Whoever scores the winning TD against OSU.
Dylan McCaffrey. I think he could be the next great QB at Michigan.
You think he will be player of the year this year? That would be quite the twist.
It's somewhat irrational, but I feel the same way about McCaffrey. I think Shea will set school records this year in the new offense. He's going to be great. But I think McCaffrey will be a better pro, and we'll be really good again next year with him under center.
McCaffrey/Turner
The new stud RB - whoever that will be.
If Shea has a phenomenal season (All-American/All-B1G 1st team level) it'll most likely mean we're in playoff contention.
The long snapper. He'll be seeing a lot of action, I expect.
Because we're never going to punt and only score touchdowns with two point conversions, I will respectfully disagree.
Stars matter
Dax Hill since he is gonna be the one to cover the slot in a damn mesh route....
Charbonnet and Turner on offense. I think RT will be fine and we know about the rest of the starters.
I hope Ambry is ready to go for game 1 because I'm really excited to see what he can do in coverage.
Freshman: Zach Charbonnet
Offense: DPJ
Defense: If he's healthy, Ambry Thomas. If not, Josh Uche.
Mineral King
Tarik Black, Josh Ross and the entire DL.
Shea. I am so looking forward to Gattis putting Shea in the best spot to shine.
O: Turner
D: Hutchinson
Nicooooooooo Collins.
I can't fckin wait!! I'm worried about the dline tho. I was watching a replay of Georgia and Alabama last night and boy are we not even close to their level. Someone please tell me not to be too concerned about it...
It’s worth being concerned about as our realistic best case scenario here is that we have a couple guys who are good but unlikely to reach Mo Hurst levels of disruption. That said I think the case for optimism is a slight reimagining of the defense a bit as we adjust to Bush being gone and maybe break out some new schemes for Ross/McGrone and hope that our ends (which should be a strength) and rabid squirrels LBs can be sufficiently disruptive if the DTs can hold the ground and get a little push.
I agree. I'm actually thinkin our LBs will be pretty good this year. Mcgrone I'm hopin will be solid and Ross I think will be very good. Secondary is really good. You're right tho, I'm hopin the rest of the defense compensates for the lack of interior push but will it be enough, we'll see.
Offense: I'm excited to see how Shea Patterson plays in the new offense that seems like should be tailor made for him
Defense: I think Kwity Paye is gonna have an amazing season
Offense: Nico Collins
Defense: Ambry Thomas
I’m excited to see Dax on offense and defense. I’m also pumped to see McCaffery a little throughout the season.
Shea, it has to be Shea.
I predict Zach Charbonnet the #1 RB by season's end.
Shea, he seems to be the one who'll benefit the most from the new system.
Moody! You forget that the kicker scores the most points on the team.
But hopefully he will only be kicking PATs this year.
I think it'll be a good year for Michigan all over the place, but I feel like Khaleke Hudson might really ball out this year. A lot of the new guys on defense around him, especially on the DL, are better suited for one of run defense or pass rush/coverage for the moment, but he's going to be the man for just about every alignment and every situation. Let the man blitz!
Last year I said both #7s, and look how that turned out. Keeping my fool mouth shut this time.
Go Blue!
Khaleke Hudson. I honestly think he's going to be an All-American.
Joe Milton
Nico Collins. I think he has superbeast in him and Gattis will bring it out, both with his offense and excellent WR coaching.
I'm very excited for DPJ and Black as well, but I think at the end of the season it's Collins who is the terror other teams have to prepare for and still can't really stop. ONLY HOPE CONTAIN
Tarik Black means Shea has a good year and since the ball will be well distributed then Collins and DPJ will also have good years. An abundance of wealth if Warinner has another round of solid impovement with an offensive line that gives Shea all day to see the whole field. This whole scenario yields Patterson as the POTY.
Dylan "Mother F*cking" McCaffrey.
Watch him be the difference maker for this team.
New plan - both qbs in for every snap. Both can run and no one ever knows who the ball is being snapped to. Both can get motioned out into space to catch passes or bomb it downfield. They share a joint heisman but a season of wear and tear grinds them both down as we approach the CFP Championship Game at which point Joe Milton wins the title by bombing it to our five fastest guys in five wide sets all day long against Alabama and our line keeps him clean the whole game.

We will be playing Clemson for the title, not Bama.
Ruiz. He’s going to anchor our resurgent OL all the way to the CFP.
Butch Wolfolk, 24 rides again
ZACH
Offense : Nico Collins - I think he’s going to thrive in an offense more catered to passing, and designed specifically to get the ball to guys like him. A big guy who can go up and grab those 50/50 jump balls is going to be huge for the offense this year. I don’t know that he’ll get 1,000 yards just because you’ve got two other very talented targets to get the ball to, but he’d be my first pick to crack it.
Defense: Paye or Uche, but probably Uche: the silver lining to Gary being hurt last year is these two got a lot of valuable playing time. And it wasn’t against a bunch of nobodies. These two played very well in the time they were given, and I think Uche takes another step forward this Fall.
I absolutely love the way Nico Collins goes up and brings in the ball. I would love to see consecutive throws his way just to demonstrate his ability to control the ball.
The single most important/pivotal position on a football team is the QB. If a Michigan QB is not the most valuable I fear what that extrapolates out to. I guess if Charbonnet rushes for 2000+ yards on 150 carries he could skewer my story.
If any one RB has 150 Carries this year then we must assume the Gattis experiment failed and that harbaugh took over again and decided to run Wisconsin’s offense to which I say no thank you. How about he gets 2000 yards on 95 carries and the worlds most absurd YPC but loses Heisman to Shea
Luiji Vilain.
Shea In an offense that is meant for Shea
Khaleke Hudson.
DPJ.
