He's become so defiant and defensive. I guess if you're going to go, you might as well go out your way, but this is just getting annoying. Sounds like he's competing like heck against the media.
|17 hours 4 min ago||No||
Devin won't get pulled. Hoke will be defensive in his post-game presser. Bet your bottom dollar on it.
|1 day 12 hours ago||I feel the same||
Seems like he would be on the sidelines with crutches or in a boot. The "treatment" wasn't that serious that he had to receive it during the actual game.
|1 day 17 hours ago||Spot on||
On your first point in that they would have let Shane keep playing with a concussion if it wasn't for the ankle sprain. Can you imagine the further serious damage that could have been done to this kid with the slightest hit to the head?
|1 day 17 hours ago||Come on man||
Sounds like you're defending Hoke in this situation. The #1 priority of Hoke before going to that press conference should have been to know the current status of Shane Morris. Really simple and easy. But not for Hoke. This man keeps falling flat on his face in every situation possible. Wake up.
|2 days 1 hour ago||Hoke||
How the hell didn't he know the updated status of Morris before the press conference earlier today?
|2 days 1 hour ago||These guys are criminal||
Can't believe he actually said Hoke was not updated on the current status of Morris prior to his presser. This is before a huge press conference that would be about Morris, what happened Saturday, and how's he doing, and the head coach didn't know or wasn't given that information?
|2 days 4 hours ago||Good read||
"At his core, Brady Hoke is a defensive line coach. Looks like one. Talks like one. Acts like one."
I've worked side by side with good people who were poor at their tasks and couldn't handle too much. I have also had supervisors who were good people, but just couldn't handle everything that overseeing a operation entails. It's life. Hoke is clearly in over his head, and it doesn't matter how great of a person he is.
It's sad because I truly believe he loves Michigan and is trying his best, but he's just not ready.
|2 days 14 hours ago||"Competed like heck!"...||
"Had a great, physical week of practice...well prepared...we can still win B10"...
|2 days 17 hours ago||Exactly||
I can't bring myself to watch the game again, but watching live, it seemed like Shane was limping way before the head shot. Just based off performance, DG should have started the second half and none of this would have happened in the first place.
|2 days 17 hours ago||Politics||
All this political shit going on at the top has brought us to this point. All these damn different factions and everyone wants to do it their way. Michigan used to be about winning football games the right way. I don't know what we stand for at this point.
No way DG shouldn't have started the second half. The game was in reach and he could've provided the "spark" that they thought Shane would provide. Hoke played to lose the game for his own bullshit reasons.
|3 days 5 hours ago||Don't forget||
They competed like heck!
|3 days 6 hours ago||Sometimes||
It's bigger than towing the company line and covering your ass. This is one of those times. Never would think a prestigious institution as Michigan would keep committing epic failures one after the other. Credibility is being completely shot to hell.
|3 days 11 hours ago||Maybe||
If he took the damn shades off, he could see something.
|4 days 5 hours ago||Speaking of that||
Is it normal for a athletic director to watch film with the coaches after a game? Seems very strange, but I could just be ignorant to the fact.
|4 days 5 hours ago||Shane...||
Sure looked wobbly to me...if there's no lineman there to catch him, he falls on his face.
|4 days 6 hours ago||Wow...||
These guys are idiots. I knew something was fishy when they said Jabrill was in the locker room receiving treatment from something that happened in practice a couple days ago. Peppers knows he's the best and getting screwed. Unbelievable.
|4 days 6 hours ago||Both||
He proves every week he's a real deal idiot. This took the cake.
|4 days 6 hours ago||Egregious...reprehensible||
First thoughts that come to mind. Then the bullshit excuses he gave in the press conference shows his complete lack of awareness. He should be ashamed of himself. Shane had already been limping and was getting worse. How can he honestly say he did not see Shane's conditions on the field? Is he watching the game? Unbelievable.
|4 days 7 hours ago||Well prepared and||
Competing like heck!
|4 days 8 hours ago||S.O.S.||
Every week. Same listless, poorly coached team. Won't change until we make a change.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Wwellllll||
We had a great week of physical practice, and competed like heck! I still have a plan!
|4 days 8 hours ago||Agree||
I said to myself during the game that this feels worse than some of those RR years. What makes it worse for me is this is Hoke's 4th year and his guys and we still stink.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Where's the guy||
From the game thread who kept posting the pic of Hoke clapping away?
|4 days 8 hours ago||Don't fret||
Hoke has a plan.
|4 days 8 hours ago||DG||
Clearly not the only problem, but should start the rest of the way barring injuries. Smith should start at rb and just feed the beast the damn ball. Funch is definitely hurt, but is also definitely our only viable option at receiver. All and all, unless we spread it out and open it up, we're screwed.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Absolutely abysmal||
I know he's going to say they were well, prepared, had a tough physical week of practice, and competed like heck. No more excuses. Hoke has to go.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Agree||
His handling of Morris was disgusting. Shane was limping a long time ago. More evidence he hasn't the slightest of a clue, but even more egregious because this blunder is dealing with the safety and well being of your player.
|4 days 9 hours ago||DG with a spark||
Whadda ya know.
|4 days 9 hours ago||Hoke||
Getting ripped as its deserved.
