I've been in a couple of those races where he lapped us all. It may be the most demoralizing feeling in the world when you see how fast he is riding compared to everyone else.

I am also a huge cycling fan. Flanders and Roubaix are my two favorite races of the year. They are generally won by normal size individuals instead of people who look like they have an eating disorder. Spartacus is a freak of nature, but I always root for Boonen. I would love to see them enter the velodrome together on Sunday.

I'm convinced the defense is going to be special this year. There is too much talent at each level not to be.
If the offensive line comes together, this could be a really good football team. It is way too early to tell if that is going to take place. There are a lot of talented recruits that need to step up an coaches that need to coach them up.

That is absolutely brutal. I have small daughter as well and can't even imagine how our family would cope. Prayers for the family.

This was a great season and the team overachieved. They lose the National player of the year, an additional first round draft pick and their preseason all-amercian and still are one play from the final four. They played with so much heart today. Kentucky was so much more physically gifted but the kids wouldn't quit. One of my favorite teams of all time.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||WR||
I know we signed Tate, but we still need help at WR. I would love Watkins, and would settle for Evans. I also like the idea of moving back a couple spots, picking up a pick and getting the USC WR. I do like the signing of Inhedigbo.

It was 100 percent the right call. I was saying we should go for two even before we scored. We were never going to stop OSU again. Brady won we back today . We will be good going forward, and I do believe moral victories are stupid. The kids playd their guts out and we played to win. OSU is very very good on offense. I never want to see Miller or Hyde again.

I thought the offense was pretty terrible. I thought Borges called a better game but it was still awful. The fourth down call was terrible and he always seems to play action on obvious pass downs. It makes no sense to me and never works. That being said, Gardner played his heart out but he has regressed as a QB. It is as if he is broken now. He doesn't look anything like the kid who beat Notre Dame. He has tunnel vision and happy feet. I have no idea what the fix is for the offense but it seems like the ND game was a lifetime ago. It was nice to win though.

If that is the case, the coaches are smarter than me. I was mostly concerned with Bosch but thought Magnusson played well. I'm already trying to convince myself that a Braden Kalis Glasgow Bosch Mangusson line could be really good and will be toghether for at least two full years and 3 years for all except Glasgow with Kugler getting ready to play.
|25 weeks 6 days ago||We are a much better spread||
We are a much better spread team than power I team. I thought Borges called a great game. Honestly, I kept an eye on Magnusson and Bosch and they were good. I'm cautiously optimistc for the rest of the year. We have lots of flaws but can be very dangerous.
|26 weeks 2 days ago||Depends.....Part of me thinks||
Depends.....Part of me thinks Borges is handcuffed a little bit by the head coach but I don't know if that is true or I'm speculating. Last week was brutal, but I love what we did against Notre Dame and South Carolina in the bowl game. It is hard to reconcile those offenses with what we got on Saturday with Penn State. I'm starting to think the staff has lost a little faith in Gardner to not make mistakes and that is why we have tightened up. It reminds me of Denard after the Notre Dame game last season when we came out throwing it around. It seems like we tightened up after that performance. I really wish we would spread it out, take our chances and I could live with the result. 30 carries for 28 yards is mind boggling. My health and well being can't take any more of that.

I agree the play calling was bad but the o-line was awful. I don' t like ragging on kids but it is the worst o-line of my lifetime. It is brutal being in 3rd and long constantly because the interior can't block.
|26 weeks 6 days ago||I honestly thought the d||
I honestly thought the d played ok minus the final drive. It was nice seeing Wormley produce. That being said, I'm in hell right now. This one is on the coaches. We could lose to any team on our schedule or beat any team on our shedule. The O-line is terrible but I will save that for the other thread.
|27 weeks 5 days ago||Overall, I thought it was a||
Overall, I thought it was a pretty decent performance. We didn't turn over the ball and we didn't have many penalties. I thought the O-line was better and a little more physical. Defense was a little meh but I wonder if we prepared for the other QB and were caught a little off guard. The long drive by Minnesota hurt because we couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. I'm not sure how the season is going to go but I thought it was a step in right direction.

I think I read it somewhere on Mgoblog yesterday, but the real question is how many autographs did Manziel sign for the NCAA during their 6 hour meeting with him. What a joke the NCAA is.
|33 weeks 2 days ago||I have always generally||
I have always generally thought there is too much complaining about the NCAA. However, this one leaves me speechless. What a joke. I was wrong, the NCAA is a total joke and failure. I understand this sounds like rambling, but this has really left me in disbelief. He is suspended for a half? If I was Dez Bryant, I would be kind of pissed right now. Can someone please explain this in a coherent manner.

I'll take James Ross III and Jehu Chesson. Ross is going to be a stud and I can't help but think Chesson has to step up. I would love to have his speed really stretch defenses.

As a result of Sharknado, a guy I work with and I went through all the SyFy films to see what some of the funniest titles are. There next feature will be Ghost Shark (or something like that and yes I'm serious). It will be hard to top Sharktopus and Sharknado though.
|43 weeks 1 day ago||On the fence||
I'm on the fence. I'm not much of a gamer but had both consoles. I generally like the Xbox 360 more simply because I like the interface and controller. That being said, the PS3 was probably the greatest piece of home theater equipment I have ever owned. I have one of the original fat PS3 players and it still works perfectly. It has always been used basically as a blu-ray player, and has been outstanding. It was basically future proof. I think it was kind of ahead of its time and probably cost the PS3 the last console war. It was expensive at the time and hard to develop for, but it was an amazing piece of equipment.
I think I'm on my 3rd Xbox 360. The newer ones are very nice but the original ones were not reliable. It never had close to the bells and whistles the PS3 had. I like all the apps associated with 360 interface but could do without kinect.
I'm not sure which one I will end up with. It may come down to the simple fact that I really like the XBOX controller much better. I use my consoles more as entertainment boxes that can play games. Both of them appear very similar this time around.

The best part is that I told my wife "Don't blame me for Ally learning the phrase Dammit Michigan, blame Rich Rod.
|44 weeks 2 days ago||Dammit Michigan||
My daughter is 4 and was at day care this winter playing with some building blocks. She knocked the blocks over accidentally and uttered the phrase Dammit followed by the word Michigan. She believes the curse word is "Dammit Michigan" because the only time anyone says dammit in our house is when they are watching the Wolverines play and something bad happens. The daycare providers said they had to turn away so my daughter wouldn't see them laughing. Apparently she said it several times that day. My wife was less impressed but has grown to enjoy the story.
That is may daddy-daughter Michigan story.

I'm also not a big gamer, but I'm shocked by what Microsoft is trying to pull here. I love my Xbox 360 but will be picking up a PS4 in the next generation. Sony seems to have their act together this time around.

This thread just makes me miss NFL2K that much more. The last version of the NFL2K series was close to NFL football perfection. To their credit though, EA has always had the best college game.

I really enjoyed the finale. I haven't watched the show for a couple years, but for a while it was one of the best on TV. I thought the finale was very sentimental and I still love the characters after all the years.

I was proud last night, and I still feel proud this morning. The refs sucked both ways, but I still really enjoyed watching the game. I'm hoping we have 4 of the 5 starters back for next season, but either way I enjoyed the ride.

|1 year 1 week ago||That is absolutely my most||
That is absolutely my most painful sporting moment of all time. I was a sophmore in High School and I adored the Fab Five. I still have the baggy Michigan shorts and maize authentic Webber jersey. I remember disecting a fish in biology class the next day and being devastated. I hate Donald Williams to this day.
My second most painful was the next year when Colorado beat us on the Hail Mary. I remember wondering if Michigan was cursed at that point.
Edit: Actually in hindsight, I think Colorado was 2 years later because I was Senior. Either way, it was awful.
