+ 1 for obscure post-hardcore band reference. Although we already have Jehu Chesson in the fold so there's no need for the misspelling... |

How the hell did Hammond get in there? I guess he would be useful for reprising his calls of various Irish-crushing plays like Denard's 87-yard gallop in 2010. "Here is Denard... Robinson... Off to the races..." |

Trying to figure out how to cram a $390K NSF grant into the $150K they gave me. Stingy bastards... #FirstWorldProblems |

Did they make you get off your incredibly high rickety stool and remove the skinny armbands you had on your sleeves? How about spats? What was their position on spats? |

I was 10 and sitting in the very endzone that Carter scored in during that IU game. The next 33 years have been a total disappointment in comparison. Also, in re Brandy's comment about "the Hoosiers, a coming power in the conference"? Lolhoosiers. |

Shakey, you know I can't quit you. You were an A2 legend and the fact that you're still around, pluckin' away on your two-string cigar box guitar and, surprisingly, posting on an internet sports blog, is cause for great celebration. You know, given that you're dead and all. But I think the combination of lighter fluid and moonshine (and death) has addled your brain a little. I think most of the reaction to Hoke's hiring was surprise, fear, and hope, but nothing like the garment rending you describe, at least on average. Of course, there are exceptions to rules (His Dudeness) but not mass hysteria. |
