I am taking January off this year. It is my first time doing so. Had 9 holiday parties in 12 days to end the year. Drank moderately at every party and felt like a huge POS when it was all said and done.
My current alternative choice has been Water. Lots of it. I'll mix in a Celsius if I need a pick me up during the day.
First thing on Tap Feb 1st will be either a CBS or I open an Old Forester Single Barrel. Decisions Decisions.
Knowing that Michigan takes the bare minimum NCAA qualifications for athletes coming out of High School. I'll be curious if Kante ends up at another D1 school this upcoming season. If he does, I'm not so sure it's entirely academics for why he was processed.
I think the portal is playing a role in this. It's a new world out there and this is a massive off-season for Juwan. No time for projects. We have enough of those already on the roster.
Edey is certainly a huge asset but as soon as they get matched up against a team with a big that can stretch the floor, they're in trouble. Outside of the Big Ten, there's a whole lot of them that can.
This version of Purdue is ripe for a 2nd round loss to an 8/9 seed.
The lack of player personnel awareness by Juwan, especially in-game, is officially a concern.
I am very much on the “Juwan is a good coach” bandwagon. At the same time, it’s pretty apparent this is an aspect of his job that is not improving and in fact getting worse.
What recent athletic issues? By all accounts the Athletic Department is in excellent shape. We are about to sign our Head Football Coach to a deal that makes him the highest paid coach in the conference in addition to having a buyout that protects the University's best interest.
You don't roll out the two Center lineup for the first time on the road at Iowa. You especially don't roll it out for extended minutes late in the 2nd half. Juwan's substitutions cost us this game.
Tschetter should have had half of Twill's minutes and half of Reed's minutes and we more than likely win this game comfortably. Juwan is sticking with Twill way too long. He brought absolutely nothing last night.
How these coaches can sit around and gameplan during the week and think "Yes, Hunter and Reed on the floor against a streaky perimeter offensive oriented team in Iowa is our best chance to win." Is beyond me. That's as bad as it gets.
(This is not a knock on Reed, that kid played his ass off last night.)
The Matt Dudek hire was arguably Jim's worst. Worse than Drevno and worse than Pep. I knew that dork would do something that would come back and bite us.

That doesn't take away the performance Jones had. It was special but it was also the perfect storm for him to showcase himself. Zero ball pressure and the worst help defense imaginable by Ohio State.
If you can't see we are a better team on both ends with Frankie Collins getting major minutes, you have no idea what you're looking at.
