Get as close to Mid-Court as possible and you can't go wrong. Even if it is high up, these are good seats. I don't like the ends...but I guess that is a personal choice.

They beat Oregon earlier. They were ranked #18 at the time.

They had a decent non-conference schedule.

01/03/2019 - 5:41pm I wish they would've given…

I wish they would've given the ball to Higdon more and less to Tru and Evans. I might be in the minority here. Higdon would sometimes run for 8 yards and go immediately to the bench for the next 3 or 4 plays. Well, unless it was 2 more plays, because Michigan punted. I saw this often and wondered why Higdon didn't get to stay in. I think Higdon felt it, as well, which he hinted at during his departure.

12/31/2018 - 9:11am Yep. I don't know how…

Yep. I don't know how necessary it is to keep saying these things, but you're right

Time for the players and coaches to stop talking about "coming back to win a championship" until they win a championship. Quit talking about how you're going to do it and go out and do it.

Cut the championship talk. I'm not saying to stop using it as a goal, but quit talking about it in the media.

Thanks, Bird. In fact, i remember seeing something last week about this, saying that Hill and Long were going to play.

I don't know if it is true, but most of the board doesn't want to read news like this. i appreciate it

They are too busy yelling at Diag Blue's many posternames or crying.

Dantonio has more opportunities to win games that he shouldn't

Michigan was favored in all but 1 game this season, meaning they only had 1 opportunity to win a game that they shouldn't.

MSU was not favored in several games, giving them more opportunities.

12/17/2018 - 12:45pm Those 2017 guys were/are…

Those 2017 guys were/are freshmen this season. You're going to say that the team should finish 7th, because the freshmen recruiting class was between 5-8?

The team is comprised of more than just 2016 and 2017 guys. What were the rankings for the juniors and seniors this season?

That would be 2014 and 2015. How many of those players are still even here and/or are contributing?

12/10/2018 - 9:34am I'm not saying UVA is not…

I'm not saying UVA is not good. Sure, they are good, but #4? Their best wins are Wisconsin and Maryland. I think Michigan's resume is better.

It probably won't matter in a month.

12/09/2018 - 5:46pm Yep, they play 3 good games…

Yep, they play 3 good games a year and get a top 4 bid every single season.

Gonzaga plays like 3 good teams per year and always gets a top 4 seed...

plus, it's not really OT, since it will directly affect Michigan's ranking

12/09/2018 - 5:25pm The voters will probably do…

The voters will probably do the weak thing and just move everyone up 1 spot, slotting Gonzaga in around 7 or 8.

Makes Kansas, who barely squeaked by New Mexico St, the new #1, Duke 2, Virginia 3, and Michigan 4th.

I have no idea why UVA is ahead of Michigan, though. I can accept Duke, because they are "Duke," but why UVA?

This is the much better OP, so let's go with this one.

There will be a new #1 tomorrow!!

Hoke was not a good recruiter.

12/07/2018 - 3:08pm No, I would not.

No, I would not.

Was he really a good recruiter? Of defensive players, maybe.

he left a gaping hole at QB, RB, OL, and WR...

12/05/2018 - 10:17am The decrease could be…

The decrease could be partially due to the Nassar Scandal.

I have a nephew that toured MSU. They are moving to a new pay system, where the student is required to pay a flat fee every semester to be a full-time student. The fee is to be set at the amount of cost for 15 credits currently, whether the student takes 12 or 18 credits. The student might have to pay for 15 credits if only taking 12. The student pays for 15 credits, if they take 18, too. Anywhere in that range, they have to pay for 15 credits. This is one of the major reasons that my nephew is headed elsewhere.

I think he's headed to a much less expensive smaller school.

12/03/2018 - 2:03pm Good luck moving down

Good luck moving down

Unless you are just saying to move down and still sit in the upper bowl. The ushers have always kept upper bowl ticket holders out of the lower bowl for the entire game

In my experience, maybe some others have had better experience.

Always confused me why they were so adamantly against this.

12/03/2018 - 1:18pm Dang! Another thread on this…

Dang! Another thread on this? We just talked about this yesterday

Build a parking garage next to Crisler. Connect it to Crisler, so people don't have to walk a mile to the Arena/Center in the winter weather

Charge a low fee or no fee to people who have tickets to the game

Make general admission tickets, so people can pay and get good seats. Too many season ticket holders renew every year and then don't go to games. Pretty much the entire lower bowl is season ticket holders. Those seats are sold, but not filled. The ushers won't let people move down at halftime either or at any other time.

Lower the price of seats. Michigan doesn't need the money. $35 for an upper bowl ticket in the corner? That just isn't market value and not worth the hassle.

Check the thread yesterday for more talking points.

No, the basketball team does not have a game that day. They do play Binghamton the next day, though. That game might be more exciting than the game against Florida...
