Scott Frost. 15-29 (10-25) at Nebraska. Coming off a 1-8 B1G year (in the B1G West, no less) in his 4th year. Overall has trended downward. Even the Iowa States and Northwesterns of the world would have canned this clown by now. But not ol' nostalgic Nebraska.

Michael Penix Jr.
He transferred to Washington. Wasn't cocky and overcame stiff competition to rise up to be the cream of the crop and was named starting QB for the Huskies.

I saw that earlier today - very impressive that he was able to beat out Huard for the starting job. Didn't believe he would make any noise at the P5 level after he transfered out of IU. Hoping he does well.

He was thrust in before he was ready and then often pulled out early which will adversely effect production.

It was hard to penetrate B1G Defenses. He may score more with huge drives deep into the zone against PAC 12 D’s. He will likely pull out several big scores while keeping his head on a swivel and keeping his balls properly positioned for teammates.

I pointed this out in a thread a few weeks ago ----- Sean Clifford is 24 years old. He turned 24 in July.
Robbie Hummel and Evan Eschmeyer --- 2 other people infamous for playing college athletics forever --- when combined only played 3 games at 24 years old. Clifford will, pending him holding up for the season, quadruple that number.
That said, Clifford is still younger than a few BYU players. :-)

It’s no wonder why he transferred. He was likely sick of Scott Frost. He was Frost’s backup for a couple years and then had to take his BS as a coach.
