The practice uniforms are always different than the regular-game uniforms. Those are the practice uniforms. Also, UM never wears their practice uniforms for regular-season games.

They wore all Maize in the opener against Florida a few years back. Looked good and they played well.
And all Blue in a night game win against PSU when Hoke was coach.

I liked the maize pants on the road, too. But I think it has to do with the uniform sponsors. We are an Air Jordan franchise so we will wear what works for basketball.
Which, btw, didn't change much in basketball itself because the Fab Five days were cool enough to make sure those uni's wouldn't ever change...

All Blue needs to happen especially for a night game. All Maize is ok but not great. I’m one that the only thing you don’t touch is the helmets. Everything else is fair game for a game or two

I think that all maize and all blue should be a one game alternate that they rotate each year. I'd also like to see them rotate the all white with the maize pants.

I would actually have loved a true spring game visible to the public (either in person or televised) and attended them when I was a student. Great timing for event if done well...post March madness, weather gets nice, everyone eager to see the team.
The narrative won’t change until they are not trash. Trash is the baseline for football now. They are trash until they prove they are not. Perception becomes reality.

I don't know why you're getting negged. We lost to MSU at home last year. We were ecstatic over beating Rutgers. We are trash. It's ok to admit that. We won't always be trash and historically we aren't trash, but our team is trash until they play like a respectable team.

The hoop jerseys were pretty frequently mentioned back in the adidas days, particularly those tire track shorts. It's just that the Nike/Jordan jerseys are a simple and classic look, so there aren't really any bold design choices to freak out over.
Yeah, also there have been numerous posts about the basketball all maize jerseys. I also remember one of our Final Four trips where the guys brought back the Fab Five black socks.
On man, what did they call those Adidas atrocities where the lettering on the back was the same damn color as the jersey? You couldn't even read it.
Our Adidas basketball uniforms SUUUUUCKED. And they were crazy low quality--had tons of ripping issues. I had better quality uniforms on my IM team in college.
Someone wanna explain what's going on with the blue pant legs? Is the one leg thing... a thing?
They're compression pants under the jerseys with one leg cut off. Just a personal expression of some sort.

Yeah I just assumed it was the football version of the compression sleeves you see in basketball.
As an old fogey that never gets too much into the Jersey conversation....I kind of like both of these.
