First game of the season predictions…?

Good guys start the season off right!

Michigan 48 Colorado State 0

48-10

A slow start causes panic and tearing of undergarments in the front yard, but by mid 2nd quarter we’re rolling, and by halftime Michigan has a very comfortable lead. A lot of guys get their feet wet in the 2nd half, keeping the final tally down.

49-17. Defense takes a game or two to mesh and Harbaugh calls off the dogs. Cade goes 18-21 for 250 yds. Corum and Donovan each rush for 100 yds. Textbook Harbaugh game.

58-9.

Michigan's backups get more playing time than their starters.  Colorado State get a few late field goals, or they score a touchdown in garbage time, miss the xp, and then later kick a field goal.

38-17

We go up a couple scores, but have a lull in the middle parts of the game. Score a few more to make it never really close, but the game, while never really competitive, doesn’t leave you feeling great.

Michigan: 54

CSU: 17

I think CSU will get 1-2 flukey TDs on a random big play/bust on the UM side then they knock in a field goal. UM manhandles them but a ton of guys play and there is just a few first game breakdowns.

Offense is looking good as balls...nothing more to say.

69-0 … it has a nice ring to it…

it will be 23 field goals to maximize the contribution to Mott’s that Jake Moody has arranged through his NIL deal.

The offense moves the ball.  Players go down intentionally at the one yard line after picking up first downs.  Harbaugh elects to repeatedly kick field goals on “1st and goal from the one”.

During the post game press conference - Harbaugh informs the media - “It was all for the children at Mott’s, and yes - Jake Moody’s NIL agreement did influence my decision.”

Week 1, air raid and a general belief that the UM defense will see a decent drop off has me thinking that it's closer than most think. I don't mean a squeaker or anything but I don't think UM covers. I'm thinking UM by 14-21 in a fairly high scoring game. I'll go

CSU - 27

UM - 44
