.

kept assuring myself we are the better team, and finally we pulled away but it wasn’t without some frustration, concern and anxiety.

I’ll take it !

Hell of a diary. I agree…

Hell of a diary. I agree with you, this is (was) the best tream in Michigan history. Magical three seasons that brought so much emotion both expressing and sharing with friends/family.

so damn happy and proud it ended with National champsionship. I’m just damn grateful for the experience as a lifelong fan.

So proud! Thank you

So proud! Thank you

I have a feeling the…

I have a feeling the Michigan vs Everybody shirt will add a new wrinkle; on the back it will say, “and We Won!”

What a fucking journey this team has been on over the last three seasons. Best moments of my fandom, been a fan since 1987.

Go Blue everybody.

Here is my very brief…

Here is my very brief summation:

Ono embraces college football culture and value it brings to the University. His short tenure has produced successful fundraising for the university. Ono considers Harbaugh a friend, which impacts both of their tenure at Michigan.

ono values Harbaugh, our president is pro football and Harbaugh

I, too, am confident heading…

I, too, am confident heading into this game. This team has been waiting for this moment for three seasons, they are built for this !
