I see at least two things about other commits (in a short posting history), and regardless of the context, I'm not sure how it'd ever make sense to post the line above on MGoBlog.

General point is that the guy is off to a rough start as a poster.

Im meh too and not because he cant be a great player but because we are in on so many elite level recruits.

Might have been two summers ago that a post covered the likelihood of production based on a recruit's star ranking and guess what the higher the star ranking the more likely they turned out to be an impact player.

Exactly, we as a fanbase are now in the territory of championship aspirations. We all want it and now we're all expecting it. So whats wrong with Paye? Well, nothing, he COULD be great. Look at OSU's class and everyone besides a damn kicker is rated higher, Bama's class? Everyone besides a K and some locals.

Every team is taking 3 stars, you have too but since we all want to be the best and our expectation is championships or bust I think we should be a little more selective with the recruits. MOST correlations are true, there's a reason Bama kicks everyones ass, it's because they get the best.

Though you could argue that in year one here Don Brown's defense is better than anyone that he had at BC. Just because he was a good fit at BC doesn't automatically mean that he is the best fit at michigan and ignoring that fact is also problematic.

Brown's had some time to see what he has to work with here, the level of players we can recruit and then decided he wanted Paye here.

I don't think there's anything automatic about that. He's a recent offer, which I would think is based on his senior film. I agree that just because Brown likes a recruit for BC doesn't mean he's a fit for us.
