He was 35 and leaves a wife and young son.

Very sad news.

I serve on the traffic team at a very large church and generally 1 in 5 men have something going on personally or in their extended family.  That's likely similar with the number of people that walk through the church doors.  I'm sure there are a lot of us here that have somethings ranging from unpleasant to this-is-really-bad happening in our lives.  Prayers to you & yours along with the Fischer (Blazefire) family.

This is so sad to hear. I lost my mother this December, December 19th.  It has shocked me to my core.  She was 64 however and I had many memories and good times with her.  A trusted friend and great mom who always calmed me down when I watched U-M and started yelling at the TV.

My condolences to his family, wife and son.  The grief you are experiencing is something profound and will take time to work through.  My heartfelt prayer of comfort for you in this time.  Know that he is no longer in pain from this condition.

This is awful news. He was one of the old-timers; an MGoMember who always had the fun that this site is supposed to be at the heart of his posts.
Prayers for him and his family.

Awful news. He was quite young and he use to post more often over a decade ago. I have know idea if users we have not heard from in a while have passed on to that big stadium in the sky or just got tired of Michigan never reaching that elite team status and have just stopped posting on the blog.  We should have a mgoblog Posthumous page (for those we know have died). My wife said she will let everyone on mogblog know when the grim reaper cuts me down, if anyone even cares?

thanks for posting that 1974.

looks like he stopped posting on 8/22/16.  i wonder if there was something in particular that happened.  very sad news.

and we should do profiles.  i tried to start that up years ago and coordinate with justin but he was transitioning away from here and unfortunately we don't hear from him for years at a time now either.

Jesus that's sad.  35 is way too young.  I was about the same age as his son when my dad died, so this hits a little close to home.  I hope his widow is as strong and kind as my mother is.

RIP Blazefire.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Prayers with him and his family.

My father actually passed away on the same day. He too was a Michigan fan but never posted here. It's been a tough few days for us all.

Horrible news.  He was a solid contributor to the board for sure.  I'm really sorry to hear this as he was so young and leaves behind a wife and son.  That's tough to swallow.  RIP
