IU was without Morgan for the majority of the game and still managed to break their 7 game losing streak with a win in primetime at MSU. Time to bang folks.

MSU fans needed this loss. They were actually starting to buy into the usual hype about MSU being a darkhorse Top team in the country. MSU fans have been talking mad smack all of January

Now a 4 loss team

One of my favorite MSU losses of all time was the 2012 regular season finale against OSU that gave M, MSU, and OSU a share of the Big Ten crown (an MSU win would've made them sole champs). Despite the loss, MSU went ahead with a postgame "Big Ten Champs" ceremony in what had to be the saddest "celebration" that has ever occurred.

Now that is an embarrassing loss. Indiana didn’t even have their arguably best player most of the game. Purdue might come out of no where steal the conference crown.

holy shit. Wow. I am not surprised, though. Fuck them. Love how they claim UM is overrated, yet they lose to a team that lost 7 or 8 in a row, one we beat, too. Douchebags.

At the beginning of his presser, Izzo said this was his favorite day ever at MSU & then His post game presser was what you’d expect - groveling about his players afraid to practice hard due to injuries, groveling about being tired, groveling about a limited inexperienced bench. My goodness, he’s hard to listen to - I could not make it through the entire thing

The angry little sprite didn't find a way (clock, refs $$$, miracle shot/bounce) to give them that 'one leg up' down the stretch... as in some years past.  This is schadenstaeefreude.

"The Shame of Iron Mountain" can eat it, just eat this one.

For everyone worried about losing to Iowa....this is a far worse loss for MSU than either of our losses to Wisconsin or Iowa were for us.

This was a loss to a BADDDD team at home in primetime. Our losses were on the road to two tournament teams. The committee will find our losses to be forgivable. Especially if we avenge our loss to Wisconsin.

Still got a lot of work to do, but all of our goals are still right in front of us. The Big Ten Championship, tournament title, Final Four, those are still attainable goals.

All hail Beilein.

MSU is still a pretty good team but as we've seen the past couple of games they have flaws, and their ceiling is starting to look closer to UM's than I would have said a couple of weeks ago.  Without Langford they really don't have a consistent playmaker unless you squint at Ward, and that's not going to get you all that far if he can't hit FTs.

Credit to IU for playing really well on the road in a game they absolutely had to have if they wanted any chance at sneaking back onto the bubble.
