Video Of All Varieties: Notre Dame 2010
The biiiig torrent is up, a 19-gig uncompressed capture. The more manageable one's ETA is 3PM.
Goot bye 87 yards zing:
Fuller highlights from MGoBlue:
WMAX radio guy Ryan Terpstra's field-level video of Michigan's last drive, the final play of the game, and the aftermath includes some priceless shots of the ND student section right after they got Denarded:
Rodriguez and Denard postgame:
If you could bottle Denard Robinson's smile it would light up the universe.
Other bits after the jump.
This is a must watch just for Rodriguez's response to a question about all he's been through in the past two years:
"Yeah… wow."
NBC's version of the same, which is grudging in re: M:
Terpstra also taped some brief interviews with Dorrestein…
…Mike Martin…
…and Michael Shaw:
And, finally, I can't believe I missed this pre-ND hype video from mgovideo, which is Denard-level amazing:

Denard is at the UM 35 and 2 ND players are headed up field about 2 yards ahead of him. Ten yards later at the 45, Denard is about 2 yards ahead of them and when he hits the ND 20 he has them by 5.
I thought that ND 5 star DBs were suppose to be fast.

Ryan Terpstra's video is awesome! I love the perspective of running up the tunnel after the game has ended, running past members of the ND band, looking left as players are getting interviewed. Just an interesting vantage point that you rarely get to see!

Oh god, those student shots are priceless. Laughing through this hangover is the best thing ever.
September 12th, 2010 at 11:14 PM ^
I was in the middle of the ND student section in the second half, wearing my colors and taking a verbal (and somewhat physical) beating for it. Needless to say, my facial reaction at that time was likely a tad different
September 12th, 2010 at 11:15 AM ^
I guess it'll be *another* half-hour or so before I can start getting work done!
September 12th, 2010 at 11:16 AM ^
...a great interview -- but then all the players acquitted themselves very well in these clips.
Big Will's block on the Hopkins TD was vicious. I'd like to see more of this heavy look for short yardage plays. Two hog molly backfield blockers (Big Will and QWash) plus Hopkins = first downs and touchdowns much more often than not.

...it would light up the universe."
Word.

Don't know if I am the only one doing it, but I often find myself sitting in front of my screen with this big shit eating grin on my face when Denard gives that big smile of his. His humility is refreshing.
September 12th, 2010 at 11:37 AM ^
Denard Robinson, shoelaces flopping in the wind, goes all the way to the endzone, 87 yards! Touchdown, MICHIGAN!

1:54: "We'll see", says a grinning Denard Robinson. Yup, I guess that performance was pretty tough to miss.
September 12th, 2010 at 11:38 AM ^
I'm glad I got to see the postgame stuff here. Yesterday, I was running around the street yelling the Victors and climbing on electric boxes, so I missed everything from Crist's last throw. It's good to catch up.

"I was just trying to get in the guy's way and I heard all of the ND fans get quite so I figured we did something right." What an awesome quote by Dorrestein. I'm loving the guys on this team more and more every week and every time I hear them. They are all incredibly humble and seem like they really do care about each other and the team. Go Blue!

Quick Screen Shot of you tube video + one line of text = Awesome.

That picture and this quote by Michigan Arrogance
Hey, remember when ND scored on that 95 yard pass to Rudolph? and the sun came out and the rainbow appeared over ND stadium? and you assumed god was on your side? You were wrong.

+1 to you sir

Pretty sure I had that same exact look back in 1998 when Donovan McNabb ran all over us. It's great to finally be on the other end of a running QB who causes all sorts of problems for the opposing team.

Yeah, he wasn't recruited by Lloyd haha

Here is a highlight victory video
September 12th, 2010 at 3:42 PM ^
Fun fact: no part of that video was fastforwarded. The live-TV broadcast was in slow-mo.
September 12th, 2010 at 12:49 PM ^
the kilted drum major (?) as Denard's on his knee after going 87. Walks by glances down at D-rob, takes a look at the rest of the kids coming down to celebrate, and stoically keeps on walking. About at :30 in the Play of the Day clip.
September 12th, 2010 at 10:40 PM ^
get trampled by a bunch of happy Wolverines. He was probably all alone in the end zone a split-second ago and wonders where all of these players came from. He might want to move that skirt a little faster next time.

TShirt? Please?
September 12th, 2010 at 12:57 PM ^
Anyone manage to get a screengrab of Kelly's face at the end of the first half, after the ball was thrown about 6 feet above Tacopants head out of the back of the endzone? That shot would be priceless...
September 12th, 2010 at 5:00 PM ^
It does appear that Tacopants has transferred to ND. Happily for ND fans who have been pining for Jon Gruden, Brian Kelly's facial expressions will be the next best thing.
September 12th, 2010 at 10:56 PM ^
...but how about this one?

i love the guy on the right with the buzz cut. it looks like his brain literally exploded
September 12th, 2010 at 11:37 PM ^
not a lot of diversity at ND is there
September 14th, 2010 at 12:30 AM ^
nonsense.
there's several shades of suburbia there.
September 12th, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
Denard's smile reminds me of Magic Johnson. You can't help but smile back.

I swear the ND Student section was chanting "Rob - In - Son" after the TD.
(some may contend that it was "block that kick". Bulls***!)

Sneaky 91 yards from Tay Odoms

This team is really special. Denanrd is such a focused, intense yet humble leader. Not a lot of people outside of this very blog had us winning in South Bend. This team is only going to continue to grow, and by getting a huge win on the road was paramount in this teams confidence going forward. These next two weeks should allow us to open the playbook a little more and showcase some kids that we haven't seen yet. Incredible start so far fellas. Denard and company take "the leaders and the best" to the next level! GO BLUE!
September 12th, 2010 at 10:45 PM ^
See some other players? Yeah, hopefully a lot of them.
September 12th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
None other than David Brandon.
September 12th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
pure goosebumps
September 12th, 2010 at 5:20 PM ^
Of course Denard Robinson stole the show, but besides Cameron Gordan's inexperience, which can be fixed the defense played good. And do people still think Denard Robinson can't throw, i hope so.These next two games will allow us to get the younger guys some serious snaps which only helps.Go Michigan!!!
September 12th, 2010 at 7:41 PM ^
Love it, but at 1:55:
"Shoelaces flapping in the wind!"
I mean, really. :)
September 12th, 2010 at 8:10 PM ^
is a fantastic announcer. To hear him at his best, type "dream season part 5" into youtube and listen to his calls in that video.
September 12th, 2010 at 8:49 PM ^
that can slow Denard down is YouTube's buffering. I suppose that's mostly my fault for being too impatient for awesomeness to wait for the little red line to finish creeping across the screen.
September 12th, 2010 at 10:00 PM ^
monster video is the best thing ive ever seen.
