I, for one, see this as a genuine opportunity to understand the mindset of someone who chooses to write/post this way.

OP, why are you the way that you are? Do you envision people who are on the fence about clicking a post about a new CB on this board and think, I know - if I conceal the actual subject of the news, by golly, they'll just have to click? And what precisely do you gain from these extra clicks you have secured? You trickster you.

This is especially confusing because there was a crystal ball put in today by Brice Marich for 2022 4-star OT Lucas Heyer out of Minnesota. 6'5" 307 lbs

Gregg Glenn is family friends with the Howards so this one always seemed pretty likely if there was space for him in the class and how the dominos fell. The 2022 class could start coming together pretty quickly if he commits

I like Glenn's game though. I see him as an elite stretch 4 stuck in the body of a wing. He can stretch the floor and has some nice moves around the basket, but does lack that prototypical size.

Multiple 247 analysts just put in a whole bunch of crystal balls today so the CB page might be worth a look for some people. Other notable CBs include multiple crystal balls for Jalen Duren going pro, multiple crystal balls for Dylan Anderson to Arizona, and multiple crystal balls for former MSU commit Enoch Boakye to Oklahoma State

I'm guessing the Clingan offer today isn't coincidental given the CBs for Anderson and Duren who were our only offers at center previously

I did see a recent article where Dug McDaniel is now going to hold off committing until at least the summer where he can visit some schools first. The class size will be at least 4 depending on any transfers or Diabate or Houstan going pro after one year. I feel safe saying Wagner and Hunter won’t be here after next year.

After checking 247sports and different positions I was surprised Michigan has the 5th ranked shooting gaurd in the nation Dillion hunter that goes to yspi prep commited to Baylor for the class of 2022.  I know that's where bates attends. I personally don't think bates will attend msu ,but I guess I rather have hunter go to Baylor than msu. If he's not going to attend Michigan that is!

I think we will land Glenn if we prioritize him. The question has been whether we will. There are lots of big wings we are pursuing so it will be interesting to see how it shakes out. You have to assume Jett gets first priority, but after that? Tough to say.

I read as many of MattEM's posts as I can but I don't always remember them clearly.  I have this fuzzy impression that he perhaps wasn't as high on Glenn as the services?

Going to assume the thread title puts out the batsignal anyway.

I’m curious as to what Matt’s evaluation of him is as a whole. Who does he compare to? Is he the athletic leaper type or is he more in the mold of Terrance Williams?

I'm definitely not Matt and not a professional talent evaluator by any means, but I don't think he's a leaper or a Terrance Williams type. I see him as an undersized stretch 4. He's got the body of the wing, doesn't have the best handle or athleticism, but can stretch the floor, has some ability to face up defenders near the high post and attack the rim

Below was the evaluation by Jerry Meyer on Terrance Williams from HS. Sounds a little similar to your assessment of Glenn.

Has strong physique and plays with toughness. Not an explosive athlete or high leaper, but has physical/functional athleticism. Has good hands and feet. Reliable positional rebounder. Average ball handler and passer. Has efficient shooting form and potential to stretch the defense in college. Has versatility as a big man defender.

I feel like he’s not explosive and is kind of that intermediate size between the 3 and the 5 but isn’t really a power forward either. I could be wrong however.

He is a much better prospect than Terrance Williams.

In the below video at 3:06 watch the move he puts on Diabate (IMG, the 5* recruit coming here). At the 4:10 mark he puts a similar move on him (he has a nice spin move) but Diabate gets him back.

- this kid has a real good all around game and will be a top 50 recruit (already is for 247 i think).

This would be a real good get.
