It was a lot clunkier than the last dub over the dubs, but coming back from double-digit deficits to beat top-12 teams on the road after being locked in your dorms for 16 days is just how things go when you're headed for a one-seed.
And you can't have one without the other…

I wound up catching a lot of this game via the ESPN app and it really felt like UM turned it on with about 12 minutes left and Wisconsin's early run of success shooting absolute garbage (shot estimation coming from Twitter) trailed off. Excited to watch this game on replay tonight, even if the first 20+ minutes are going to be brutal.
This is a fantastic effort by the team and credit to Howard for getting them to perform in the 2nd half.

13 point swing in the last 7.5 minutes -- M went from down 5 to an 8 point victory (we scored the last 8 points). During this time, Dickinson had 6 points, 2 blocks, and 8 rebounds!!!!!!!!

Hunter was a man amongst boys in the paint. His o-rebounding kept alive so many possessions.... invaluable ??
I love this team, so much heart and fight. A true reflection of their head coach.

Hunter was fresh, rather than possibly winded, because Coach Howard knows the weapon he has in Austin Davis. He knows well what Davis is capable of and strategically rested Dickenson in order to make sure he was in peak form for the final stretch.

Juwan should easily be coach of the year. Michigan was barely ranked and look at where they are now. Baylor, Gonzaga and Nova are right where they are supposed to be. Coming off a 23 day layoff and beating a top 25 team on the road should seal it.

Livers showing some serious senior leadership this game. Mentally engaged from the get-go and played an aggressive game when other guys were passing up open looks. MVP from my perspective.

Livers got several own rebounds and played with a high level of intensity. Brown looked really rusty on offense.

Yeah he’s probably the MVP - although Dickinson gave him a run for it with 15 boards and 5 blocks! Totally outplayed their bigs even on an off day offensively.

Only saw the first half-pretty ugly. Thought at that time that if they figured out how to win this game-watch out. Got back from delivering my, 11 year old Michigan fan, grandson to home...up by 2 with 2 minutes to go. Hmm...actually a great, gritty way to restart this season. This is the best-coached team in college basketball.

Initially wondered by Davis got so much action early in the second half. I shouldn’t doubt the coaching staff. Davis played much better in the second half and it allowed Dickinson to rest and dominate the boards in the the last 10 minutes. Well done!! GO BLUE!

I expected rust and the cheap shots by the 18 seniors on Wisconsin. The boys battled through it and came up big today all things considered. A win next Sunday could clear the path for that 1 seed.
