I've got Notre Dame over Florida State.
Tennessee maybe upsets Ole Miss.
Northwestern over Nebraska.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:16 PM ^
That parlay would pay decent money
October 18th, 2014 at 7:17 PM ^
I agree...but I have the exact opposite.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:21 PM ^
They don't call me crazy for nothin'. That's why my friends call me whiskers.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:26 PM ^
I thought it was because you were curious like a cat?
October 18th, 2014 at 8:21 PM ^
given the choice between being the top scientist in your field, or getting mad cow disease, which would you choose?
October 18th, 2014 at 8:08 PM ^
I bet the farm on State covering 16pts on Indiana. Easy money
October 18th, 2014 at 7:17 PM ^
Neg me if needed but I am rooting for ND tonight. I want to see Winston lose and I want the Midwest to win a primetime game.
October 18th, 2014 at 8:08 PM ^
Winston is a douchebag but I will never cease to enjoy watching Notre Dame lose. I hope they 0-12 each and every year.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:20 PM ^
I think you're 0-3, my friend.

October 18th, 2014 at 7:18 PM ^
I missed the afternoon thread, so...
Season finale against OSU looks more and more horrific.
LOL at MSU as the highest-ranked one-loss team in Coaches Poll.
Go Irish tonight, because other than Michigan getting in (a ship that sailed over a month ago, if not four years ago), nothing would piss State fans off more than when Notre Dame makes the Playoff and they don't.
Oh, and Go 'Cats because Fuck Nebraska.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:19 PM ^
Wow, I just saw the TCU-Okie St. score; had no idea that massacre was happening.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:20 PM ^
Anyone have the attendance figure from the SRU game?
October 18th, 2014 at 7:32 PM ^
The Wow factor,
October 18th, 2014 at 7:22 PM ^
did anybody see the end of the Cal UCLA game? I was following on game cast with Cal down 2 points at the UCLA 2 yard line and 47 seconds left. next thing I know the game is over, and cal didn't score. what happened?
October 18th, 2014 at 7:25 PM ^
at the goal line by ucla. In a perfect world it should have been overturned.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:28 PM ^
Goff, Cal QB, threw a pick from said TWO damn yardline. Sadface. I was enjoying the UCLA tire fire.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:24 PM ^
Winner of Northwestern-Nebraska has the right to be called "NU". Loser has to settle for NW or Neb.
October 18th, 2014 at 8:06 PM ^
Isn't it the University of Nebraska anyway?
October 18th, 2014 at 8:28 PM ^
Yes. University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
But that's how important this game is. If they win they get to rename the school.
October 18th, 2014 at 10:18 PM ^
Yeah, but the teams from the old Big 8 are weird like that. NU (Nebraska), KU (Kansas), CU (Colorado), OU (Oklahoma).
October 18th, 2014 at 7:25 PM ^
Northwestern is trying so hard to make this game a thing. The Little Engine That Could of the B1G.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:28 PM ^
I'm rooting for ND, and for some reason I think they will win. I'm rooting for Tenn. just because. I think they have the athletes to keep it close but will come up short. I have Nebraska in the the final game and will be rooting for them. I just like Pelini now after he embraced the cat pic by bringing cat out on the field with him. I know it is a dumb reason, but that is all I have at this point.
I will be drinking Apothic Red wine during games, and have some Founders Breakfast Stout ready if the FSU-ND game gets interesting.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:26 PM ^
returns the opening kick against the Gators, good blocking, great speed. I feel like it would take a total breakdown and luck for us to return one.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:28 PM ^
I'm torn between wanting both Winston and Notre Dame to lose. All the loses. Yeah, I'm bitter. Wanna fightaboutit?
October 18th, 2014 at 7:31 PM ^
Posting this here as well as the afternoon thread because LOOK AT IT
In four games today, average points per team (so far) is 36.5 (!?!?).
Michigan is averaging 20.2 per game overall and 17.3 in three B1G games.

October 18th, 2014 at 9:11 PM ^
We're in the stone ages.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:34 PM ^
Your 8 PM and beyond games games -
Florida State / Notre Dame - ABC
Washington / Oregon - Fox Sports 1
Iowa State / Texas - Longhorn Network
Nevada / BYU - ESPN2 (10:15 PM Eastern)
Stanford / Arizona State - ESPN (10:30 PM Eastern)
Hawaii / San Diego State - CBS Sports (10:30 PM Eastern)
That last one has huge playoff implications in an alternate timeline.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:35 PM ^
fuck kenfucky, I hate them.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:38 PM ^
I want Mark Stoops to coach here possibly. Why would you root for LSU?
October 18th, 2014 at 7:43 PM ^
and I don't want mark stoops coaching here. He lost in triple OT to a bad florida team, and beat a south Carolina team that was unranked and really gave that game away.
I don't get the masturbatory overtones with this guy. He's 7-11 thus far in his career. Let's pump the brakes, and not our wieners, over this guy.

Kentucky got the shaft on that. The playclock expired on Florida's tying touchdown.
Also have you not heard of teams getting better over the course of the season?
October 18th, 2014 at 8:03 PM ^
I loathe Kentucky - I want them to get curb stomped.
October 18th, 2014 at 8:04 PM ^
Yet you want him as UM's coach. Sheer genius.
October 18th, 2014 at 8:30 PM ^
No he hasnt heard of teams getting better over the course of a season. He's a UM fan.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:36 PM ^
Rooting for FSU because ... because I can't root for ND under any circumstances.
Interested in the Washington / Oregon game. Records are even ... are teams? We'll see.
Keeping an eye on the Florida / Missouri game.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:39 PM ^
Tomahawk chopping on my couch too. To hell with ND!
October 18th, 2014 at 8:05 PM ^
Agree. I want ND to lose badly and they will, so I have that going for me.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:39 PM ^
F ASS U beats ND. At the end the season, Jamius Winston is found guilty of the autograph scandal. Florida State has to forfeit all the games but by then it's too late for notre dame to play in the championship picture.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:40 PM ^
Florida reminds me of us
October 18th, 2014 at 7:44 PM ^
There's a parallel, for sure.
I have a buddy who's a big Florida fan. He's in a world of hurt over the Gators. I gently remind him that bad as it may be in Gainesville, it could be worse ... like what's going on up in Ann Arbor.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:54 PM ^
They've still got the warm and fuzzy memories of the 2006 and 2008 national titles in football and 2006 and 2007 in basketball to console themselves.
October 18th, 2014 at 8:07 PM ^
I get what ypu are saying however FL would beat us by at least 14.
October 18th, 2014 at 9:17 PM ^
Florida state reminds me of michigan state. Hate em
October 18th, 2014 at 7:40 PM ^
NW has added gold to its uniforms . . . why?
New-look uniforms are one thing, but actually changing your color schedule is lame.
October 18th, 2014 at 7:46 PM ^
As to the addition of gold, I don't have a problem with it
EDIT: Lol, I noticed they changed the colors in their endzones as well.
